Эвоки - мохнатые двуногие существа, рост которых не превышает 1 метра. Их родной планетой является спутник Эндора, покрытый густыми лесами, напоминающими земные. Эвоки отличаются огромным любопытством и изобретательностью. Для охоты и сражений они применяют примитивное оружие: копья, пращи и ножи, но могут быстро обучиться работе с более сложными устройствами. Для защиты своих поселений они используют катапульты или сети-ловушки. У эвоков большие блестящие глаза и маленький чёрный нос, позволяющие видеть и слышать намного лучше человека, а так же прекрасно ориентироваться в непроходимых лесах. Имея на руках всего три пальца, они прекрасно лазают по деревьям и управляются с оружием.
Из деталей набор Лего 10236 можно построить не только настоящую деревню эвоков, но и разыграть сценки из киносаги Звёздные войны Эпизод VI: Возвращение джедая.
Специальный отряд, состоящий из Хана Соло, принцессы Леи, Чубакки и Люка Скайуокера, высадился на спутник Эндора. Но, неожиданно для самих себя, герои попали в ловушку, расставленную эвоками в лесу, и стали пленниками. События могли бы получить весьма драматический поворот, если бы не дроид C-3PO. Эвоки никогда прежде не видели таких существ и, приняв его за своего Золотого бога, решили принести ему в жертву остальных участников отряда. Но, Люк Скайуокер смог воспользоваться Силой и убедить эвоков в необходимости освобождения всех пленников. Позднее C-3PO окончательно расположил к себе мохнатых воинов и они приняли участников отряда в своё племя.

Ewoks!
Having a small boy has allowed my wife and I to relive our Lego years and our Star Wars years. This caps our collection. It's a huge effort for the three of us to build and a lot of fun to play around with when finished. Easily the biggest kit we've ever had, it provides a nice set to play with in its own right and becomes a cool backdrop for our other Lego Star Wars kits. The set and gives us all the right characters to move around and act out parts of the story. It's proving to be a lot of fun.
