Lego harry potter years 1 4 не видит геймпад

I'm playing with my younger sister with 2 xbox controllers. Everything works fine until suddenly her controller will stop working and she will be unable to move. We tried "changing the device" through the mai menu but it never works. It worked when we switched the controls over to the keyboard for her, however as soon as we try to switch back the game freezes. Anyone experience this or have a fix?

So if any of you guys (or people seeing this in the future) are having this issue, I might have a fix. I'm using an Xbox controller and when I was on steam it showed that my Xbox controller was not configured. All I had to do was go to Settings>Controller Settings>Xbox Configuration Support and check the box. (BTW this was on steam Big Picture). The game seems to be working fine now. Hope this helps.

Just hit this same issue today. 2 Xbox controllers and one of them (it's random which one) will suddenly switch to the keyboard. If you then enter the menu using the keyboard the game will not let you do anything else. You have to shut it down with the task manager. We played for an hour the first time it happened. The second time, it happened in about 2 minutes.

check your battery. i found that the game is more likely to lose input then. Also you dont have to restart the game entirely, going back to the main menue is usually enough.

Slightly late to the party but I just started playing this with my kid and this keeps happening. We've lost progress on both occasions because there doesn't seem to be a way to get control back once this occurs - you have to kill the game and load it back up again.

I had this very same issue, and found that copying the savegame to another slot solved it. So if e.g. you have it on Slot 1, just copy it to Slot 2 and you should be fine. I hope it works for you, the game is so awesome - have fun!

Does work for me
but does it happen consitently to some precise level at some precise point ? like year 4 level 1 or year 4 level 3 (but this one is weird, the first one to die in the dragon run loose). I also got other level but it seems to work fine in freeplay.

This is the way guys/gals! Worked perfectly. Switched it over to Xbox controller and restarted the computer. Played 2 days now with no failing controllers. Awesome!

I am having this same problem but with the player one i try connect my xbox controller to the player one cause i wanna use my controller instead of my keyboard but when i go to use my controller player two comes in and it only lets me kick the player with the controller assigned and then player ones controls are absent idk how to fix this does anyone got any ideas i just wanna play the game with my controller without any problems not far from refunding out of pure frustration

I think i have the same pb on W10, i cant put "pause" on my game cause i cant leave the menu i dont know why, i cant use my keyboard or controller after that.

For Harry Potter Years 1 to 4 I also had to check the box for the Generic Game Pad Configuration Support to get my Xbox 360 Controller to be recognized by the game.

When I launch the game I cannot use the controller at all.

I have tried going through the menu to "change device" but it does not work. I have tried using x360ce but it does not work.

I am on Windows 10 and I am using a pdp Wired controller for Xboxone

I have played all 3 Lego Batmans, Lego LOTR, Lego the Hobbit, Lego MSH and Lego HP 5-7 without any problems.

Does it work for anyone else? If so how did you get it to work?

I know this is a year old but go to controller configurations, click player 1, press enter (with controller after making sure steam controller for Xbox is enabled) and then click enter. Ur controller should be working after that, if it doesn’t I did this with a plug in controller

Start game without x360ce running, make sure you have latest update for windows 10. If this doesnt work close your game and restart it.

I've played Lego Batman just fine

It is the exact same for me. I tried using the same controller on other games and it worked just fine. The lego harry potter years 1-4 probably does not support controller? Idk..

In Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4, when I first ran game everything working fine with my controller. when I started game again, it didn't recognize gamepad at all or sometimes recognized it as player two (but I am trying to play single) or sometimes it recognized as player one but can't do anything (not recognize any button press or triggers change).. I am running GOG Galaxy only, steam or others are closed (disabled, not running).. using xbox wireless controller which is supported via bluetooth. I checked connection and it is fine so only issue in game

In this tutorial you will find steps to make x360ce work with LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4. This method also works with any game – just do the same easy steps, no special skills needed to make any controller work as an Xbox 360 gamepad. Emulator allows your controller (joystick, wheel, gamepad, etc.) to operate as the most common device, recognized by most of the games without any additional settings and workarounds.

1. The first step is to download x360ce zip file from official site. You have to select 32 or 64 bit version (same as the version of LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 you use). If you don’t know the version of your game or download wrong one accidentally, you will be notified later and have a chance to use another version.

2. Now we have to find the installation folder of your game. You can easily do this by looking into game shortcut settings or finding the game in your Steam library list. If you choose the Steam variant, right click the game name and select “Properties”.

3. Navigate to “Local files” tab and press “Browse local files. ” button.

4. Now you need to find the folder with LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 executable. In the example picture they are located in Binaries / Retail subfolder. You need to extract downloaded x360ce ZIP file to folder with your game executable file.

5. Click on x360ce exe file with the right mouse button and select “Run as administrator” from dropdown menu.

6. You will see window with warning – “xinput 1_3.dll was not found. This file is required for emulator to function properly.” Don’t worry, just click “Create” button to make them appear.

7. When x360ce will inform you that new device was detected, use automatic search for settings from internet – just hit “Next” button.

8. Click “Finish”, when installation completed.

9. Hit the “Auto” button to make all settings set to defaults. Confirm changes by clicking “Yes” in popup window. All the buttons will be filled automatically.

10. Now just hit “Save” button to make all your settings saved. You can also change buttons assignment before hitting “Save”, if you like.

Now you can normally launch LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and use your controller with x360ce emulator – it will be starting automatically with each game launch.

Я думаю это редкий случай. Попробуй переустановить дрова на видеокарту, последние. Direct X обновить, скачать PhysX с оффсайта. и соответственно саму игру переустановить.

Ну дрова у меня и так последние стоят, если только игру переставить попробовать. Вообще не первый глюк я встречаю в этой игре, на третьем году был момент в последней миссии когда бьешь заклинанием по статуе и игра зависает. Пришлось изощренными способами это место проходить. Вот теперь опять заглючило(

помогите плиз разобраться. вылетает игра, где после того как игрешь за рона и гермиону, идёшь через мост, там идёт видео как Хагрид ёлки приносит, потом ролик заканчивается и всё. вылетает с ошибкой. я думаю что просто ролик который после него не запускается.. а фишки с удаление сохранеий пробовал - три раза играл и разные версии пробовал - оригинал и от R.G. ReCoding

народ! хелп! че делать? вылетает ошибка,суть ошибки лежит в файле XAudio2_4,диретикс обновил,гемор остался,помогите.

Всем привет, установил игру, но при анимации человечков по всему экрану начинают летать(рябить) серые полигоны, а сами человечки не рисуются. Переустановил игру, скачал другой образ, все равно также осталось. В других играх лего такой проблемы небыло! Подскажите из-за чего это может быть?

1. Можно попробовать с настройками по умолчанию. Если не помогает, то постепенно снижать качество графики (разрешение экрана, эффекты). Если не поможет - взять файл сохранения и пройти эту часть на другом компьютере. Ну и следить за температурой внутри корпуса компьютера. В некоторых случаях приходится начинать игру сначала (когда наделает ошибок в файлах сохранений).
2. Сначала разбить дементора, затем собрать правую статую с факелом (она в сундуке), разморозить ею часть двери, и только после этого применять заклинание к левой статуе с факелом.
3. Можно сразу после применения магии на гаргулью прыгать вниз, чтобы в момент когда дверь плавится ее не было видно. И потом так же со второй.
4. После поливки цветов нужно включить нижний цветок, а верхний не трогать, потом разбить дементора собрать другую статую, прыгнуть на верхний цветок и одновременно стрельнуть заклинанием, чтобы персонаж выстрелил магией когда он оторвался ногами от цветка типа когда он прыгнул) и потом быстро беги влево чтобы камера не "видела", как растапливается дверь.
5. Этот способ "один на двоих". В общем все просто:
1) Нужно включить режим на двоих
2) Второго игрока (зеленого) отправляем наверх
3) Затем все делаем с быстротой молнии.Зеленым(вторым) игроком стреляем в 1 держатель затем врубаем паузу за зеленого и жмем drop out. Подождите 5 или больше сек.
4) Повторить в том же порядке.

Установил с образа Clone CD, кряк поставил, запускаю - мне выдает черный экран и с концами. Как быть?

Ребята, скачайте другую версию игры. Без всякого кряка, котоый уже вшит и проверян. Не тратте время попусту зря. Заодно проверьте дрова на видео и директ.

А у меня вот такая проблема: Установила игру,попыталась запустить,но она не запустилась а выдала вот такую вот ошибку "запуск программы невозможен,так как на компьютере отсутствует d3d3x9_41.dll. Попробуйте переустановить программу." Я попробовала переустановить.но это не помогло. Подскажите,пожалуйста,как решить эту проблему.

Lunatik9, значит надо скачивать полное обновление(примерно100-200MB) там будут все файлы почти за все время и нужный значит тоже.

Ребята, помогите! Скачал эту игру с торрента, установил, включил, чёрный экран и вылетает ошибка что какой то Main Excetable не работает. Друг купил пиратку, у себя установил и мы играем у него, установил у себя, та же фигня. У меня Windows Vista, у друга Windows XP. Что только не делал что бы её запустить, никак не получается. Есть фотограффия ошибки, если надо, скину. Помогите, очень хочется поиграть!

На компе в настройках звука поставить значение 16 бит, 44100Гц.
(в свойствах динамика во вкладке дополнительно)
После этих действий игра стала запускаться.

(У меня Win 7 стоит.)

ребят, обновил директ, обновил дрова, поставил дискретизацию звука, купил игру через стим (лицуха) и все коту под хвост..при запуске появляется окошко, мол приложение будет закрыто, т.е. черный экран, далее логотипы компаний - далее вылет с закрытием программы. Причину не пишет, не могу найти в винде логи ошибок запуска игры. Помогите плз, ребенок уже вынес весь мозг, что хочет поиграть. Система: win 7 x32 ultimate HP (lic.),Intel Pentium DualCore Mobile T4300, 2,10 ГГц, 2048 Gb RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4530, короче ноут HP Pavilion dv6-1310er Entertainment.. я хз че делать. Помогите советом. Заранее спасибо.
