Компания LEGO объявила о планах запустить новый видеосервис с элементами дополненной реальности под названием Vidiyo. Он позволит создавать собственные музыкальные клипы и танцевальные видео, применять различные эффекты к ним и делиться полученными результатами с друзьями. По сути, это будет новая социальная платформа, очень похожая на TikTok, но нацеленная прежде всего на детей младшего возраста. В связи с этим компания обещает строгую модерацию контента.
Чтобы создать ролик в Vidiyo, пользователям нужно будет загрузить приложение и выбрать музыкальный трек. Производитель детского конструктора сотрудничает с Universal Music Group, поэтому на выбор будет представлено большое количество популярных композиций реальных исполнителей, таких как 5 Seconds of Summer, Imagine Dragons, Marshmello и других. Но чтобы стать звездой Vidiyo, танцевать на камеру не нужно. Вместо этого пользователи должны сканировать фигурки LEGO на фоне плиток BeatBit — крошечных кубиков, которые активируют различные AR-эффекты в приложении. Кстати, управление приложением также будет происходить при помощи настоящих кубиков LEGO.
Прежде чем ролики будут загружены на платформу, они пройдут модерацию. Любой контент, содержащий личную информацию, включая появление людей в кадре, опубликован не будет. Такие ролики останутся в приложении, их можно будет пересматривать и сохранять локально.
Осталось много информации, которую LEGO ещё не раскрыла о своём новом сервисе, например, стоимость наборов с фигурками. Компания пообещала рассказать подробности в преддверии запуска LEGO Vidiyo, который состоится 1 марта.
