Doctor Strange does not play a role in the story. In Dormammu. He enlists the help of Invisible Woman and Human Torch to free him, and together they fight and defeat Dormammu.
History
Doctor Stephen Strange was an expert surgeon with a massive ego, but when his ability to use his hands was taken from him in an automobile accident, Strange fell into depression and journeyed to Tibet in search of a mystic called the Ancient One, whom he believed could repair his hands. Instead, Strange was instructed in the art of sorcery as the Ancient One's pupil, and with emergent enlightenment came renewed use of his hands. By this point though, Strange had given up on his former life and, after rescuing his mentor from an assassination attempt by practitioner of the dark arts Baron Mordo, succeeded the Ancient One as the Earth's Sorcerer Supreme. But with that title comes a plethora of vile wizards and monsters to face, among them the demons Dormammu and Nightmare, so life is not always easy for Doctor Strange, who usually resides in the Sanctum Sanctorum in Greenwich Village.

Background
A car accident left Stephen Strange unable to operate. He then went to seek out someone known as the Ancient One, who restored his ability to operate and taught him the mystic arts. Stephen then became Dr. Strange, Marvel's sorcerer supreme and a protector to mankind. His arch-enemy is Dormammu.

In the bonus level "Stranger Danger," he works with Human Torch and Invisible Woman and fights Dormammu.

Stephen Strange was a brilliant yet arrogant neurosurgeon, however he suffered a car accident that had resulted in his hands being crippled. When Western medicine failed to restore his hands, Strange embarked on a journey that led him to the discovery of Mystic Arts and alternate dimensions, being trained by the Ancient One and Karl Mordo. Though his focus was healing his hands, Strange learned more about the mystic arts and soon helped the Masters prevent Kaecilius and the Zealots from merging Earth with the Dark Dimension, but not before witnessing the death of the Ancient One. With the demise of his mentor, Strange then became the protector of the Sanctum Sanctorum in New York City as well as Earth's protector from inter-dimensional threats.

Второе поколение фигурок Стрэнджа использует специальную пластиковую деталь плаща, прикрепляемую поверх шеи. Выражения лица стали несколько более оживлёнными, а цвета костюма - ярче. Версия по фильму "В мультивселенной безумия" отличается узором из комиксов с красными контурами, ожерелье поднято к шее, на поясе видно кольцо для порталов.
