If you want to install and use the LEGO® Boost app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use this app for your computer in 4 simple steps below:
Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac
Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App >> . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac
Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.
Step 3: for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10 / 11
Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type LEGO® Boost in the search bar and press Search. Click on LEGO® Boostapplication icon. A window of LEGO® Boost on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the icon. Click on it and start using the application.
Step 4: for Mac OS

The steps to use LEGO® Boost for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. The links are provided in step one

How to download and install LEGO on Windows 11
To use mobile apps on your Windows 11, you need to install the Amazon Appstore. Once it's set up, you'll be able to browse and install mobile apps from a curated catalogue. If you want to run android apps on your Windows 11, this guide is for you.
Steps to setup your pc and download LEGO app on Windows 11:
To find LEGO Android app on Windows 11 after you install it, Go to Start menu » Recommended section. If you can't find the LEGO app there, click on "All apps" next to the pinned section in the Start menu and scroll through the list.

Our six year old enjoying
Our six year old is really enjoying the Lego Boost set and building like never before. We don’t own a tablet so he is doing Everything on an iPhone just fine and we are all the way through the cowboy stage. The way it builds in stages and expands functionality really works. Have not gotten through all the builds or programming yet but it asked for a rating. I would say I am really impressed so far. One disappointment is that I don’t see a simple intuitive help for individual programming blocks. I figure if you select a block maybe it should offer help to describe the blocks functionality.
It used to work great.
The Lego Boost app used to work great on my 4th gen iPad (MD514LL/A) running iOS 10.3.3, which is a supported device according to the Lego website. However, ever since the update to version 1.6.3 of the app, it crashes every time upon trying to open it. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app, and even did a complete factory reset on the iPad itself, but the app still crashes every time. The Lego Boost Creative Toolbox itself is a wonderful set, my kids love it, and fortunately we have another device that they can operate it with. But, if you are considering purchasing the set to use with a 4th gen iPad, I recommend downloading the app first to make sure that it works.
Horrible app for the price we paid for LEGO set
The app has not worked well at all. Every time my child gets through a section of building the app either does not store where he left off and locks the level again or it brings up a settings box (but not the primary settings box for app-which is empty) that will not go away. When you try to close out the settings the last check mark takes you to the webpage and will not close to continue to next section. We paid a lot of money for the robot set, which did not come with paper instructions as a back up. The app needs to be functional.
App is confusing
We got Vernie so our six year old could start learning coding fundamentals. Unfortunately our four year old keeps breaking Vernie, which would be fine if we knew how to reassemble. Because there are no books, we have to use the app directions to rebuild. However, the app is so confusing to use that we can never find the directions. And when Vernie is rebuilt, we can hardly understand the various icon selections in the app and what they do. I wish there were words we could click on or simple directions. In my opinion it is not user friendly, and for that reason we simply don’t play with Vernie anymore. $160 toy we don’t use.

мари, да, помимо стандартных инструкций в приложении есть ещё куча самодельных, поищите по запросу moc boost. Мы с сыном собирали конфетную катапульту например, очень крутая штука.

LEGO Boost Star Wars - новый STEAM набор.
Содержит 1177 деталей и позволяет собрать все три модели R2-D2, Gonk Droid и Mouse Droid одновременно, а не по очереди. Набор содержит главный моторный блок от Boost, а также сенсор цвета/расстояния. Управлять роботами можно с помощью фирменного приложения LEGO BOOST Star Wars. Для всей тройки роботов подготовлено более 40 миссий, во время которых дети разберутся с особенностями программирования и смогут создать собственные сценарии.

Виктор, да все разрешения даны, толку нет, крутится надпись подождите, потом опять объявление нажмите зеленую кнопку
Наталья, нажимайте (если андройд) настройки, приложения, приложения, находите лего буст там, права, и разрешает доступ геоданные, микрофон и память, после этого при запуске лего буст программы у вас будут активны все три пункта (им даёте разрешение) и все должно запуститься. Если все это не поможет, то попробуйте на другом устройстве.
Виктор,Все разрешения даны давно. Разобрали робота, собрали машину, ничего так же не запускается. У меня телефон Хуавей 2019 года. Я не знаю на каком устройстве запускать ещё? Отдельный телефон покупать?
Здравствуйте, подскажите пожалуйста, я правильно понял - в lego boost сенсор определения цвета только на маленьком расстоянии работает (только если в упор к датчику поднести) или же как-то можно сделать, чтобы он реагировал на цвета на большом расстоянии (хотя бы 10 см.).
Кэр, К сожалению нет. На всех версиях лего вплоть до EV3 рекомендованное расстояние для определения цвета +- 1 см.
Мария, у меня на телефоне версия блютуз 5,0, но та же проблема. Сначала пишет подождите, потом нажмите на кнопку и так по кругу.
Мария, роблемму решила. Позвонив на горячую линию лего по бесплатному телефону: 8 (800) 700-31-10. Консультант помог. Оказывается на самом блоке робота было устаревшее програмное обеспечение. С помощью зажатия зеленой кнопки и одновременного запуска приложения оно обновилось и всë заработало. Там есть нюансы, в какой момент нажимать зелëную кнопку и на каком этапе запускать приложение (определëнный шаг в приложении, открыть действие машина, но не заходить в него, а зайти после нажатия зелёный кнопки, которую нужно зажать). У меня получилось раза с десятого только.

Екатерина, еще вопрос, если можно: Ваше устройство видит лего по блютус? Наши все не видят, если посмотреть обычные подключени. Так должно быть?
Мария, я не проверяла, поэтому не знаю. Признаком, что подключение происходит, является, то что кнопка на роботе загорается синим цветом, значит приключение есть.
