Series 3 is the third wave of the LEGO Mixels sets. It was released on September 1, 2014, with some stores selling them early throughout August 2014. Series 3 consists of nine characters, split into three tribes - the Glorp Corp, the Spikels, and the Wiztastics - with three characters each. One character in every tribe came with a Nixel.

In the show

The leaders of the tribes (Glomp, Scorpi, and Magnifo) had a cameo in Epic Comedy Adventure, and they with the rest of the wave had heavy focus in Murp Romp. While heavy focus was given to later tribes, all of Series 3 appeared in Season 2.

Glorp Corp

Glomp is the leader of a green, gooey tribe of thrill-seekers known as the Glorp Corp. The crazier the better for one-eyed Glomp who is always hatching harebrained schemes and playing goofy games. And don’t get too close – the tallest of this swamp-dwelling tribe always has slimy hands and a runny nose!	This slimy hound-like creature is the most excitable member of the swamp-dwelling Glorp Corp tribe. Glurt has a pointy tail, yapping mouth, and slobbers with delight when he sees anyone. An avid garbage collector, Glurt gobbles up all the trash and cleans up after the rest of the Glorp Corp. Note: This set comes with a Nixel.	Torts has bulky feet and is the slowest moving of the Glorp Corp tribe from the swamps. A slob who enjoys playing for thrills, Torts shoots gloopy, green slime from its hands. Everything sticks to this turtle-like creature – which is great fun when goofing around and perfect for catching a Nixel or two!

Spikels

Livewire Footi just can’t stop moving! Every moment of the day bursts with exciting possibilities for the tallest member of the fun-loving Spikels tribe. Footi just loves to skip, jump and dance. But give this Mohawk-haired character plenty of room when he starts stomping around – those huge spiky claw feet are dangerous so watch out!	The leader of the playful Spikels tribe, Scorpi loves pillow fights, sleepovers and chatting all night. Always viewing life with a sense of wonder, this bug-eyed creature scuttles around on its centipede-like legs seeking fun. The cutest-looking of the Spikels loves to hug and snuggle, but beware of that dangerous pointy tail!	Hoogi is the slowest moving of the Spikels. This curious-looking member of the fun-loving tribe has giant fang teeth and is also super-affectionate, giving the biggest hugs with its lanky arms. Nixels creatures better watch out! While Hoogi walks as slowly as a zombie, getting grabbed by those spiky claw hands can be very painful. So you may want to avoid a Hoogi hug! Note: This set comes with a Nixel.

Wiztastics

A traveling magic troupe, the Wiztastics tribe is known for putting on the most spectacular shows in the land! Mesmo certainly looks the part with those expressive wizard-hat eyelids, goatee beard and a magic tail that drops spells. The only problem is that this magician’s assistant lacks showmanship. Help Mesmo peacock those huge wings and steal the show!	Magnifo is the smartest and most serious of the Wiztastics, the purple tribe of traveling magicians. This one-eyed creature with a wizard’s hat and cape plus 2 magic wands puts loads of energy into every show with the help of his bumbling assistants. And even if you think Magnifo’s magic act is cheesy, don’t tell this super-confident character or the rest of the Wiztastics – they love it! Note: This set comes with a Nixel.	Wizwuz is the over-enthusiastic magician’s assistant in the Wiztastics traveling troupe. On stage, this goofy, six-legged character is constantly messing up, but it doesn’t matter because the wild antics are half the fun. Whether burping spells or hanging from the ceiling, Wizwuz simply loves to perform and is sure to have the audience laughing their heads off!

Series 3 is the only series released in September. All other series are released in either February, March, June or October.
This is the first series where the tribe leaders all use the same eye piece.
This is the first series where the LEGO form of each Max has their own unique eye piece.

Series 7 is the seventh wave of the LEGO Mixels sets. It was released on February 1, 2016, with some stores selling them early throughout January 2016. Series 7 consists of nine new characters, split into three new tribes - the MCPD, the Medivals, and the Mixies - with three characters each. One character in every tribe comes with a Nixel.

Make a record number of arrests with this Mixel’s long arm of the law! Mixopolis is a tough town and Kuffs is just the character to serve and protect it. This super-enthusiastic officer is the top cop in the MCPD tribe, but beware—sometimes Kuffs is too keen and arrests everyone and everything for no good reason!	This sweet MCPD tribe member is just too nice and will let prisoners talk their way to freedom. Keep Busto’s jail cell closed or this charming Mixel will get in trouble with 41554 Kuffs!

This royal Mixel has always had servants to take care of every part of its life. But now Camillot wants to meet all the citizens of the Mixopolis and learn the art of mixing. Just be careful this royal character doesn’t accidentally hurt someone with that axe arm!	This snobbish royal doesn’t believe in mixing with common MIXELS™, preferring to catapult stuff at them! But Mixadel is not all bad—deep down, this Mixel has the heart of a hero!	This one-eyed, flying-horse-type creature is the pet of 41557 Camillot. Paladum may not be the cleverest, but will fearlessly do anything to protect its master. You too are sure to fall in love with this ever-cheerful and loyal character.

Shaped like a classic Frender Mixokaster guitar, this Mixel was born to rock Mixopolis! Jamzy might have more confidence than talent, but this one-eyed character never stops trying to entertain.

Trivia

After three consecutive series, this is the first series to contain three entirely new tribes, rather than cousins ofoldtribes.
In this series, there are two new pieces and three new prints introduced: a new type of ball-joint (1x2 piece with a ball on the end), a new type of tooth/toe, a 1x1 half-closed eye tile, a "Mixies" drum used for Tapsy, and a Cookironi.
Just like with Series 2, all of the tribe names in this series begin with the same letter, which in this case is the letter "M".
The images for these characters were accidentally released early on the LEGO website's server along with Series 8.
This wave introduces brand new Nixel designs that are themed around the professions of each tribe, an idea that continued until Series 9.
This was the second wave, with the first being Series 4, to not contain any in-booklet codes.
- This persisted until Series 9 because there was no official Mixels mobile game for 2016.

Since Mixels began, many prototypes have been made by LEGO and found online. A prototype is a first, typical or preliminary model of something, especially a machine, from which other forms are developed or copied. This page encompasses all of the prototypes in the theme's history.

LEGO (Hungry) Monsters

“The two companies joined forces when Cartoon Network Studios had an interest in creating original content based on the inherent open-ended values of LEGO® play, at the same time that The LEGO Group was exploring a new concept involving small creatures – and Mixels was born.” — Official Mixels press release

LEGO Monsters, also called Hungry Monsters, was an idea for a LEGO theme that later became Mixels. [1] Like Mixels, it would have consisted of different brick-built creatures.

History

Sometime in the past (most likely around 2012), LEGO created a small line of prototype Monsters. Around the same time, Cartoon Network wanted to co-create a theme with LEGO. LEGO and Cartoon Network worked on the Monsters idea and formed Mixels.

Sketch Models

Little is known about the actual Monsters models besides their similarity to Mixels. The models appear to have been slightly smaller than Mixels. Several of these sketch models look similar to the Mixels that would be released in their place. The original concept seemed to have up to five to a tribe, with much simpler designs. They still retained the mix-and-match idea of Mixels, which was the driving point to Cartoon Network.

Some of the current Mixel tribes share color schemes with the preliminary Monsters designs, possibly contributing to the colors.

They appear to have had different pieces, such as a 1x1 half-closed eye piece with a colored eyelid and a less detailed Technic ball eye piece.

Миксели – это яркие и веселые создания, которые объединены в несколько племен. В каждом племени, которое символизирует определенную стихию – существа одинакового цвета, объединенные общими способностями.

К примеру, в племени Инфернитов (стихия – Огонь) все его члены красного цвета, которых объединяет резкий, взрывной характер.

Племя Электроидов (стихия – Электричество) желтого цвета, и они очень активны и стараются всех микселей увлечь своими забавами. Вдобавок к этому каждый член племени наделен уникальными способностями, отличающими его от соплеменников.

Например, в племени Электроидов Волектро вырабатывает электроток и поэтому может притягивать к себе предметы и других микселей, а Заптор способен приманивать молнии и накапливать энергию благодаря громоотводу, стоящему на его голове. В противопоставление ярким племенам Микселей придуманы бесцветные существа Никсели, цель которых – помешать главным героям, разрушая все созданное ими и внося неразбериху и хаос в их мир.

Миксели обладают удивительными особенностями – они могут соединяться друг с другом, причем как внутри клана, так и с участниками других племен. После объединения членов одного племени между собой получается новый герой — великан, включивший в себя множество дополнительных функций.

При объединении племен выходит абсолютно новый персонаж, обладающий качествами и способностями всех микселей, из которых состоит.

Благодаря этому микселям легче найти выход из забавных ситуаций, в которые они то и дело попадают. К тому же появление новых персонажей с множеством умений помогает микселям в борьбе со своими противниками никселями.

Разработчики LEGO Mixels перенесли способность персонажей объединяться в героев конструктора. Неповторимое свойство серии – то, что фигурки из наборов можно комбинировать, при этом получая новых героев, причем не обязательно полное соответствии инструкции по сборке. Используя составные части двух любых микселей, можно получить нового персонажа. Чем больше персонажей в коллекции – тем больше вариантов для создания новых микселей. При объединении трех участников одного племени из одной серии получается так называемый макси-миксель. На сайте LEGO расположены инструкции по их сборке, также там указаны варианты комбинирования различных макси-микселей. Вариантов на самом деле множество, и самостоятельное комбинирование микселей помогает развить воображение, логику и конструкторские способности любителей LEGO.

Еще одна особенность серии LEGO Mixels – возможность переносить персонажей мультфильма в реальную жизнь. Благодаря наборам серии любители LEGO смогут не только играть с исходными персонажами, используя их необыкновенные способности, но и создавать новых уникальных героев по мотивам мультфильма. К тому же каждый миксель имеет свой особенный характер и привычки, обозначенные в мультфильме, что поможет зрителям выбрать себе любимого персонажа и следить за его приключениями, перенося их в игры с героями конструктора.

Большое значение имеет и наличие видео, компьютерных игр и фирменных журналов с микселями, в которых изложена история мира микселей и пути их развития.

Все фигурки из серии LEGO Mixels подвижные, им можно придать любое положение, у большинства имеются элементы, которые светятся в темноте.

Lego Mixels Series 2. LEGO Mixels - это весёлые и забавные существа, созданные из базовых блоков конструктора LEGO, разных стихий: Огонь, Камень, Электричество, и другие.

Миксели живут племенами по всему огромному миру и обожают смешиваться и пересобираться. Отсюда и такое название - Миксели (от слова mix - смешивать).

При помощи специальных предметов - Кубитов - они могут объединяться в совершенно новых Микселей, иногда с удивительными и забавными последствиями.

Никсели же - орава бесцветных существ, одержимых разборкой всего, что попадется им под руку, в том числе и смешанных Микселей.

Миксель, собранный из трёх наборов, Slumbo, Lunk и Flurr. Уникальная серия - эти фигурки так весело собирать и пересобирать! В отличие от сложных наборов других серий Лего, Миксели созданы именно для того, чтобы их собирали, пересобирали, придумывали новых персонажей. Конструктор в полном смысле этого слова.

Наборы хороши тем, что они небольшие (и, следовательно, недорогие) - выбираем понравившихся персонажей, собираем их, а потом пересобираем, подключая другие наборы этой серии.

В мире регулярно проводятся состязания по сборке самых интересных существо-микселей, Brickset Mixels Competition.

У каждого персонажа Микселя - свои особенности, например:

К сентябрю 2015 года существует уже 5 серий Лего Микселей.

В каждой серии выходят 9 фигурок трёх разных кланов: по три фигурки из каждого клана.

Лего Миксели серия 1 вышла в марте 2014 года, кланы: Infernite, Cragsters, and Electroids.

Серия 2 вышла в июне 2014, кланы: Frosticons, Fang Gang, и Flexers.

Серия 3 вышла в сентябре 2014, кланы - Glorp Corp, Spikels, и Wiztastics.

Серия 4 вышла в феврале 2015 года, кланы: Orbitons, Infernite Cousins, и Glowkies.

Собирая микселей, как тебе нравится! Их качества - объединяются. Один персонаж может базой, второй даст новые возможности.

А можно собирать персонажей из 3-х, 4-х наборов, и т.д. - как угодно! Они ведь ещё и по размеру увеличиваются: миксели могут быть очень большими: чем больше наборов - тем больше персонаж!
