Red Power Brick Extras

In this game, there are a total of 20 Extras that may be unlocked by purchasing them in the Hub worlds. Each Extra is listed below in the order that they appear in the menu. I’ve also included information on what they do and how to access them.

Studs x2

How To Unlock: Find and purchase in Bricksburg
What It Does: This multiplies the value of all collected studs by 2. This stacks with other stud multiplier Extras

Studs x4

How To Unlock: Find and purchase in The Old West
What It Does: This multiplies the value of all collected studs by 4. This stacks with other stud multiplier Extras

How To Unlock: Find and purchase in Cloud Cuckoo Land
What It Does: This multiplies the value of all collected studs by 6. This stacks with other stud multiplier Extras

Fast Repair

How To Unlock: Find and purchase in Bricksburg
What It Does: This increases the speed at which you repair broken objects

Fast Drill

How To Unlock: Find and purchase in The Old West
What It Does: This increases the speed at which you drill through cracked blocks

Fast Build

How To Unlock: Find and purchase in The Old West
What It Does: This increases the speed at which you build LEGO pieces

Fast Boomerangs

How To Unlock: Find and purchase in Cloud Cuckoo Land
What It Does: This increases the speed at which thrown weapons travel

Fast Secret Knock

How To Unlock: Find and purchase in Cloud Cuckoo Land
What It Does: Instead of having to press three buttons to perform a secret knock, you will only have to press one

Fast Hack

How To Unlock: Find and purchase in The Octan Tower
What It Does: This increases the speed of the robot you control while hacking terminals, making stud collecting much easier

Gold Instruction Page Detector

How To Unlock: Find and purchase in The Old West
What It Does: White arrows will point to the locations of Golden Manuals in Story levels. This will only show you WHERE the Golden Manuals appear, not HOW to unlock them

Red Brick Detector

How To Unlock: Find and purchase in Cloud Cuckoo Land
What It Does: Red arrows will point to the locations of Red Power Bricks in the Hub worlds. This will only show you WHERE the Red Bricks appear, not HOW to unlock them

Pants Detector

How To Unlock: Find and purchase in Bricksburg
What It Does: A purple arrow will point to the location of the Pants in Story levels. This will only show you WHERE the Pants appear, not HOW to unlock them

Character Studs

How To Unlock: Find and purchase in The Old West
What It Does: Defeated enemies will drop a small amount of studs

Collect Guide Studs

How To Unlock: Find and purchase in Bricksburg
What It Does: This will allow you to collect the green guide studs that appear in the Hubs

Attract Studs

How To Unlock: Find and purchase in Cloud Cuckoo Land
What It Does: This increases your stud collecting radius

Extra Hearts

How To Unlock: Find and purchase in The Octan Tower
What It Does: This gives you 6 hearts instead of the usual 4

Regenerate Hearts

How To Unlock: Find and purchase in The Octan Tower
What It Does: If you are missing any hearts, you will slowly regenerate them

Invincibility

How To Unlock: Find and purchase in The Octan Tower
What It Does: This makes you immune to damage from enemies and hazards. You’ll still die from falling though

Pants

There are a total of 20 pairs of pants (plus an additional 4 available through DLC). Pants can be put on at the Pants Cabinets accessible in each of the four main Hub worlds. By putting on the Pants at the hub, then going to a level in Free Play Mode and selecting your current character, you can wear these Pants into a level. Only one pair of Pants can be worn at a time. I explain what each pair of Pants does and how you may get them below.

The LEGO video games have consistently featured cheat codes so it’s no secret that The Lego Movie 2 Videogame also features them.
