Netflix опубликовал дебютный трейлер первой части мультсериала «Трансформеры: Война за Кибертрон» (Transformers: War for Cybertron) под названием «Осада». Всего же шоу будет состоять из трёх частей по шесть 22-минутных эпизодов в каждой.
«Осада» расскажет о начале конфликта между автоботами и десептиконами, а её сюжет будет развиваться исключительно на Кибертроне. Название второй части, Earthrise («Восход Земли»), может намекать на то, что действие выберется за пределы родной планеты трансформеров.
За создание сериала отвечают Rooster Teeth и японская студия Polygon Pictures («Годзилла», «Призрак в доспехах 2: Невинность»). Предводителя десептиконов Мегатрона озвучит Джейсон Марноча, который исполнял эту роль в мини-сериале Transformers: Power of the Primes. Оптимуса Прайма сыграет Джейк Фуше, озвучивавший робота в мультсериале «Трансформеры: КиберВселенная».
У «Войны за Кибертрон» от Netflix пока нет даты релиза, но первая часть выйдет в онлайн-кинотеатре до конца 2020 года.

Один из самых любимых мультов детства. Тьфу на теб, Миша Вау и студию, которая допустила это непотребство.
Выглядит, словно мультик из 80-х обмазали графеном. Шта праисхадит?

Зачем роботам лица? Ну я как бы могу понять зачем они приняли форму лица допустим на Земле. Но зачем им подобные извращения на родной планете?
Ну хуевое 3д тут даже обсуждать наверное не стоит. Оно даже по меркам хуевого 3д хуевое.
зачем роботам лица? чтобы по ихним выражениям люди (а точнее дети, ведь они основной потребитель) оценивали психическое состояние и проникались чувствами к персонажам. элементарная невербалика.
Хер с ним, с лицами, почему они превращаются в земные машины? В игре же другой дизайн техники, что было понятно. Нетфликс, ну какого хрена-то?
Такое ощущение что нетфликс выкупил какой-то всратый 3д движок за огромные деньги и сейчас чтобы оправдать покупку упорно пытается на нем сотворить хоть что-нибудь.
Движок не всратый,если и тут использовался Maneki под Майю.
Слабали его япошки уже относительно давно(на базе другого отличного рендера-3Delight).
И например шейдинг мне в том же Blame! очень нравится.
Это один из лучших npr рендеров в целом.
И он не дорогой.
Странно вообще в этом контексте рассуждать-бо в статике какой кадр не возьми в целом ок.И уж всяко лучше старых мультфильмов с каким-нить древним scanline рендером с простыми моделями освещения по Гуро или Фонгу.
Тут больше претензия к анимации,но опять же кто в этом виноват?
Есть некий бюджет выделенный,на него и лабали.
Поэтому она то куцая и дёрганная,то слишком искусственно плавная с откупом на интерполяцию.
И именно это глазу и не нравится.
У меня ощущение, что я допотопный мультфильм про трансформеров-зверей в таком же качестве смотрел.

29 июля состоялась премьера третьей части «Войны за Кибертрон». В первом сезоне «Осада» нам рассказывали об истоках гражданской войны между двумя фракциями трансформеров, ее кульминации и последствиях. Второй сезон с подзаголовком «Восход Земли» переносил действие за пределы Кибертрона. В конце концов, погоня Автоботов и Десептиконов за Великой Искрой привела их на доисторическую Землю, где они встретили своих потомков из далекого будущего, Максималов и Предаконов – это заключительная часть под названием «Королевство».
Если кратко обобщить впечатления от всей нетфликсовской трилогии, то становится ясно: сделать хороший мультсериал не получилось. Вместо цельной, продуманной истории про зарождение конфликта между Автоботами и Десептиконами мы получили тонны затянутых диалогов, неестественные бои и довольно сомнительный фансервис.
Самое обидное, что на новую аудиторию тут никто и не нацеливался. Не можешь перечислить всех Сикеров наизусть или пытаешься понять, что здесь забыл Гальватрон и кто это вообще такой – твои проблемы. Но и в качестве ностальгического подарка для фанатов Первому поколения «Война за Кибертрон» работает отвратительно, потому что ни дух приключений, ни харизматичных персонажей здесь не найдешь.
Однако могло быть хуже.
Однако маленькие зрители выросли, а фигурки вместе с мультфильмами, играми и кино продавать все еще нужно. И теперь, когда к юной аудитории присоединились взрослые, до сих пор сохранившие теплые воспоминания об игрушечных битвах, правила игры поменялись. В целом, есть несколько путей для развития таких вселенных:
1) Сломать игрушки. Провести тотальную деконструкцию любимых персонажей и высмеять их наивность. Желательно с учетом современных реалий. Из минусов – скорее всего, вас будут ненавидеть. Из плюсов – про вас не напишет только ленивый.
2) Забыть про игрушки. Развивать франшизу так, будто смешных мемных мультиков никогда не было. Возможно, это частично отпугнет «старое» поколение зрителей, зато новички не будут чувствовать испанский стыд и им не придется копаться в фанатских вики.
3) Продолжить играть. Всячески развивать вселенную, расширять лор, вводить новых персонажей и не забывать про существующих.
4) Похоронить, несмотря на любовь фанатов.
Итак, произведения про трансформеров всегда старались идти по третьему пути, не меняя кардинально хорошо работающую формулу и не стараясь «взрослеть». Мифология их вселенной стала ощутимо богаче за долгие годы, а центральный конфликт благородных Автоботов и жестоких Десептиконов притягивает внимание до сих пор.
Нужно ли вообще трансформерам какое-либо переосмысление? При желании их тоже можно разобрать по винтикам и присоединить хоть политический подтекст (формально добрые консерваторы против агрессивно настроенных сторонников перемен), хоть современную повестку (если кибертронцы умеют трансформироваться, то могут ли они быть свободны в выборе идентичности?), хоть мнимый вес абсолютно третьестепенным персонажам, прописывая им Очень Сложную и Драматичную Предысторию.
Это популярные инструменты деконструкциии, но на дворе уже давно не 1986 год. Даже сама идея «взросления детского оригинала» уже давно стала клише и дополнительным оружием в руках маркетологов. Просто потому что придумать нечто действительно смелое и увлекательное, имея хорошо знакомые игрушки на руках, намного сложнее, чем просто поломать их.
Я веду к тому, что изначально «Война за Кибертрон» выглядела тем самым сериалом мечты, который должен был развеять наконец туман войны над важнейшим событием в трансформерской истории в олдскульном дизайне. То есть не посмеяться над оригиналом или забить на него, как часто сейчас бывает, а именно развить его и осовременить.
Увы, но легендарная война, расколовшая Кибертрон, снова не получила достойного воплощения. Первый сезон оказался «войной говорящих голов» с переизбытком персонажей и вялым развитием событий. Второй поправил положение за счет разнообразия локаций, но все равно так и остался бенефисом пасхалок для фанов.
Третий сезон по структуре получился близок к первому: снова две стороны ищут древний артефакт, иногда они сталкиваются друг с другом, есть пару предательств и смертей. Только теперь к трансформерам присоединились зооморфы из будущего, умеющие принимать облик зверей: благородные Максималы и жестокие Предаконы. Да, наследственность на Кибертроне решает все.
Закинуть десяток новых героев из будущего, хотя за 12 предыдущих серий накопилась уже целая куча нераскрытых персонажей – отличное решение!
Разговоров снова стало настолько много, что иногда кажется будто слушаешь радиопостановку с видеорядом под фон. И 90 % из них содержат пережевывание давно пройденных тем: судьба, поиск своего пути, отвага, превозмогание и так далее. Но, может, на древней Земле трансформеры сумели найти себе более интересное занятие, чем болтовня? Сражения с динозаврами, например? Бегство от кипящей лавы? Попытки вмешаться в таймлайн? Нет. Все те же самые ленивые драки с выстрелами в пустоту на пару минут.
Самое интересное в том, что «Королевство» настолько расфокусировано, что даже Оптимусов и Мегатронов, и из настоящего, и из будущего, сложно назвать главными героями. Это просто статичные болванчики, которые четко выполняют свою миссию и ни на секунду не сходящие с рельсов сюжета. Единственным фигурой, достойной внимания остается Старскрим. За попытками Скандалиста захватить власть хоть немного интересно следить, да и сам персонаж успевает пройти какой-никакой путь развития.
На всех остальных просто забили: Бамблби делает что-то важное только к концу, Динобот зачем-то повторяет сюжет Джетфайра с раскаянием, остальные кибертронцы мелькают на пару кадров, применяют коронную способность убегают в закат. Видимо, прямо на витрины с фигурками, иначе зачем было бы еще вводить такую толпу персонажей?
Даже закончить сериал достойно не получилось: вместо финального боя между заклятыми врагами нам подсовывают жутко неубедительное объединение всех фракций против гипотетического врага из будущего, о котором они узнали буквально в последние пару минут. Зачем вообще это мнимое перемирие в конце нужно, если очевидно, что война продолжится? Хэппи-энд только ради хэппи-энда?
Итог: мультсериал «Трансформеры. Война за Кибертрон» получился очень средним. Он дотошно перенес на экран трансформеров первого поколения, но, кроме этого, ничего интересного предложить не смог. К тому же, для людей, не знакомых с франшизой, он будет слабо понятен, а для фанатов – попросту скучен. Зато он стал возможностью выпустить больше игрушек – и это его самое значительное достижение.
People who attended Hasbro's event at the 2020 Toy Fair were given goody bags and in them was a deluxe from the upcoming exclusive Netflix Transformers series exclusive toyline. They are all Siege toys with different paint apps and each come with a cardboard piece to make Teletran One. Since they are all out in this way, it was not long for reviews to come in.
Below you will see a review of the entire first wave, done by RFC Reviews. These deluxes are Chromia, Scrapface, Sideswipe, Decepticon Disguise Mirage and Hound.
We also have a nice pictorial review of Chromia from Allspark with nice comparisons to the original. It is clear that this one looks better. However, it is still the Chromia toy so the improvement can only go so far.

"borderline cyberverse"? That, my good sir, is going too far and veering into the ridiculous. There is simply too much intricacy in the transformation for that to be an apt comparison, and too much articulation in robot mode as well.
Cyberverse figures don't have folding nosecones like his, they don't have chest intakes that pivot 90 degrees and then swing around into robot mode position, they don't have wings that fold up on themseslves to protrude less in robot mode, they don't have the ends of booster engines unfolding from their tidy hiding places in the legs to connect to the rest of the engines, they don't have deployable handles for smaller figures to hang onto (at least, as far as I've seen). Cyberverse figures, even the large ones, don't have articulated hands that retract the 5mm port for better looks when opened, they don't have a full range of motion in all limbs as well as a a waist swivel, a neck tilt, and ankle tilts. Really, the additional armor is the only comparable thing
That's considerably less ridiculous than calling him "Borderline Cyberverse", but IMO he still has too many moving parts in his transformation for it to be fair, plus he has a lot of features (like the ability to tuck the hands into the arms without having to leave an exposed gap) that are too far beyond the average Deluxe. You wanna talk OSKO, I refer you again to Supreme-class Starscream. Which is still a fun toy, but man is it irritating that HasTak pretty much just straight-up upsizing the Voyager and doing nothing to improve the arm articulation.

Here's your justification for those gaps (by which if memory serves, you are chiefly talking about the view of his shoulder balls in jet mode): Not much of a good place to stash the panels that would cover them in robot mode, plus they decided to splurge more on the accessories front (accessories inspired by the Valkyrie). And the robot mode has a full, functional articulation scheme (including the aforementioned articulated hands) as well as snap-on armor, and has that level of engineering while still being on par mass-wise with figures the same size from 15 years ago. They're called size classes for a reason Now, if on the other hand he was a featherweight like T30 and Prime Wars Leaders are, then I'd be ticked about the price. But he's not.

I disagree with you about his jet mode being better value. Accuracy has nothing to do with it, it's the unjustified lack of integration. Very little of his robot body seems to make up any part of the jet mode, and for no good reason. Would you consider Earthrise Arcee to be more value for money than T30 or Animated Arcee?
Frankly, I think T30 Leader Jetfire can go kiss the Classics Voyager's skidplate. That one uses a hybrid design to preserve the Valkyrie influence as best it can without sacrificing an integrated transformation, and has the added bonus of the boosters (which point up over his shoulders in robot mode like they should on a Valkyrie) containing deployable cannons.

She looks just like the original, only differences are the too close of an encounter with a blow torch and the clear blue canopy. True, one set of parts is switched for black, and painted over where necessary, but keeping the original look still stands.

Well this review just reaffirmed that the only ones I want of these Deluxes are the Cons. The other three seem kinda irrelevant to me compared to their originals since they're just the same but dirtier, whereas Scrapface gets new character points in addition to looking really good with that red and metallic blue combo, and Decepticon Mirage is a unique repaint that looks enough like a new character for me to rename them Crash Test. Very curious to see what the other 5 later Deluxes will be, I hope there are more like these two.
Also I'm still not over the fact that we're not only getting a new Hotlink from the awesome tetrajet mold, but also that they made his flamethrower into a Battlemaster/Battlemasters so he could finally have it, that's a genius way to include that accessory for him. Heatstroke is a really good name for a guy who turns into a flamethrower too, I love it on all accounts. I'm now only one Seeker away from getting the three I really wanted as tetrajets, show me a Sunstorm and I'm set (although you may as well finish the Welcoming Committee at that point, I suppose).
Weird, for figures with more paint on them they forget to paint some side parts of sideswipe black - I'll wait for earthrise sideswipe anyhoos and hope the siege figures improved on in a few areas.

On the contrary, there will be a Sideswipe on the shelves with Sunstreaker Netflix Sideswipe and Earthrise Sunstreaker, side by side again.
So they took some of the biggest shelfwarmers from siege and went balls to the wall with the aesthetic gimmick no one really cared for, and gave it to walmart? I wonder if this is in response to walmart not bothering to carry most of the transformers line anymore

Ditto. Even in Walmarts where there is only one toy on the peg, it's usually a Chromia. In some cases, three or four Chromias. Easy pass on this group. :oP --> :oP -->
I couldn't tell from the stock photos, does anyone know if the mirage figure has a clear plastic legs/cockpit?

Awesome, so Scrapface is a Decepticon, I was hoping so. Now for the next dilemma, do I want a full set of 3 for a 3rd camera, or will just 1 suffice? Leaning toward just 1 for now, and waiting out any possible sales/discounts on getting another 2.

I've seen it mentioned elsewhere that someone was think of renaming him Deluge after the G2 version of the character, which fits: Colour scheme, alt-mode & Faction.

It is pretty cool. Debating on if I should get Thundercraker to fill in the role of Bitstream or wait and see if Hasbro give us a Bitstream.

Does anyone know the reasoning behind the removable crotch plate on Chromia/Nightbird. The stupid thing literally explodes away when trying to just twist the waist much less transform. The PotP version of these ladies don't have that and I know it is a different figure but dear God, why?
So, how does one get an invite to Toy Fair? In case I ever matter enough to make the cut. Gotta say, I'm totally jealous of everyone that got one of these goody bags.

Wheeljack was on the SIEGE packaging, didn't get a figure til Earthrise. Also, bear in mind that the package art of pending characters doesn't reflect what the toys will look like - I'm pretty sure that Trailbreaker isn't going to be a reissue of his T30 toy, and that they're not going to stuff G1 Conehead toys into Earthrise packaging.
An Earthrise Sideswipe isn't needed, since this is all one trilogy and we already got a sufficiently Earthlike Sideswipe during SIEGE. Who is not exactly difficult to come by.

With the current trends, it may be to make it easier to switch out molds for retools. Chromia's light blue parts such as the fists, upper arms, upper legs and waist, and the ankle tilts can easily be reused (if fact most were from Moonracer), while the other colors including the crotch plate are mainly for looks.

Earthrise sideswipe is as much needed as smokescreen. But failing that, if they do a repainted blue sideswipe for second series of netlix there can be a Mr Birthday to go with Mr Strong
I too think Sideswipe is fine as is with his Siege release. That alt mode looks more like a near future version of the Countache than an alien spacecar from millions of years ago. Hound is another that I feel fits the "already terrestrial enough" Siege alt mode. He legitimately looks like an earth-based military jeep in Siege. Smokescreen, Prowl, Bluestreak, and Barricade, on the other hand, look more stylized Siege, and so are harder to pass off as real Earth vehicles, especially the ones with translucent wheels and Cybertronian lettering. Giving them a redo makes a lot more sense than Sideswipe and Red Alert.

The only thing that really sticks out is SIEGE Sideswipe lacks a spoiler. Even the windshield has the same profile.

My major concern is having two bros whose alt modes look odd together. Whether one feels Sideswipe’s Siege vehicle was otherworldly or future Earth, neither interpretation will work with an 80s-style Countach look.

@ gurubudda , начну с размножения что бы было понятно. Трансформеры размножаются не как биологические существа. Ядро Кибертрона или колонии-титана создают искру, которые собирают а в дальнейшем помещают в протоформы (по сути в заготовки корпуса). В дальнейшем протоформа развивается и становится ботом (аналог мужчины) либо фемботом (женщины). Всё зависит от искры. К примеру если поместить фем искру в протоформу какого нибудь тяжёлого танка, то пол будет женским, но при этом фемка будет здоровенным танком.

Это первый способ размножения. Так называемая "ковка".
Второй способ - когда корпус собирается заранее, а после в него встраивается молодая искра. Этот способ называется "конструкция". И с этим способом связана одна проблема - трансформер узнаёт свой истинный пол только тогда когда пытается создать голографическую маскировку под органиков у которых есть пол, так как подсознательно выбирается "пол" искры а не корпуса. В будущем, каждый трансформер может перестраивать свой корпус как хочет, но слишком сильный отход от молда черевато инвалидностью (невозможность трансформации) или серьёзными психологическими отклонениями (чаще всего повышенная агрессия и понижение умственных способностей).
Netflix представил трейлер «Осады» (Siege) — первой части трилогии «Трансформеры: Война за Кибертрон» (War for Cybertron). Она расскажет об очередном витке конфликта автоботов и десептиконов, её действие развернётся в последние часы сражения на Кибертроне, где обе стороны жаждут заполучить Великую Искру.
Netflix запланировал ещё две части. Вторая будет называться Earthrise («Расцвет Земли»), а у третьей подзаголовок пока не объявлен. Дат выхода тоже нет.
Все шесть серий «Осады» выйдут на сервисе 30 июля.
