Игроки с консолей и персональных компьютеров уже давно прошли и забыли отличную аркаду в мире Звездных войн, воссозданную при помощи конструктора LEGO. Очередь мобильных платформ только наступает. Разработчики не решились вновь разбивать готовую игру на два набора эпизодов и выпустили всю историю Звездных войн в одной игре, получившей название LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga. Действие игры начнется с первого эпизода и завершится шестым.
Игра доступна для загрузки бесплатно, но на самом деле таковой не является. Для ознакомления с возможностями проекта целиком и полностью доступен первый эпизод – Призрачная угроза. Все остальные придется покупать по 99 рублей за штуку или весь набор за 479 рублей. Сюжет LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga пересказывать не имеет смысла, поскольку он полностью повторяет фильмы с некоторым налетом несерьезности на все происходящее. Хотя это объяснимо, ведь в качестве основы игры выступает детский конструктор.
Каждый эпизод – это набор уровней, которые повторяют события аналогичного фильма. При этом на каждом уровне нам будет доступно от двух до четырех вполне играбельных персонажей. Управлять можно лишь одним, а на других переключаться при необходимости. К слову, необходимость эта возникает довольно часто, поскольку большинство героев фантастической саги обладает уникальными умениями. Лишь джедаев объединяет общее – способность использовать силу. В любом случае уровни построены таким образом, что добраться до всех секретов в ходе первого прохождения не получится. Определенные места потребуют особых персонажей, которые станут доступны после завершения сюжетного маршрута в режиме свободной игры.
Управлять действиями героев можно двумя способами: посредством нажатий в определенных местах для действия и при помощи виртуальных клавиш. По опыту другой игры во вселенной LEGO, Властелином колец, первый вариант абсолютно неудобен, поэтому лучше сразу же переключиться на джойстик. Персонажи под управлением игрока могут бегать, прыгать, использовать свои уникальные способности и атаковать. Отдельная клавиша служит для переключения между членами команды.
Игровой процесс сохранился без изменений. Помимо борьбы с врагами и продвижения сквозь хитросплетения уровней, игрокам предстоит решать незамысловатые головоломки, которые потребуют не столько смекалки, сколько внимательности. Кроме того, приветствуется сбор монет, которые позволяют в итоге получить звание истинного джедая. Погибнуть в игре нельзя. Убитый персонаж сразу же возрождается, страдают лишь очки, которые незначительно уменьшаются.
По сравнению с упомянутой выше LEGO Властелин колец, Звездные войны смотрятся привлекательнее в графическом плане, хотя в обеих играх используется одинаковый движок. Вероятно, свою роль сыграло меньшее число различных лесных пейзажей, которые выглядели просто отвратительно. LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga тоже не образец для подражания, но игра перекочевала со старших платформ без изменений. В качестве музыкального сопровождения используются композиции из фильмов, поэтому к данному компоненту никаких претензий. А вот русификации Звездные войны не получили. На выбор присутствует шесть языков без русского.
LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga – добротная аркада, способная подарить игрокам несколько часов погружения в мир Звездных войн, фирменного юмора и увлекательного игрового процесса. Игра почти не изменилась по сравнению с оригинальным вариантом для персональных компьютеров и консолей, поэтому все, кого игра оставила неравнодушными, могут еще раз окунуться в прохождение. Для всех остальных LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga просто стоящая игра по Звездным войнам, которую можно подарить детям и не зазорно пройти самостоятельно.

Персонажи
Персонажей в игре можно разделить на 4 типа: сами персонажи, экстра-персонажи (бонусные персонажи, которые используются только с режимом «Экстра»), космические корабли и миникиты, или мини-наборы, (мини-версии техники, которую мы по частям собираем по уровню). В списке представлены персонажи в том порядке, в котором они идут в меню выбора. Также в списке указаны их имена согласно русской локализации (за исключением очевидных опечаток). Звездочкой отмечены персонажи, открываемые бесплатно по ходу сюжета. Остальных необходимо покупать за внутриигровые деньги (детали — фиолетовые (прибавляющие 10000), синие(1000), золотые(100) и серебряные(10)). Еще в игре можно открыть экстра-персонажей, которые могут быть использованы только с помощью режима «Экстра», но играть ими можно только на определенных уровнях.
