Не многие сейчас смогут вспомнить популярный в начале девяностых ситком «Seinfeld», хотя известные издания и критики признают его даже интересней и смешней легендарных «F.R.I.E.N.D.S». Попытаемся разобраться почему датская компания The Lego Group выпускает набор по этому сериалу именно сейчас, и для кого он вообще предназначен?
Предисловие:
Lego Ideas это серия конструктора Лего, которую создают фанаты. Они придумывают свой набор, выкладывают на специальный сайт, люди голосуют, те работы, которые преодолели планку в 10000 голосов, попадают на стол к строгому жюри, которое обдумывает маркетинговую составляющую, потенциал и выбирает каким наборам быть воплощенными из деталей Лего, а каким нет. Кстати, автор идеи получает % с продаж набора по всему миру.
Должен вам честно и благородно признаться – я никогда ничего не слышал об этом сериале, до выхода данного набора конструктора Лего, поэтому буду знакомиться с ним вместе с написанием статьи.
Разумеется, начинаем с коробки – и тут мы видим множество полезной для нас информации – во-первых это набор №36 из серии «Идеи», во-вторых это довольно большой, коллекционный конструктор, рассчитанный на 18+ (на деле на гораздо старшее поколение, но об этом ниже), и наконец – перед нами очередная студийная квартира из сериала, даже странно!
Сзади на коробке имеются дополнительные изображения набора, еще больше полезной информации и конечно же логотип сериала – «Seinfeld».
Но с чем же мы в конце-концов то имеем дело? Перед нами набор созданный на основе популярного Американского Ситкома (шёл в эфире с 1989 по 1998 год). За это время, у сериала вышло 9 сезонов, а это 180 серий по 21 минуте. Таким образом мы понимаем, что набор предназначен для возраста 35+.
Многие критики, и знатоки сериалов признают его прародителем знаменитых Друзей (F.R.I.E.N.D.S), т.к. многие шутки и ситуации в друзьях взяты именно из «Сайнфелда». Не знаю насколько он актуален сейчас, но опять же различные таблоиды очень высоко оценивают его в своих рейтингах, может стоит посмотреть? Если честно сейчас производят настолько много современных сериалов и различного контента, что всё охватить просто невозможно.
Лицо коллекционного набора – это его минифигурки, и в данном случае мы получаем их в количестве пяти штук. Перед нами слева на право: Ньюмен (главный антагонист сериала), Космо Креймер (эксцентричный сосед из квартиры напротив), Джерри Сайнфелд (главный персонаж сериала, стендап-комик), Джордж Костанза (лучший друг Джерри со школьных времен), и Элейн Бенес (в прошлом близкая подруга главного героя).
Как только я увидел фигурки – я почувствовал негодование, как же так, в таком наборе у двух разных персонажей (Ньюмен и Джордж Костанза) одинаковые лица, что за безобразие такое? Но при близайшем рассмотрении можно увидеть довольно большое количество различий – разные брови, чуть другой рот (у одного персонажа шире), разные очки (у одного круглые, у второго квадратные). Оказывается, на презентации перепутали головы, и одели персонажам одинаковые. Представляете какая оплошность мировой корпорации TLG. Кстати обратите внимание на полное отсутствие принтов на ногах – тоже признак дешевизны фигурок. Коллекционеры очень любят и ценят уникальные штаны с красивыми принтами.
В целом такие наборы призваны сработать ностальгии – увидел кумиров детства/отрочества – купил. Такая система срабатывала с персонажами мультфильма Луни Тюнс (их крутят до сих пор), с сериалом Очень Странные Дела и Друзья, с наборами по фильмам Парк Юрского Периода и Бэтмен, и многими другими наборами. Так должно сработать и с этим, но мне кажется слишком многие не знакомы с сериалом, и набор ожидает финансовый крах и огромные скидки, или я не прав и есть среди моих читателей ярые фанаты?

Background
Seinfeld is an American sitcom television series created by Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld. It aired on NBC from July 5, 1989, to May 14, 1998, over nine seasons and 180 episodes. The show stars Seinfeld as a fictionalized version of himself who is the main protagonist and focuses on his personal life with three of his friends – George Costanza (Jason Alexander), former girlfriend Elaine Benes (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), and neighbor across the hall Cosmo Kramer (Michael Richards). Seinfeld is set mostly in an apartment building in Manhattan's Upper West Side in New York City. It has been described as "a show about nothing", often focusing on the minutiae of daily life.
As a comedian rising in popularity in the late 1980s, Seinfeld was presented with an opportunity to create a show with NBC. Seinfeld asked David, a fellow comedian and friend, to help create a premise for a sitcom. The series was produced by West-Shapiro Productions and Castle Rock Entertainment, and was distributed by Columbia Pictures Television.
A favorite among critics, the series led the Nielsen ratings in seasons six and nine, and finished among the top two (with NBC's ER) every year from 1994 to 1998. Only two other shows have finished their runs at the top of the ratings, I Love Lucy and The Andy Griffith Show.

Featuring Jerry Seinfeld’s apartment, a buildable stage for the stand-up comicand a Festivus polethe set inspires builders to relive the most classic moments from the series.
The highly anticipated set was created by LEGO fan Brent Waller, from Brisbane, Australia, via his submission on the LEGO Ideas® platform, a LEGO initiative that takes new ideas that have been imagined and voted for by fans and turns them into reality.
So, whether you want to re-enact the Story of Festivus, the Wallet Scene or the Fix Up, the set’s intricate props and features transport you directly back to New York in the 90s, enabling you to create your very own Show About Nothing in brick form.
LEGO fan designer, Brent, who is the co-founder of a video games company, loved LEGO as a kid but was re-introduced to it as an adult and combined with his skill as a 3D artist he set about designing his own LEGO creations – including creating the Seinfeld set. Talking about the design, Brent said, “I loved Seinfeld in the 90s and recently re-watched them all. I thought it was a travesty that a LEGO Seinfeld set didn’t exist so I made an effort to resolve that and make the best rendition of Jerry’s Apartment and the gang that I could. The biggest challenge was trying to cram as much detail from the show into the kitchen, all the cupboards, items in the cupboard and on the bench-tops. But I am very proud of how it turned out.”
Some of the instantly recognisable features include: the kitchen with buildable counter, fridge, microwave, oven and more; living room with a sofa; tables; an office; a buildable stage for stand-up comedian Jerry and a Festivus pole, collectively inspiring memories of comical moments from the show’s 180 episodes!
The set features 5 minifigures inspired by the iconic main characters and one notable postal worker from the show; Jerry Seinfeld, George Costanza, Cosmo Kramer, Elaine Benes and Newman are all included decked out in iconic 90s outfits.
