Dead by Daylight - это многопользовательская игра в жанре ужасов в режиме (4 против 1), где один игрок берет на себя роль жестокого Убийцы, а четыре других игрока являются Выжившими, пытающимися сбежать от убийцы.
Выжившие играют от третьего лица и имеют преимущество в ситуационной осведомленности. Убийца играет от первого лица и больше сосредоточен на своей добыче.

A REALM OF SPLENDOR

From June 16th 11:30AM ET - 30th 11:30AM ET, the Entity’s realms will undergo a luxurious transformation. Sights you’ve come to recognize – generators, hooks, lockers, and more – have all been decorated for this gleefully twisted occasion. The Bloodweb will also be filled with several limited-time event items, including Masquerade Flashlights, Toolboxes, Medkits, and the return of the Anniversary Bloodpoint offering.

SEEK YOUR INVITATION

For the duration of the Twisted Masquerade, Invitations will be placed throughout every trial. Housed atop an ornate pillar of black and gold, these Invitations will move around the map, triggering a sound cue after relocation. Upon finding one, both Killers and Survivors can claim their Invitations to earn up to 12 exclusive mask cosmetics.

To successfully receive the reward, Killer players must finish a match after interacting with an Invitation. Survivor players must survive until an escape option becomes available, meaning the Exit Gates or the Hatch must open. Be careful, however – if you are left on a hook or killed the moment the Exit Gates or Hatch open, you’ll have to try again next trial.

LAVISH MASK COSMETICS

This is a masquerade and make no mistake – it's a twisted one. With such a deadly dress code in place, it’s only fitting that successfully claiming Invitations will earn you up to 12 collectible masks for 6 Killers and 6 Survivors.
Seeing as it’s been 6 years together in The Fog, we’ve been feeling a little nostalgic. When choosing the recipients of these masks, we made sure to highlight two characters from each year of Dead by Daylight. Step into The Fog, seek out your Invitation, and unlock them all. Please note that these mask cosmetics unlock in a random order, regardless of which role you play.

EVENT TOME & COMMUNITY CHALLENGES

While the DEVOTION Tome remains ongoing, The Twisted Masquerade also introduces a separate Event Tome complete with two levels of brand-new Challenges to overcome. As for the central characters, this Tome is all about our Guests of Honor: The Dredge and Haddie Kaur.

Complete event-inspired challenges in this Tome to unlock exclusive – and downright luxurious – Anniversary outfits for Dead by Daylight’s newest Killer and Survivor:

By progressing through the Event Tome, players can also unlock three brand new 6th Anniversary Charms: Rancid Cupcake, Pop-Up Card, and Celebratory Skull. One of the nice things about charms is how they’re something of a time capsule. A way to tell your fellow players “I was there.” Commemorate your attendance to the Twisted Masquerade with these charms by completing Event Tome challenges. Speaking of which.

Each Event Tome level features a Community Challenge track, where players around the world must unite to accomplish a common goal. You’ll notice a pair of bars present in each challenge – these are the personal and global progression bars, with the latter being a culmination of the community’s combined efforts. Contribute by filling your personal contribution bar, as you won’t be able to progress to the next challenge until you do – even if the global progression bar is full.

DAILY LOGIN REWARDS

It’s a time for celebration, and we want to pay it forward – after all, we wouldn’t be here without you. For the duration of the Twisted Masquerade, we’re offering daily login rewards of in-game currency. Each gift period begins at 11 AM ET and ends 24 hours later.

A twisted abomination too disturbing to bear, The Dredge’s malevolence is palpable. All light slowly drains in its presence, surrounding Survivors in darkness. Using lockers as map-wide gateways, it can emerge at any moment, seemingly everywhere at once.

Power and perks

Reign of Darkness

Special Ability –The Gloaming: The Dredge can activate The Gloaming, leaving a Remnant behind. While The Gloaming is activated, The Dredge can teleport to any lockers across the map, allowing for heightened mobility and surprise attacks. Be warned – Survivors can barricade lockers to impede your progress. Otherwise, The Dredge can return to its Remnant.
Special Ability – Nightfall:
Whenever the Dredge teleports, places a Survivor on a Hook, or injures a Survivor, the Nightfall meter builds. The meter also fills when Survivors are injured, as well as when The Dredge remains in a Locker. When the meter is full, the entire map darkens. Simple navigation becomes a matter of life and death as Survivors scramble to stay one step ahead. Meanwhile, The Dredge loses its Terror Radius, gaining the element of surprise, as well as a reduced cooldown on Locker teleportation.

Darkness Revealed

Upon opening a locker, reveal the aura of all Survivors in the vicinity of any locker.

Dissolution

After injuring a Survivor, Dissolution activates for a duration. During that time, if a Survivor performs a fast vault on a pallet in your Terror Radius, that pallet is destroyed at the end of the vault action.

Septic Touch

Whenever a Survivor heals within your Terror Radius, they are inflicted with Blindness and Exhaustion. Those status effects briefly remain after the healing action is interrupted.

Самым странным и в то же время забавным анонсом прошедшей трансляции стала игра под названием Hooked on You: A Dead by Daylight Dating Sim. Это красочный симулятор свиданий, в котором игроки получат возможность закрутить романтические отношения или подружиться с такими маньяками, как Охотница, Ловец, Дух и Призрак.

Несмотря на красочный антураж тропического рая, где происходят действия симулятора свиданий, разработчики обещают неожиданные повороты.

За комедийный спин-офф Dead By Daylight в таком жанре ранее отдали свои голоса сами игроки в голосовании от разработчиков. Разработкой проекта Behavior Interactive занимаются в сотрудничестве с компанией Psyop.

Релиз Hooked on You: A Dead by Daylight Dating Sim ожидается этим летом в Steam.

Кроме того, в рамках онлайн-мероприятия посвященного 6-летию Dead By Daylight, состоялся анонс второго кроссовера с Resident Evil, получившего название Project W, что вполне может указывать на добавление в ростер убийц знакового антагониста Альберта Вескера в числе других персонажей франчайза.

Ещё одним кроссовером стал анонс косметических предметов на основе популярной манги и аниме "Атака титанов". Например, Они можно придать облик Колоссального Титана, а Дуайта переодеть в Эрена.

Dead by Daylight — мультиплеерный экшен-хоррор с видом от третьего лица, который расскажет о четырех подростках и маньяке, желающем кромсать всех и вся. Игровая механика построена таким образом, что одни игроки должны убежать от своего преследователя, а тому, кто играет за маньяка необходимо найти и убить всех четверых подростков.

Уровни генерируются случайным образом, что позволяет игрокам каждый раз ощущать игру по-новому.
