Оригинальный пост (24 марта): Когда в середине февраля компания LEGO представила новинки Jurassic World, которые выйдут в апреле, еще отсутствовали изображения и официальная информация о самом крупном из игровых наборов LEGO 76949 «Атака гиганотозавра и теризинозавра». Сейчас некоторые экземпляры набора поступили в продажу преждевременно, поэтому у нас есть первые фотографии коробки и, прежде всего, двух новых динозавров, которые в ней содержатся.
Помимо одноименных динозавров, в набор входит двухэтажный исследовательский центр, L-образная структура которого чем-то напоминает нынешнюю школу LEGO City, т.е. он имеет только две стены или оконные фасады и в остальном открыт сзади. Вертолет футуристического вида с местом для одного человека может приземлиться на небольшую платформу на крыше, а в качестве дополнительного транспортного средства прилагается квадроцикл. Завершает набор приподнятая смотровая площадка на столбе, который будет доступен с 17 апреля вместе с остальными новинками. Как и все наборы, этот основан на фильме «Мир Юрского периода 3: Новая эра» чей релиз запланирован на 9 июня 2022 года и в начале которого вы также сможете впервые взглянуть на шаблон Гиганотозавра.

Новые динозавры: Гиганотозавр и Теризинозавр.
Оба включенных динозавра новые, но частично используют существующие детали. Например, компания LEGO использовала обычные руки и ноги тираннозавра, а также голову и хвост индоминуса рекса для гиганотозавра (учёные до сих пор спорят о том, был ли он больше или меньше). В то время как все части являются новыми с точки зрения цвета и печати, новая форма используется только для тела, которое имеет высокие остистые отростки на позвонках — интересная деталь, которой более известен спинозавр. Теризинозавр (или «ящер с косой») немного напоминает LEGO Индераптора или Барионикса, с которым у него общее тело, хвост и ноги. Голова и шея, с другой стороны, имеют новую форму, как и руки, к которым длинные когти, давшие имя этому динозавру, прикрепляются к форме обычных элементов LEGO. В целом форма динозавра мало соответствует реконструкциям, которые можно найти в сети. Там животное обычно изображают с гораздо более массивным телом и к тому же крупнее.

Jurassic World is a theme introduced in May 2015 to coincide with the Jurassic World film. The sets are based on the Jurassic Park franchise. The theme was reintroduced in May 2018 to coincide with the second film Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, with sets inspired by the animated series Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous and based on the upcoming third film Jurassic World: Dominion with only two sets so far based on the original Jurassic Park.

Universal Partnerships & Licensing (UP&L) today announced that The LEGO Group will create original LEGO®products in conjunction with the release of Jurassic World, the long-awaited next installment in Steven Spielberg’s groundbreaking film series that will be released on June 12, 2015. The LEGO Group’s participation rounds out an overall branded toy campaign designed to bring the action, adventure, and excitement of the film to audiences around the world alongside global master toy licensee Hasbro. The toys will be available in May 2015. The announcement was made by UP&L President Stephanie Sperber and Jill Wilfert, vice president of global licensing and entertainment for The LEGO Group.
“Jurassic Park defined dinosaurs for an entire generation 20 years ago, and Jurassic World will do the same in 2015,” said Sperber. “Working with LEGO Group to bring this classic into the present in dynamic and exciting ways is truly thrilling.”
“We are thrilled to be a part of the groundbreaking Jurassic Park series,” said Wilfert. “The film’s imagery and branding are iconic, with a rich array of landscapes, vehicles, and dinosaurs that are perfect for inspiring a line of building sets that will encourage hours of creative play.”
Games
LEGO Jurassic World is a video game released alongside the movie Jurassic World and uses several characters featured in the LEGO Jurassic World sets.
Escape the Indoraptor is an online game released in conjunction with the Fallen Kingdom film.
Animation
Two animated specials-The Indominus Escape and The Secret Exhibit-and an animated series-Legend of Isla Nublar-have been produced in association with the theme.
