This is the most amazing fantastic lego built rc version model I ever seen!
So cool the fact the subspension fully reacts just as the real life cars would and the fact you got working door locks and working winch too! so clever even working main lights, I wonder would it be possible with the lighting tech the way it is now to have maybe working turn signal lights too? Be even more real then :)
Was this a lego kit of the car that you changed into this lovely model, Or did you just upgrade the kit by adding RC systems somehow? Hate to think the cost of the basic kit if indeed it was a main lego kit to start with, never known the cost of the extras neede to do the RC?

I made same kind of suspension as you and the steering system is also pretty much same as yours but all rest I made by myself :) thanks for the instructions. they helped a lot :D

First, even without the "cosmetic" build, that's one hell of an impressive MOC you have there, just from the engineering in LEGO. Just that alone is worthy of seeing how you did it and I (and I'm sure many others based on the comments) would be happy to purchase the building plans for that.
But the detail and care you put into the "cosmetic" build, which often gets over looked in some of these, especially ones with the amount of "actions" that you have in yours, is especially impressive and I sincerely hope you considering submitting this, as is, to LEGO for consideration as a regular set.
Okay, enough with the praise, how much bribery is it going to take for us to get a set of plans for this beast from you? I'm ready to offer my first born and possibly my collection of pocket lint as an opener. (And money of course, real money, not that LEGO stuff ;) )

this is AMAZING. love the steering system and the suspension, as well as the headlights and overall construction. I REALLY like that it's not slow. It's got the perfect torque to speed ratio. Awesome build man!!

Thanks for the advice, i will look into getting a gimball setup for my action camera. btw is called the Fire Fly 6s not the Fly 6s. Thanks for the help : )
well, it helps to film better footage. But again - it depends on your budget, how often you plan to use it, do you plan dynamic videos. And you should also check, is it compatible with Fly 6S? There is a USB interface there, when you insert Gopro 3/4 to holder - USB's of Gimball and Camera shoud meet together:) So USB interface of firefly shoud be in the same place as in GoPro.
I have simple rule about fiming stuff. All my video equipment and accesories are covered by UAclips income. No, my income is small and not every month:) - I have to wait and collect money before buying new stuff. That's my decision: youtube should cover all equipment expences!:) So you have a motivation to create better content now!
i have a fire fly 6s camera ( very similar to the Go Pro Hero 4 ) and i have a selfie stick and a slider and a few tripods. would you recommend the gimball that you use? We don't get snow where i live, only on the mountain but i don't film there anyway, so cold weather isn't a problem. Thanks
I have Feyiu G4s. It is good for its price, but have some bugs. For exmaple it tilt horizont when use at cold weather. In winter it can start rotating like insane - those bugs did not solved also. But anyways, product is looking good quality and they have wide line of products. So this is serious chinese manufacturer.
Well, if you have GoPro or similar camera and planning to film dynamic videos, gimball/stabilizer worth its money. Usually I close shaky video before it ends, and stable video attracts viewers.
But Gimball is not mandatory, especially if you can spent that 300-400$ on something more important. You can film with tripod like Pego do. Or use selfie stick with camera, just move it slowly to prevent shaking. Then use software stabiliztion in video editing app. My Land Rover video with almost 300 000+ views was filmed without Gibmall stabilizer, just using selfie stick.

NICE, new subscriber! I have an issue with my MOC. Its a crawler, and the wheals have some spinning space, so wvery time the crawler is moving, its not smooth, it has some "bumps", help!

Is there any way you possibly developed an alternate steering mechanism than 11949c01 (Inv) Technic, Steering Axle with 2 Pin Holes and 2 Ball Joint Arms, Complete Assembly with Dark Bluish Gray Wheel Hub
I ask because the cheapest real lego version on brickbay is $4.50 with only a song one available. To get 8 of these bad boys at one place is an astounding $14.50.
Your vehicle is so awesome i am willing to pay 4.50 a piece, but $14.50 x 8 is a bit too high.
I would love to build your most awesome vehicle. Any who has any idea on a redesign maybe with the portal steering unit would be fantastc!

Ah ok, now I know, what you mean. But the 42070, "the blue misery" isn´t better. Its not strong too with his little weak motor and this waggly doors. Maybe he drive over a little finger but not more. "The End terrain" - "Ende Gelände" so we say in Germany :D
I mean 8x8 - it is not strong enough and safe working to be official set
RM8 LEGO Garage What do you mean with "this thing"? Chiron or this MOC here? The negative points from the Chiron I know, you can forget this! I watch YT-Videos from "Held der Steine" (only in german) he talked about this model and he showed it. really bad rating!
This thing is not really good: it is heavy, fragile and you will complain after some playing: "why my gears are destroyed?". And yes, it will be 2 times expensive than chiron.
