Вездеход имеет зависимую подвеску (неразрезные мосты), используются мягкие амортизаторы. Несмотря на небольшой ход, подвеска работает приятно и нареканий не вызывает.

Далее – движение, или, если быть точным, скольжение – на гладкой поверхности траки не работают, с какой бы силой вы ни давили на модель. Дело в том, что маленькие катки имеют очень большое сопротивление качению из-за малого радиуса и неправильной огибающей. Не спасает даже то, что гусеницы практически не натянуты. Я провел следующий эксперимент: поставил траки от этой модели вместо колес в краулер 9398. При малейшем сопротивлении движению гусеница приподнимается над ведущим катком и он проскальзывает. Так что, если вы хотите моторизовать этого монстра, то траки придется полностью переделать. В добавление к уже сказанному следует сказать, что сама форма траков также сделана неверно, так как не имеет подъемов в передней и задней частях, что приведет к тому, что траки будут утыкаться даже в маленькие препятствия (и подворачиваться под машину), вместо того чтобы переезжать через них. Спешу вас утешить, что на ковре траки работают хорошо. Теперь вы знаете что делать с ковром на стене :D Ваше время пришло!

Поворот траков осуществляется шестеренкой сверху в центре кузова, а не на крыше кабины, как обычно бывает.

Рулевое управление на гладкой поверхности также как и траки не работает. Вообще, ручка HOG-управления вращается довольно туго, так что сжимать эту несчастную шестеренку на 12 зубьев приходится до боли в пальцах, что не добавляет удовольствия от игры. Кроме того, она постоянно норовит отвалиться. Гораздо удобнее было бы использовать шестерню на 20 зубьев. На ковре всё вышесказанное только усугубляется.

Рядом с рукояткой рулевого управления находятся органы управления коробкой передач (красный рычаг с шаром сверху):

Передняя стенка кузова имеет странную дырку неизвестного назначения. Поначалу я думал, что стенка как-то мешает вращению крана, но кран находится в стороне. Заднего борта у кузова нет, что отрицательно сказывается на количестве доехавшего до пункта назначения груза.

Вторая секция крана имеет ручное управление и блокируется в верхнем положении. Лебедка способна удерживать нетяжелые грузы благодаря пину с трением. Такая же система обеспечивает более плавный поворот крана (поворотный стол не имеет механического привода, кран вращается вручную).

В качестве груза для крана в набор входит бочка.

Но в процессе игры создается ощущение, что кран не был рассчитан на ее погрузку в кузов. Чтобы осуществить эту операцию приходится максимально выбирать лебедку, поднимать стрелу и даже отклонять стрелу рукой за счет люфта поворотного стола.

В модели есть еще несколько особенностей, о которых хочется рассказать.

Как видно по фотографии, это – дверь вникуда! Судя по масштабу, кабина находится как минимум метрах в двух над землей, и здесь мы не видим никакого намека на лестницу или подножку. Обратите внимание, что все панели, кроме тех, что на крыше, закрыты наклейками.

Выхлопная труба, также как и руль, болтается на одном пине:

Антенна на крыше добавляет реалистичности, но очень легко отламывается. Думаю, тут было бы уместно сделать гибкую антенну, как в старых RC-моделях.

Как я уже говорил, местами наклейки смотрятся приятно.

Модель имеет зеркала и различные световые приборы (думаю, для еще большей реалистичности, можно было сделать огни разных цветов – обычные, противотуманные и т.д.).

Резюме

Пора подводить итоги! Прежде всего, перед нами – отличный донор! Если вы любите внедорожники, набор будет отличным дополнением к, например, 42029 или 42037.

Если говорить про саму модель, то она очень оригинальна и, на мой взгляд, выгодно отличается от эвакуаторов и мусоровозов. Оранжевый цвет кузова с яркими наклейками придают свежести! О вкусах, разумеется, не спорят, но на полке она смотрится отлично! Конечно, в модели есть мелкие огрехи, и внешний вид может быть улучшен. С точки зрения играбельности, модель, увы, разочаровала – основные функции работают плохо: траки вращаются не всегда, поворот тоже зависит от поверхности. Кран неудобен для погрузки в кузов каких-либо предметов, а груз в кузове плохо фиксируется и может в любой момент выпасть при движении, учитывая тряску создаваемую траками.

Целесообразность моторизации также вызывает сомнения – мне кажется, что проще собрать новую модель «с нуля», так как переделать придется практически все узлы.
Плюсы:
- много полезных деталей
- оранжевые панели
- нет электрики (не завышена цена)
- оригинальный дизайн

минусы:
- очень много наклеек
- траки и рулевое управление работают плохо
- большое количество мелких замечаний создают ощущение недоработанности

В целом, несмотря на промахи с играбельностью по причине плохо работающих функций, набор достоин внимания как ресурсный набор. Рекомендуем к покупке как взрослыми фанатми, так и для более юных строителей.

P.s.: добавим, что мы намеренно не затрагивали Б-модель в данном обзоре. Модель интересна, и, судя по отзывам, многим нравится больше основной модели, однако имеет те же недостатки - все функции работают условно, для галочки. С видео обзором Б-модели можно ознакомиться тут.
