Nintendo and LEGO team up to deliver three Luigi's Mansion expansion sets meant to be used in tandem with the hit LEGO Mario line.

Founded in 1889, Nintendo attained recognition in Japan with its handmade hanafuda cards, eventually expanding into the wider world of children’s toys. The mid-80s would see business boom internationally thanks to the Famicom video game console, known as the Nintendo Entertainment System overseas. Nintendo would shift its focus almost entirely to the publication of digital entertainment from that point, but its recent collaboration with LEGO returned physical toys to the forefront, with the newest expansion set in the collection debuting on January 1, 2022.

A set of LEGO buildables based on the Luigi’s Mansion games are now available that expand on the LEGO Luigi Starter Kit that debuted in 2021. The Haunt-and-Seek Expansion Set includes LEGO versions of Toad and King Boo along with two other generic ghost enemies, and it features interactive elements like a rotating hallway, a battle with a haunted pool table, a portrait that can trap Mario and friends, and, of course, a showdown with the subseries’ spectral antagonist.

Also available are the Entryway and Lab and Poltergust sets, the former including an interactive mansion door alongside the characters Polterpup and Bogmire, and the latter including Professor E. Gadd and a costume for Luigi which comes equipped with the iconic ghost-grabbing tool from the Luigi’s Mansion games.

While assembling these sets is certainly part of the fun, the LEGO Luigi’s Mansion expansion—as with all sets in the recent Nintendo LEGO series—is meant to be played with. Builders can steer LEGO Luigi through the course, collecting gems and bashing boos along the way. The overall objective is to get as many gems as possible in 90 seconds, and visual and audio effects emitted from the Luigi figure’s speakers and LED screens give the overall experience a distinct Mario Bros. feel.

Retailing for just shy of $80, the Luigi's Mansion Haunt-and-Seek Expansion Set is one of the pricier ancillary sets in LEGO’s new product line. The Lab and Poltergust and Entryway sets are slightly less expensive, retailing for $30 and $40, respectively. Of course, the total for all three sets amounts to 150 dollars, which isn’t an insignificant asking price.

That said, these releases are often sought-after collector’s items that are quickly either sold out or retired, and, given that they work with the other sets in the LEGO Mario series, this newest installment could significantly add to any enthusiast’s LEGO adventure. When combined with the other Luigi’s Mansion sets, there’s quite a lot of content on offer, likely requiring several hours of build-time depending on skill level.

I won’t come up against much opposition when I say the LEGO® Super Mario™ sets are God-tier. Bringing the iconic classics and new release games to life in the real world is a thrill that’s unmatched for Mario fans (I can personally vouch for that fact), whether they’re small children or adults who grew up with the games.

But now we have a new range of sets to get giddy over, with the release of LEGO Super Mario Luigi’s Mansion sets. That’s right, it’s time for Luigi to have his moment in the sun — and we are so ready for it.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 was released onto the Nintendo Switch in 2019 and, if you ask me, my seven-year-old nephews, or my 30-year-old partner — it’s the best game to be released into the Luigi’s Mansion franchise yet. The adventures in Luigi’s Mansion 3 have a distinctly spooky edge, with you (playing as Luigi) and your trusty sidekick in Gooigi taking on ghostbusters-style missions to expel the ghosts from the haunted mansion with your trusty Poltergust to take down King Boo.

The LEGO Super Mario Luigi’s Mansion sets are an extension of these games and bring the best of the classic Super Mario games and the fun puzzles of the Luigi’s Mansion games into the real world. Instead of Gooigi acting as Luigi’s sidekick, it’ll be you and your family all joining forces to take on the bad guys through interactive sets.

If you’re already aboard the LEGO Super Mario bandwagon, this is a great next step, with brand new light-up blocks and characters, plus sound effects, and physical challenges you need to work through together. Here are the sets you should look out for.

LEGO Super Mario Luigi’s Mansion Adventures With Luigi Starter Set

The LEGO Super Mario, Adventures with Luigi Starter Set ($89.99) is the logical first Luigi’s Mansion set to invest in. The box comes with 280 pieces, and interactive building instructions are available through the LEGO Super Mario app. This particular set gives you the electric Luigi figure that lights up and has in-built speakers for peak interactivity, plus a Pink Yoshi, and bad guys, Bone Goomba and Boom Boom. There are also spinning, seesawing, and flying challenges to be built.

The LEGO Super Mario Luigi’s Mansion Haunt-and-Seek Expansion Set ($119.99) levels up the Starter Set in a big way, with more characters, bad guys, and challenges. In this 877-piece set, Toad is trapped in a painting, and it’s your job as Luigi to defeat the ghosts and collect three hidden gems along the way — all to topple King Boo and save Toad.

The LEGO Super Mario Luigi’s Mansion Entryway ($59.99) is the front door to the haunted mansion, which is the logical place to start your adventure. This set includes three LEGO Super Mario characters — Polterpup, Bogmire, and a Boo — plus a Golden Bone for Polterpup, and a shadow ball to take down Bogmire.

In Luigi’s Mansion 3, it’s Professor E. Gadd who hands you the Poltergust and sends you out into the haunted mansion to take down the ghosts. In the LEGO Super Mario Luigi’s Mansion Lab and Poltergust ($39.99), you’ll get all the tools you need to complete your challenge, like the Poltergust, lab machine, potions, plus a toolbox and a gold ghost. Of course, Profession E. Gadd is also included in this set, too.

LEGO just revealed the sets for Luigi's Mansion which is part of the Super Mario universe. GOOD GOD, THEY LOOK AMAZING! King Boo as a LEGO? Nice. Hope they make more sets of these in the near future. What's next? Wario Land?

Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight Trailer

So we're getting a new Kung Fu Panda series on Netflix. Amazing. Pretty intense. This is the third time DreamWorks Animation made a series based on Kung Fu Panda and Jack Black is reprising his role as Po instead of Mick Wingert. The series follows Po as he must leave his home behind and embark on a globe-trotting quest for redemption and justice that finds him partnered up with a no-nonsense English knight known as the Wandering Blade. I wonder where the Furious Five and Shifu would be. They didn't appear in Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny. I hope they would make an appearance in some point of the series like they did in Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness. The series come out in July 14, 2022.

There is a update I need to make regarding on my schedule. You know me as the user that post drawings and stamps every day and fanfictions and memes once a day. You give me requests once in a while to make your requests, right? As for now, I will no longer be doing requests at this time. You know some users on this site don't open requests to everyone where people can request at the same time to get their requests on time like commissions. Some users open requests for everyone to make a request at the same time. For years, I've been getting requests on stamps regarding on off-topics and topics I'm not familiar with or games I've never played or shows and movies I never heard of or watched them. And some drawing requests of characters I have a tend to dislike or don't care about. Thank god I finally closed them down and now I can make whatever I want in my free time without being tell what to do. At least, you can still give me ideas on drawings, stamps and stories if you want, but

The End of Internet Explorer

This is the end you guys. Microsoft has pulled the plug on Internet Explorer after 26 years. The Windows 11 update ended support for Internet Explorer. You always remember that browser that runs smoothly, but in later updates, it tends to run slowly as time goes by. Microsoft is committed to support Internet Explorer that way to 2029 at least, with a one-year notice before it is discontinued. We will miss Internet Explorer as the browser that used to pop up in the early Windows computers. The browser will be missed.:(
