Chapter 1: Night of the Lizard: Spider-Man's greatest foes are in prison, when suddenly, the Green Goblin frees them. The first villain Spider-Man has to deal with is the Lizard, who plans to turn the people of New York into lizard cross-species like him. Note: This chapter is loosley based on The Amazing Spider-Man film.
- Level 1: Bridge Attack: The Lizard tests his cross-species formula on some citizens he kidnapped and goes with them to attack the Williamsberg Bridge to test out their power. Now Spider-Man and Black Cat must stop them.
- Level 2: Into the Sewers: Spider-Man and Black Cat follow Lizard back to his lab in the sewers where they must fight him and his cross species, Nattie.
- Level 3: Wrath of the Cross-Species: Lizard Plans to use an Oscop device to turn everyone in New York into Cross-Species, but he first needs to distract Spider-Man and his allies, so he gathers an army of Lizard Cross-Species and has his most powerful Cross-Species, Vermin, lead them into New York to create a distraction for Spider-Man.
- Level 4: Oscorp: Spider-Man and his allies have stopped the Cross-Species army, but must now stop Lizard and the remaining Cross-Species from turning everyone in New York into Cross-Species.
- Level 5: Oscorp Rooftop: Spider-Man's final battle with the Lizard and his Cross-Species has begun. Now Spider-Man and the others must defeat Lizard and destroy the Oscorp device he plans to use to infect the city.

Chapter 1: Wrath of the Lizard: Spider-Man's greatest foes are in prison, when suddenly, the reptilian scientist Lizard is able to deactivate Rhino's collar and frees all of the villains. The first villain Spider-Man has to deal with is the Lizard, who plans to turn the people of New York into cross-species like him. Note: This chapter is loosely based on The Amazing Spider-Man film.
- Level 1: Bridge Attack: The Lizard tests his cross-species formula on some citizens he kidnapped and goes with them to attack the Williamsberg Bridge to test out their power. Now Spider-Man must stop him.
- Level 2: Into the Sewers: Spider-Man and a team of police officers follow Lizard back to his lab in the sewers, forcing Lizard to retreat with his minion Iguana and Symbiotic villain Venom.
- Level 3: Attack of the Cross-Species: Lizard Plans to use an Oscorp device to turn everyone in New York into Cross-Species, but he first needs to distract Spider-Man and the police, so he gathers an army of Lizard Cross-Species and has his most powerful Cross-Species, Vermin, lead them into New York to create a distraction for Spider-Man.
- Level 4: Oscorp: Spider-Man has stopped the Cross-Species army with the help of the SWAT Team, but Lizard is making his way to the roof to put his plan into action.
- Level 5: Oscorp Rooftop: Spider-Man's final battle with the Lizard and his Cross-Species has begun. Now Spider-Man and Human Torch must defeat Lizard and destroy the Oscorp device he plans to use to infect everyone in the city.
- Level 6: A giant Lizard Bot: Lizard's machine is finally destroyed, however, he has a backup plan. Now Spider-Man and the others must stop the Lizard from activating his giant, Lizard mech suit, which he plans to use to destroy Spider-Man and New York.

In the vein of the series' adaptations of franchises like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Harry Potter, LEGO Spider-Man adapts the stories of multiple Spider-Man films spanning two decades' worth of history - specifically, Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, the Amazing Spider-Man films, the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Homecoming trilogy, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Venom, and Venom: Let There Be Carnage, with the Venom films being combined as one story in order to balance content and action in levels with the other films.

Gameplay
Gameplay of LEGO Spider-Man takes a lot of cues from the Spider-Man PS4/PS5 video game series and LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. While playing through a level in Story Mode, the player will be able to take control of Spider-Man, along with other characters depending on the situation, and explore the environment around them to accomplish the level's primary tasks. Side missions are also available for the player to complete, and after finishing the main tasks in the level, they have the option to either continue to explore the level's environment to clear side missions.
When the game is launched for the first time, the player will begin in the game's hub world, consisting of the Sanctum Sanctorum as well as an open-world New York City surrounding it. In the Sanctum Sanctorum, there are ten frames for portals, representing the following movies (with the heads of their respective villains on posters above the portals):
- Spider-Man (2002) - Green Goblin
- Spider-Man 2 - Doctor Octopus
- Spider-Man 3 - Venom (Raimiverse)
- The Amazing Spider-Man - Lizard
- The Amazing Spider-Man 2 - Electro
- Spider-Man: Homecoming - Vulture
- Spider-Man: Far From Home - Mysterio
- Spider-Man: No Way Home - Green Goblin (NWH appearance)
- Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse - Kingpin
- Venom 1+2 (Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage) - Carnage
Spider-Man 2002, The Amazing Spider-Man, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and Venom 1+2 are available from the start, with the other five movies needing to be unlocked by progressing through the stories of their respective universes. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse - Part One and Part Two are currently planned as DLC stories and will be available after the release of each part.
The game's playable roster consists not only of characters from all the movies, but also related MCU characters in the case of the Homecoming trilogy and a wide variety of miscellaneous characters pulled from the Spider-Man franchise's long history in comics, television, etc.

Во время прохождения уровней вам будут мешать различного рода препятствия, а так же естественные враги Человека Паука. Если препятствия можно обойти, перепрыгнув, сделав подкат или перелетев с помощью паутины, то с врагами такое не прокатит, навредить вы им тоже не сможете, вам остается лишь переждать, пока они сами устанут вас преследовать.

Геймплей
Главное задание – это пробежать как можно больший километраж. Поначалу вы сможете увидеть подсказки (это будут стрелки красного цвета), которые помогут разобраться в самом процессе игры. И если преграды достаточно перепрыгнуть или перелететь, то с соперниками подобные фокусы не прокатят.
