Lego star wars planets

Обновлено: 24.04.2024

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga features an impressive list of open world planets, but some places from the films are missing from the galaxy map.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is TT Games' most ambitious LEGO game yet, but despite covering all nine Skywalker Saga films, it appears that some planets from them didn't make it onto the galaxy map. While fans of the Star Wars franchise are eagerly awaiting the release of several new Star Wars games, such as the High Republic-set Star Wars Eclipse, many are looking to the upcoming LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga as their next chance to travel to a galaxy far, far away. As a retelling of the nine films in the Skywalker Saga (leaving out The Clone Wars, Rogue One, and Solo: A Star Wars Story) in tiny brick form, it should be a great way for players to experience their favorite moments from each of the nine films in a game that is not only family-friendly, but clearly built with hardcore fans in mind as well.

A recent trailer for the next LEGO Star Wars not only showed off some of the amazing new gameplay features and location designs, but also revealed several interesting tidbits of information that fans can obsess over. One of the most telling bits was the revelation of LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga's in-game galaxy map, which showed off all 24 planets that players can travel to. Each of these planets acts as a hub world of sorts, where players can free-roam, explore the planet and solve various puzzles to unlock new features. While the vast majority of the planets from the nine films do appear on the galaxy map, there are a few notable exceptions (and a few that may be less notable) that sadly didn't make the cut.

That being said, just because a planet doesn't appear on the galaxy map, doesn't mean it won't appear in-game at all. The galaxy map only displays the planets that will be available to players to explore in the free roam mode. Like all the original LEGO Star Wars games, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will feature replayable missions in addition to the free roam mode, which will take players through a more linear section of the story. These sections will likely utilize at least some of the locations that don't appear in the game's free roam mode, including certain space stations that don't appear on the game's galaxy map. Still, there are other locations that likely won't make it into the game, especially if its role in the story was brief or lacked impact.

Alderaan & Hosnian Prime Won't Be In LEGO Skywalker Saga

Alderaan and Hosnian Prime are two very important planets in Star Wars lore that viewers see very little of in their respective films. This is due to each planet being destroyed as a major part of the plot. Despite not appearing in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga's gameplay trailers, Alderaan is a planet known to even the most casual Star Wars fans. This is due to the extremely memorable scene in Star Wars: A New Hope where Alderaan is completely destroyed as a demonstration of the Death Star's terrifying powers. Despite never showing the planet's surface in A New Hope, much of the plot revolves around Alderaan. It is the homeworld of Leia Organa, whose father, Bail Organa, is an influential leader in the rebellion. The planet later reappears in the prequel film, Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, when Senator Bail Organa brings home an infant Leia to his wife. It is here that viewers get to see that Alderaan is a beautiful planet with sweeping mountainscapes.

Hosnian Prime plays an important, albeit minor, role in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, and might appear in a cutscene in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga's sequel trilogy section. After the war with the Empire ended, Hosnian Prime became the capital of the New Republic, and the home of the new galactic senate. In The Force Awakens, Hosnian Prime is one of the planets that is obliterated by Starkiller Base in an attempt to wipe out the New Republic and plunge the galaxy into chaos. Hosnian Prime originally played a larger role in The Force Awakens' story, with a side-plot featuring Resistance Commander Korr Sella trying to convince the New Republic senate to take action against the First Order. Unfortunately, the scenes were cut from the final film, and Korr Sella is only briefly seen on a balcony on Hosnian Prime as the planet is destroyed.

Revenge Of The Sith Planets Missing From LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith introduced viewers to several new planets that were key battleground zones in the Clone Wars. With LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga's improved combat mechanics, these battles could be a lot of fun to relive. Sadly, it's unlikely that many of these planets will appear, due to the small role they played in the film's overall narrative. In particular, the planets where the key Jedi were killed during the Order 66 scene do not appear in the in-game galaxy map.

Arguably the most popular of these is Felucia, a jungle planet where Jedi Master Aayla Secura is killed by her own battalion of Clone Troopers. The planet has been featured in The Clone Wars show and has appeared in several video games, most recently in Star Wars Battlefront 2. Mygeeto is another planet that has appeared in video games before. This battleground zone is the location where Jedi Master Ki-Adi Mundi was killed during Order 66.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga's impressive vehicle roster could have made Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith's Cato Neimodia scene a lot of fun to play. In this scene, Jedi Master Plo Koon is leading an aerial assault on the planet Cato Neimodia, a colony planet of the Neimodians and the primary base of operations of the Trade Federation. The beautiful planet was known for its "Bridge Cities" and it was above one of these cities that Plo Koon is unfortunately shot down by his own troopers during Order 66. Saleucami is another planet shown in the film during Order 66. It is on this desert planet that Stass Allie is betrayed by her troopers. While these planets are only briefly explored in the film, their importance in the Clone Wars makes them big points of interest for fans that would have been exciting to explore in the game.

LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga Skips Some Episode IX Planets

The list of locations in The Skywalker Saga may not include some minor locations from Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker. Early in the film, Finn and Poe visit the Sinta Glacier, a location that houses the Sinta Glacier colony, in order to meet with a miner who has been supplying information to the Resistance. When they are chased by the First Order, Poe Dameron hyperspace skips through several locations before losing the First Order in the Megafauna Chasm of the Typhonic Nebula. Only one of the locations he skips to is on a planet, that being Ivexia, which is famous for its Mirror-Spires. Sadly, neither the Sinta Glacier nor Ivexia appear on the galaxy map, though they may feature in a mission during the Rise of Skywalker storyline.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is finally here and it’s without question one of the biggest games in the Lego series. There are a total of 24 different planets in the galaxy, but that’s not what makes The Skywalker Saga so massive. In the majority of these planets, each has its own sandbox-type open world to explore.

There are many different environments in the game, including those that recreate iconic locations from the films. But with 24 different planets in the game, which are the best? Let’s jump in our starship and search the galaxy far, far away for the best planets in The Skywalker Saga.

7 Mustafar

Located in the Outer Rim, the fiery planet of Mustafar served as the metaphorical birthplace of Darth Vader. Important as it is, Mustafar is a relatively small area in The Skywalker Saga. The only area to explore is the Mining Complex where Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi fought in Revenge of the Sith, but the blackened red sky looks amazing in the game.

There are three levels in the Mining Complex to explore for various Studs and 23 Kyber Bricks to search for. You can also find a few droid speeders to cruise around the complex. But because there isn’t much surface area, it’s quite easy to fall off the edge into the lava below.

6 D’Qar

While many might have complaints about the sequel trilogy, those movies did expand the galaxy and introduce new planets, including D’Qar. This lush, forested world is located in the Outer Rim in the Ileenium system and is the headquarters of the Resistance base in The Rise of Skywalker.

With only 19 Kyber Bricks, D’Qar has one of the lowest amounts of any planet in the game. However, don’t let that stop you from exploring the beautiful environment. D’Qar’s setting is similar to Endor, minus the furry warrior creatures everywhere.

5 Naboo

Home to Queen Amidala, Naboo was a largely peaceful planet until the Separatists invaded with their droid army in The Phantom Menace. There was some friction between the Naboo people on the surface and the Gungans who lived underwater, but when the Separatists invaded, the two groups put aside their differences and united to fight the common enemy.

Naboo is a unique planet in The Skywalker Saga, as you can explore both the surface of Theed and the Gungan home of Lake Paonga. The actual planet on the surface looks similar to Earth, with green foliage growing and various bodies of water. Naboo has a total of 53 Kyber Bricks between Theed and Lake Paonga, the third-highest amount of Kyber Bricks on a planet.

4 Dagobah

The swamp-laden world of Dagobah was Master Yoda’s planet of choice for his exile following his failure to stop Darth Sidious in Revenge of the Sith. Why Yoda didn’t just continue fighting the Emperor after falling to the Senate floor remains a mystery, but regardless, the Jedi Master chose this quagmire of a planet for his home.

Surprisingly, Dagobah is even smaller than Mustafar. With only 15 Kyber Bricks on the planet to find, Dagobah has the lowest amount of Kyber Bricks of any planet in the game. Although Dagobah is pretty tiny compared to every other planet, it’s home to one of the most iconic scenes of the original trilogy with Luke confronting his Dark Side and “fighting” Darth Vader.

3 Ahch-To

Among the 24 planets in The Skywalker Saga, Ahch-To is simply breathtaking. While many locations in The Skywalker Saga look very much like their movie counterparts, Ahch-To is arguably the best-looking area in the game.

The only area you can explore is Temple Island where Luke Skywalker exiled himself after the incident with Ben Solo at his new Jedi Academy. The island is fairly small with 21 Kyber Bricks to find, but the lush foliage of the island pops out on the screen. Not to mention the furry little Porgs roaming around and the Bantha that produce Luke’s blue milk.

2 Coruscant

The home of the Senate, Coruscant is arguably the most important planet featured in the prequels. And in The Skywalker Saga, the planet houses a whopping 67 Kyber Bricks, good for the second-most in the game.

There are two areas to explore on Coruscant: the Federal District and the Uscru District. The Federal District is where you’d find the Senate, while the Uscru District is mostly where the common people live. If you recall the scene in Attack of the Clones when Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi chased a would-be assassin — that’s the Uscru District.

1 Tatooine

There are three distinct areas to explore on Tatooine: Jundland Wastes, Mos Espa, and Mos Eisley. Jundland Wastes is where Luke lived, Mos Espa is where Anakin lived, and Mos Eisley is home to the Cantina where Luke and Obi-Wan found Han Solo and Chewbacca. Although Tatooine isn’t the prettiest planet in The Skywalker Saga, it has the most to offer by far and earns the title of being the best planet in the game.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has 24 planets to explore throughout the galaxy, as well as a few smaller locations such as Star Destroyers.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga released a new trailer during Gamescom 2021, and it revealed a sneak peek at the massive map of the galaxy. This game is shaping up to be one of the largest Lego titles to date, with 300 playable Star Wars characters and 24 explorable planets. Fans will be able to begin at any of the three trilogies they want, meaning they can start playing the Sequel Trilogy before playing the Original or Prequels.

While it has yet to be confirmed just how massive these locations are, it was revealed that each planet (or explorable location such as the Death Star) has its own area to explore. Many of these planets will be Hub Worlds in which players can spend some downtime. Each location also includes a variety of challenges to complete like races and dog fights.

Since Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga lets players begin their adventure from any Saga, some planets may not be available right away. So, for those who are looking forward to exploring Coruscant, it may be best to start with the Prequel Trilogy.

Prequel Trilogy Planets In Lego Star War: The Skywalker Saga

The Prequel Trilogy planets will contain seven planets from the whole Skywalker Saga with Kashyyk and Utapau being two of many planets Star Wars fans can't wait to explore. While most planets will take place on land, Naboo may incorporate the underwater Gungan city, Otoh Gunga. A scene in the trailer shows the scene of Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Jar Jar escaping the giant fish underwater. It's hard to tell if this will just be part of the story level or just another place to explore while on Naboo. Here are all the confirmed explorable planets for the Prequel Trilogy:

  • Naboo
  • Coruscant
  • Kamino
  • Geonosis
  • Utapau
  • Kashyyyk
  • Mustafar

Original Trilogy Planets In Lego Star War: The Skywalker Saga

As for the Original Trilogy, players will get to see six planets make an appearance in the new Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. These six planets are some of the most classic locations many fans have come to know and love:

The Death Star has been confirmed as another location, but it doesn’t appear on the Galaxy Map in the new trailer, so it likely only appears in story missions. Star Destroyers have also been confirmed to be in the game as smaller explorable locations and will occasionally interrupt hyperspace travel to send TIE Fighters for dog fights in space, according to Kotaku.

Sequel Trilogy Planets In Lego Star War: The Skywalker Saga

As for the Sequel Trilogy locations, this is where a bulk of the explorable planets come from. There are twelve planets being brought in from the Sequel Trilogy. These locations are as follows in order of appearance in the movies:

  • Jakku
  • Takodana
  • D'Qar
  • Ahch-to
  • Cantonica
  • Crait
  • Ajan Kloss
  • Pasaana
  • Kijimi
  • Kef Bir
  • Exegol

Like the Death Star, Starkiller Base does not appear to be explorable, though it will appear in the game. Still, there are a lot of planets to explore in the Sequel Trilogy, due to the protagonists constantly jumping between worlds as they plan to take down the First Order and Emperor Palpatine. Hopefully, this doesn’t mean these planets will be significantly smaller than those from the other trilogies.

Overall, there are numerous planets to explore and hopefully a lot of content to enjoy throughout Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. There have also been six DLC packs confirmed to release for the game and could even be free with TT's Game designer Mike Consalvey saying there won't be microtransactions. These DLCs include two Mandalorian packs, a Rogue One pack, the Classic Characters pack, the Solo: A Star Wars Story pack, and The Bad Batch pack.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga features 24 planets on its Galaxy Map, each acting as an open-world hub to explore. Here's every planet so far.

The newest trailer for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, revealed at Gamescom 2021, included a quick look at the game's Galaxy Map. Of the 24 planets visible, five were undiscovered, but previous trailers suggest these locations have already been revealed.

Rather than the single hubs of the original two LEGO Star Wars games, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga lets players explore a number of planets between missions. The Skywalker Saga's Gamescom trailer showed Luke pulling out a hologram device on Dagobah, bringing up the Galaxy Map, selecting Tatooine, and warping there through Hyperspace in his X-Wing. A montage then showed several characters free-roaming around planets like Jakku and Kashyyyk and piloting various vehicles.

According to Kotaku, a 2019 demo build of the game began by having the player select one of the nine main Star Wars films, after which they could fly to planets related to that movie, each containing "a mix of movie-centric material and more generalized Star Wars activities." Developer Traveler's Tales told Kotaku each movie would feature five story missions that take the player to various locations around the galaxy, but any planet unlocked during one movie's story could be visited in free-roam during another's. So far, 19 planets have been officially confirmed as hub worlds.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga's Galaxy Map

  • Ach-To, the location of the first Jedi Temple, as seen most prominently in The Last Jedi.
  • Ajan Kloss - a planet from Star Wars Battlefront 2.
  • Kef Bir, the moon of Endor where Rey and company find the ruins of Palpatine's Death Star throne room in The Rise of Skywalker.
  • Endor, the location of the Death Star II's shield generator in Return of the Jedi.
  • Bespin, home to The Empire Strikes Back's Cloud City.
  • Hoth, where the Rebellion hides at Echo Base in The Empire Strikes Back.
  • Cantonica - the planet that's home to Canto Bight.
  • Coruscant - the seat of the Republic and eventual Empire.
  • Crait, the salt-covered planet seen in The Last Jedi.
  • Dagobah, Yoda's hideout and Luke's training ground in The Empire Strikes Back.
  • Exegol - the Sith planet seen in The Rise of Skywalker.
  • Utapau, the location of Obi-Wan's showdown with General Grievous in Revenge of the Sith.
  • Pasaana, the desert world Rey and crew visit in their search for Exegol in The Rise of Skywalker.
  • Naboo, the planet the Trade Federation first invades in The Phantom Menace.
  • D'Qar, home of the Resistance base at the end of The Force Awakens.
  • Geonosis, where the Clone Wars begins in Attack of the Clones.
  • Tatooine, Luke's home world in A New Hope.
  • Kamino, the location of the secret cloning facility in Attack of the Clones.
  • Kashyyyk, home world of Chewbacca and featured in Revenge of the Sith.
  • Kijimi, home of Zorii Bliss in The Rise of Skywalker.
  • Mustafar - the fiery planet first seen in Revenge of the Sith.
  • Yavin 4, the location of the Rebel base in A New Hope.

YouTuber MandRproductions noted that, based on footage in this trailer and others, the five missing planets appear to be Mustafar, Coruscant, Jakku, Exegol, and Takodana. Planet-turned-weapon Starkiller Base has been seen in previous LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga footage but does not appear on the map, so it is likely locked to a story mission. The same goes for the Death Stars, as all three of these locations are destroyed and therefore wouldn't make much sense as explorable hubs.

Other, non-planet locations seen in the trailer include the Tantive IV - the ship where the first scene of A New Hope takes place - and the Separatist flagship where Anakin kills Count Dooku in Revenge of the Sith. More locations will likely be confirmed as LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga's launch draws closer.
