Bonus Level entrances are unmarked and may even be hidden. In some cases you'll need to unlock certain vehicles or characters in order to reach them. However, once you enter a Bonus Level, the characters required to complete it will automatically appear. If you're having trouble finding any of the entrances, check the screenshots below or refer to the Hub Maps.
When you beat each Bonus Level, you'll receive a golden Artifact as a reward. You'll need these, plus the ones in the Treasure Levels, to unlock the Super Bonus Level. (See the Game Intro and Super Bonus Level pages for details.)

Bonus Level 1 - Peru Airport
This level is housed in the hangar at the top of the airfield. To get inside, you'll need a character with Security Clearance, so either the Soldier, Officer, Grenadier or Dovchenko. Use this character to knock at the guardhouse next to the hangar. The guard will peek out to see who's there. As long as you're using one of the military characters, the guard will open the roll-up door and let you in.

Bonus Level 2 - Peruvian Market
The entrance to this bonus level is at the end of the street with the market stalls. To get inside, use Marion to jump onto the ledge on the right. Then jump up to grab the handle that opens the gate.

Bonus Level 3 - Graveyard Tomb
Unlock one of the characters with explosives (i.e., the Russian Officer or Russian Grenadier) and return to the cemetery near the airfield. Blow up the silver door on the right. This is the 3rd Bonus Level entrance.

Bonus Level 4 - Temple Tussle
In order to enter this bonus level you'll need the Cemetery Warrior (see Characters). When you have him, return to the coastal road on the right side of the hub map. The level entrance is on the path running along the left side of the road. Have the Warrior throw a spear into each of the round brackets flanking the doorway. Then hang on each spear to open the door.

Bonus Level 5 - Gorge in the Jungle
The entrance to this level is located on the road near the Super Bonus Level entrance, between the Army Jeep and the crashed airplane. You'll need Indiana Jones to get inside. Use Indy's whip to grab the LEGO statue head on the right side of the decorative archway. Place the head on the small green plate on the left side of the archway. This lowers the spikes so you can enter.

every time i try and launch the game it turns white and says it failed to create d3d device. please help
The creators, in their goodness, offered us to facilitate in the form of codes. To enter them, go to the "Extras" tab in the pause menu, and then "enter code".

Truly a masterclass in gaming history, wouldn't trade the experience and memories i have gotten from this game for the world. The meaning, the motive, drives of each of the many characters is phenomenal. This is the greatest Lego Indiana Jones 2 game of all time.
I bought this game and the controls were awful. If you want to buy this game buy it on a console! If you want to play multiplayer you have to share a keyboard EVEN IF YOUR PLAYING ONLINE! The game IS fun but the controls are awful and make the game really hard to play!
Not sure if this is my absolute favorite LEGO game (I also love LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars to death), but it is arguably the most fun, though I'm not entirely sure why. It's just addicting, wholesome fun. I've played 3+ hours a day on several days recently, which is nearly unprecedented given that my interest in gaming has been waning over the past five years or so. If you can get this on sale, reliving the childhood memories is definitely worth every penny.

After completing all Treasure and Bonus Levels, you will have collected 10 Artifacts. These can be found at the marina at bottom of the map. Smash the golden treasure chests to get 10 piles of LEGO pieces . Starting with the pile at the left end of the horseshoe-shaped dock, use the bits to build a crazy contraption on the dock in the center. Pull the lever to turn on the electricity and open the contraption.
Follow the gray walkway out onto the dock and purchase the Bicycle for 7,000 studs. Hop on and pedal forward onto the grate with air blowing up out of it. The breeze will lift the bike into the air, carrying you into the Super Bonus Level.

Collect 10 Artifacts by beating all the Treasure and Bonus Levels in this hub.
Smash the golden treasure chests.
Pull the lever to turn on the power.
Ride forward onto the vent.
The level itself looks like a peaceful LEGO neighborhood with houses, roads, trees, vehicles, etc. The only goal in the Super Bonus Level is to collect 1,000,000 studs. So explore everywhere and smash everything that will break. Some suggestions:
- Take your time on the first run-through. Once you know where all the studs are you can try to go faster the next time.
- Some objects can only be smashed by vehicles. So use the hotrod to drive around and gather studs more quickly.
- Attacking with Indy's whip can also smash small objects like flowers and trees.
- Once you've collected 400,000 studs, the blue steps on the right turn into a ramp so you can jump one of the cars onto the upper level. You should find enough studs there to complete the level.
Once you've reached 1,000,000 studs, the level ends. Later you can replay the level—either from the hub map or the Super Bonus Level playset—and try to gather the million studs faster. The game keeps track of your best time. . . and you get to keep the studs you've earned to buy characters, vehicles and Extras.
The entrance to the next unplayed Story Level is almost always marked by a big green arrow. Sometimes the entrance is obvious. Sometimes you'll need to do something special in order to access it. If you're having trouble finding the next level entrance, check the screenshots below or refer to the Hub Maps.

Story Level 1 - Peru Cell Perusal
The sanitarium where Indy and Mutt hope to find Harold Oxley is located at the bottom of the airstrip. The entrance is in the back. So go into the alley with the market stalls at the left side of the airstrip, but instead of heading up the alley toward the white gate, go through the open gate and around to the lower right. The door with the red and yellow awning is where you're headed.
Story Level 2 - Tomb Doom
After escaping from the asylum, you emerge back on the hub map in the graveyard below the airfield. Push the carved monument along the checkerboard tiles until it sinks into a hole, allowing you to pass. Pull the lever to lower the fence so you can get back to the airfield later. Then continue to the right and use Indy's whip to pull the orange ring and open the shed door. Inside you'll find a shovel . Go down the steps on the left and dig in the sparkling patches on the ground. You'll need to dig several times to unearth the tomb entrance.
Push the monument into the hole so you can
walk over it.
Pull the lever to lower the fence. Later you'll return to the airfield this way.
Take the shovel you find inside.
Go through the archway into the tomb.
Story Level 3 - Mac Attack
Head to the lower right corner of the cemetery and cross the narow land bridge above the river. Now that Indy has the Crystal Skull, the swarm of bugs on the path ahead will avoid him. Pick up the wheel and insert it into the red block. Jump on top of it to blow up the dynamite, shifting the boulders off the path. Move down into the camp and enter the tent with the green arrow to start the level.

Story Level 4 - Rainforest Rumble
After completing the previous Story Level, you'll unlock Marion. Move to the right side of the camp and find the swirling flower icon on the ground. Double jump here to reach the ledge above. Grab the box of bits , hop back down and drop the box on the green pad next to the Jungle Cutter. Use the bits to repair the vehicle and you'll be able to unlock it. Get in and drive down the road to the left. The cutter will make short work of the palm trees blocking the way. Cointinue down and around to the right. The green arrow points the way.
Use Marion to reach the box of bits on the ledge, which you'll need to repair the Jungle Cutter.
Drive out the left side of the camp. The Cutter will take care of the trees blocking the way.
Story Level 5 - Dovchenko Duel
You'll need Oxley to access the last Story Level. From the previous level's exit, follow the road to the left. Then head down toward the beach. Smash the box of bananas and pick up the single banana left behind. The Crystal Skull that Oxley now holds will repel the ants as you move along the road to the left. Throw the banana to the monkey sitting in the tree on the other side of the pit. The monkey will throw back a golden key . Use it to turn the mechanism and raise the floor of the pit so you can cross. Continue through the archway with the green arrow.
Smash the box of bananas to get one of them.
Trade the banana to the monkey for a key.
