Clone battle pack lego

Обновлено: 02.05.2024

Yay, I can't wait to buildy army of Ki-Adi-Mundis to fight the droid attack on the wookies.

But what about the droid attack on the Wookiees? It's a system we can afford to lose

I can’t wait to build my bariss offee clone army.

That’s why he survived so long against the galactic marines after being shot. Two hearts!

finally some clone wars characters with normal eyes!

This battlepack has some very interessting parts and good minifigures but named character in battlepacks are a big problem since you have less trooper for the same price, and troopers are the most important.

The blue cloaks and hoods that people are going to get many of is a real plus. You can use them on the lotr "the two towers" elves if you want them in numbers. And the torso too maybe. Those elves are really hard to make otherwise. Just something I figured I'd share

LEGO is savage for bringing Jedi in battle pack

I am defienetily getting this set, that realisticly khi-adhi-mundhi looks DOPE!

Now if only we could get regular Phase II (Episode III) Clones in a battlepack. I think they the only one was in a microfighter juggernaut turbo tank

Finally all the dress-wearing figures won't be 1 plate taller than everyone else

Big big fan of the clone Troopers making a return to battlepacks!!

We still getting these stud shooters? God damn it.

I didn't notice the vehicle resembles a Republic Gunship! If LEGO isn't gonna do official vehicles in battle packs, they should continue this trend.

The build is a bit like a Microfighter. Love getting Ki!

The same Phase 1 clones from a couple of years ago didn't have leg printings. And having Jedi in a BP is great. A cheap way to get more of one type of alien character and great torsos for kitbashing.

Been waiting for that dress piece for about 30 years, can't believe it took them so long! You forgot to mention that it's the same height as minifig legs, whereas the slope piece previously used is taller (5 vs 6 plates).

This is getting out of hand now there are two of them

Nothing wrong with having an army of Jedi. You can use them for your model of the First Battle of Geonosis.

Clone Troopers Battle Pack is a Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith set released in 2007.

Description

The set in its entirety.

The set features two models- a speeder and a turret. The speeder is primarily grey, with some red present. It can accomodate a total of two minifigures- one as the driver, while the other's role is a gunner who faces backwards. The speeder has handlebars for the driver to hold on to, and is armed with two laser cannons, one mounted on each side just in front of the driver.

The turret is white and red, and has a base for the turret operator to stand on. The turret does not have any fixed weapons, instead it has a cone piece on the top of it, where a trooper's gun can be placed in.

The set includes a total of four minifigures- a Star Corps Trooper with a blaster, a Shock Trooper with a blaster rifle, and two Clone Troopers- both with blasters, and one of them additionally with a pair of electrobinoculars.

Background

The Grand Army of the Republic outfitted and equipped its clone troopers with a variety of weapons, vehicles and defensive platforms during their battle against the Confederacy of Independent Systems in the Clone Wars.

Notes

  • This set was one of the first to include guns in a newly mould parts x1740 (a blaster) and x1741 (a blaster rifle).
  • It was released alongside with the set 7654 Droids Battle Pack as one of the first Battle Packs, in January2007.

Send in the Clones!
The Clone Wars are on! When the Separatists attack, the Republic fights back with its legions of Clone Troopers. Build your army with an assortment of battle-ready troopers, complete with a blaster turret and speeder bike!

LEGO Star Wars Battle Packs have always been among the most anticipated sets from each new wave as they are the cheapest way to build an army of your favorite Minifigures. Ever since LEGO introduced the first battle packs in 2007, this type of set has been in high demand and is often the most discussed subject for each following year of LEGO Star Wars.

Just like that, after years of expectations and endless demands, LEGO finally heard our calls and announced the new 501 st Clone Trooper Battle Pack! In its entirety, it will not count as a battle pack because of the price and an additional two minifigures but nevertheless, has still been classed as one by the fans.

Since the new 501 st Battle Pack is the most anticipated set for this year, we will dive into the history of this type of set with our list of the best LEGO Star Wars Battle Packs. There have been a total of 26 Battle Packs in the past 13 years and while some were relatively disappointing, others remain fan-favorites years after they were retired.

75280 - 501st Legion Clone Troopers

10. 7668 Rebel Scout Speeder

To start off, the 7668 Rebel Scout Speeder was one of the first battle packs to ever be released. It does not stand out from a design point of view, but we consider it a top 10 for its army-building potential and the rarity of its figures.

It included four of the original Rebel Fleet Trooper minifigures which have always been rare in sets. In fact, they have appeared in no more than four or five sets in 20 years of LEGO Star Wars. Besides the minifigures, the set came with a surprisingly cool speeder with the ability to carry two troopers. I honestly consider this speeder to be one of the better-designed Speeder that LEGO has ever produced.

Minifigures: Rebel Trooper x4

Original Retail Price: $9.99

7668 Rebel Scout Speeder

9. 75166 First Order Transport Speeder Battle Pack

There were a few years of LEGO sets that did not give us any impressive Battle Packs. Some had pointless minifigures, others were entirely a waste of money. Finally, in 2017, we received an outstanding army building set which, of course, became a hit.

The 75166 First Order Transport Speeder Battle Pack came with a brilliant minifigure selection. As you know, the First Order introduced incredible military characters and we finally got a chance to build an army. Besides the two Stormtroopers and the cool-looking officer, we received a rare First order Flametrooper. If you weren’t big on LEGO before, keep in mind that this was a minifigure that only appeared in large and expensive sets.

This Battle Pack was an amazing upgrade from the original First Order Battle pack which was one of those that simply did not have a suitable minifigure selection for an army building set.

Piece Count: 117

Minifigures: First Order Stormtrooper x2, First Order Officer, First Order Flametrooper

Original Retail Price: $14.99

75166 First Order Transport Speeder Battle Pack

8. 75167 Bounty Hunter Speeder Bike Battle Pack

This set was definitely unexpected although Bounty Hunters have always had a special place in Star Wars, and fans literally adore them. Logically, when this was announced and it included three fan-favorite characters, its success was already certain.

Overall, I feel like there is no other battle pack that could compare with this one if we compare the price to the minifigure selection. It is not one that you would buy more than once but a mandatory purchase if you love bounty hunters.

Besides the minifigures, LEGO did an outstanding job with the speeder bike although it has nothing to do with the actual movies or even The Clone Wars. It simply had a cool design and once again, added up to the low price of the set.

Piece Count: 125

Minifigures: Dengar, Bossk, IG-88, 4-LOM

Original Retail Price: $14.99

75167 Bounty Hunter Speeder Bike Battle Pack

7. 9489 Endor Rebel Trooper & Imperial Trooper Battle Pack

This battle pack surely won’t end up on everyone’s Top 10 list but I personally love it and believe it was a beautiful set overall. If you love Episode 6 and the battles on Endor, you should appreciate this set.

Unlike most battle packs, this one would hardly count as an army building set as there are minifigures from two separate factions that were not as common by themselves. Nevertheless, I feel like this is why I love this battle pack. Normally, when you get a mixed set like this one, the minifigure selection does not always impress. Here, LEGO managed to combine some great ones.

The set also included the regular Imperial Speeder Bike in brown and a small tree with a cannon. Obviously, the tree is not impressive but if you got a few of these battle packs, you could build something bigger.

Minifigures: Scout Trooper, Stormtrooper, Endor Rebel Trooper x2

Original Retail Price: $12.99

9489 Endor Rebel Trooper & Imperial Trooper Battle Pack

6. 7655 Clone Troopers Battle Pack

The 7655 Clone Trooper Battle Pack was one of the two original battle packs released in 2007. If I had to choose one of the older battle packs to be re-released, it would definitely be this one.

It included three different types of clone troopers in the original Phase II design which was absolutely beautiful. The minifigures from this Battle Pack are on such high demand today that the price for one is astronomical.

The speeder bike and the turret structure that was also included have the old-school design features that, I believe, most of us love to this day. Overall, this Battle Pack is one of the all-time greats.

Minifigures: Shock Trooper, Star Corps Trooper, Clone Trooper x2

Original Retail Price: $9.99

7655 Clone Troopers Battle Pack

5. 75165 Imperial Trooper Battle Pack

What a great year for battle packs we had in 2017. The 75165 Imperial Trooper Battle Pack was literally the perfect Imperial army building set you could possibly imagine.

If you wanted Stormtroopers, this was the perfect set. If you wanted the rare Death Troopers, this was also the perfect set. What else could we say? The set also included a Clone Walker with a brand new design that was very different from anything we had previously seen. Overall, this was an outstanding Battle Pack and I hope we get to see more of these in the future.

Piece Count: 112

Minifigures: Death Trooper x2, Stormtrooper x2

Original Retail Price: $12.99

75165 Imperial Trooper Battle Pack

4. 75035 Kashyyyk Troopers

While this could be an unpopular choice, I feel like the 75035 Kashyyyk Troopers Battle Pack was a perfect set in every category. Normally, I rank my battle packs based on their minifigure selections but here, we had an excellent vehicle as well.

Not everyone would waste money to build a Kashyyyk Trooper army but don’t they just look awesome? The minifigures had an excellent design and the Swamp Speeder, although a smaller version, also was well-designed and could hold two figures. I personally love it when we get important vehicles in battle packs instead of pointless speeders that have never been seen on screen.

Minifigures: Kashyyk Clone Trooper x2, 41 st Elite Clone Trooper x2

Original Retail Price: $12.99

75035 Kashyyk Troopers

3. 75267 Mandalorian Battle Pack

LEGO successfully made us excited about their announcement of the 2020 winter wave of sets. We got two of the most incredible battle packs and an array of other good sets.

Of course, this re-release was dedicated to the release of the first-ever live-action Star Wars show – The Mandalorian. With the high anticipation for the show, it was clear that LEGO would create a set or two and they did not disappoint. Although you do not see any particular Mandalorians from the series, the ones included in the set are incredible and it is simply too cool to see so many color-variants.

In addition, the overall printing that they did with the minifigures was great and I must say – a rarity for a battle pack. I feel like you would not usually get more than one of these but I would gladly pick up a few more of those and build a small Mandalorian army in the future if I see it on sale.

Piece Count: 102

Minifigures: Mandalorian x4

Original Retail Price: $14.99

Lego Star Wars Mandalorian Battle Pack 75267

2. 75266 Sith Troopers Battle Pack

The other battle pack from the 2020 winter wave was the 65266 Sith Troopers Battle Pack. Needless to say, this was also one of the most anticipated sets for this year and it did not disappoint.

We got a total of two brand new minifigure designs (two Sith Jet Troopers and a First Order Officer) and an additional Sith Trooper which is an incredible figure by itself. As mentioned above, I love it when we see small versions of important vehicles, and this battle pack included a Snowspeeder. It came in a beautiful new color-scheme that added a bit of contrast to this set.

If you want to build yourself a Sith Trooper Army, this could be the only set that will ever give you such an opportunity.

Piece Count: 105

Minifigures: Sith Trooper, Sith Jet Troopers x2, First Order Officer (or Sith Officer)

Original Retail Price: $15

75266 Sith Troopers Battle Pack

1. 8014 Clone Walker Battle Pack

Why is such a basic-looking battle pack in the highest position? If you are new to LEGO Star Wars, you would hardly understand. When this came out in 2008 next to the new Clone Wars animated series, it took over the Star Wars community. No other set has reached so many sales, has been so demanded, or has impacted the Star Wars community like the 8014 Clone Walker Battle Pack.

Up to this day, I could hardly compare this to any other set when it comes to its army building capabilities. No wonder it was always entirely sold out and is nowadays so expensive to get. Fans have been demanding a re-release for years but unfortunately, this is unlikely to happen.

Minifigures: Clone Commander, Clone Trooper x2, Clone Gunner

Original Retail Price: $11.99

8014 Clone Walker Battle Pack

Final Thoughts:

As a completely fanatic Star Wars fan, I have always dreamed of having countless minifigures and enough money to get every battle pack a hundred times. Whoever got the idea to create this series of sets in 2007 is an absolute genius.

Our list of Battle Packs was created based on our personal preferences and, of course, the impact of the sets over the Star Wars community. Your choice of 10 could be 100% different and yet, I feel like this list was sufficient enough to present the best of each era in Star Wars.

And now, with no movies to anticipate in the following couple of years, who knows what we will get in the future. Quite possibly, this could be the time when we see some of our favorite Battle Packs re-released.

Hello! My name is Constantinos.
I am 10 years old.
I want to buy two (2) boxes of 1. 8014 Clone Walker Battle Pack.
How can I get it??
I am giving you here in below the email and name of my grand mother
Thank you

They’re retired kid, that means that lego doesn’t make them anymore. The few that are left are sold for over $100. However, If you are interested in a cool looking walker, you can get the 501st Legion Clone Troopers battle pack 75280 which includes a speeder and a walker with a cool blue accent.

if you go to jslitttlethings you can get a lot of cool lego troopers and some cool sets really cheap, like for example you can get a 100 lego phase 2 clone troopers set for $120, and it’s legit, so that’s cool

I've always loved battlepacks, but some are of course better than others. For me, as a MOC builder and occasional stop motion animator who also loves lore accuracy, the primary traits of a good battlepack are these:

- figures it would make sense to see a whole bunch of on the same mission.

- lore accurate vehicles

Sounds quite simple, right? Now let's see how well the 9 different clone battlepacks we've gotten so far (not counting the 501st pack, the 2014 battle on saleucami, or the 2022 minifig pack) meet these standards!

75089 Geonosis Troopers from 2015

user uploaded image

I actually kinda like these figures (not the walker tho, that thing is ugly), but they're a non-canon design, so while they look like they could fit into canon pretty well, it technically wouldn't make sense to see any of them on any mission, so that's why they must be placed last

75206 Jedi and Clone Troopers Battle Pack from 2018

user uploaded image

I would've given this last place if it hadn't been for those geonosis troops being non-canon (I'm sure DP'll be fuming at me for saying that lol).

On the one hand, you do get these great phase 1 clones, which are about as army-buildable figures you could ever ask for, but then you also get

Named. Jedi. Characters.

Even a lot of their individual pieces are rather specific to their characters, so they're not even that fit for making customs!

This, in addition to the non-canon, non-sensical and honestly just ugly vehicle almost gives this set last place, but at least it's got canon figures so that saves it from being completely last

9488 Elite Clone Trooper & Commando Droid Battle Pack from 2012

I imagine this one's gonna be more controversial than the last one but hear me out

First off, I think the whole vs idea for battlepacks was kinda silly and am glad they didn't keep it up for too long

Secondly, the actual figures. Since this comes with droids as well as clones Imma be judging both.

Aaaaaaand both are kinda silly, Arc troopers, Arf troopers and Commando droids are all "elite" figures you rarely see more than 3 or 4 of on the same mission

The mini AV-7 cannon is just fine, not a canon cannon (at that size anyway) but not too far away from canon cannon designs either

75000 Clone Troopers vs. Droidekas from 2013

user uploaded image

Moving up from the bottom third to the middle third, this battlepack's pretty meh all around, a vehicle that's based on a canon one but not to scale, one very very armybuilble figure (the normal clone) and three not very armybuildable ones, for me it's not terrible enough to hate, and not good enough to gush about, so let's just move on

7913 Clone Trooper Battle Pack from 2011

Ngl I think this battlepack is way overrated. It does have the most accurate rendition of the BARC to date, so that's certainly a big plus, but the minifigure selection I find quite strange, especially giving you 2 bomb squad troopers! What the heck do you need an army of bomb defusers for. The ARF trooper is also, as already mentioned, not a great armybuilding figure, so the only decent figure imo in this set would be the standard trooper from Eeth Koth's battalion.

7655 Clone Troopers Battle Pack from 2007

user uploaded image

Ah yes, the one that started it all.

The figures here are overall a big plus, though while it feels like heresy to criticise this set, I don't consider the shock troopers to be super army-buildable figures, as law enforcement don't tend to operate in army formations. The speeder is also not exactly super accurate to the BARC, while the turret I'm not going to rate, because I don't think it'd be fair. Overall quite good, but with room for improvement.

8014 Clone Walker Battle Pack from 2009

user uploaded image

Another classic, this one beats out the previous by virtue of having three completely standard clone troopers, the highest of any of these battlepacks. It's also the only battlepack to give us the classic DC-17s, the only lego piece specifically designed to look like a clone weapon, and one of the only two to give us clone customisation options (and in a more universally applicable colour than the other one).

So why is it not first? First off, the gunner is a figure typically only seen alone in a heavy piece of equipment, and is certainly not a figure you need one of for every three grunts, and secondly the vehicle, while far from the worst we've gotten, is non-canon.

75036 Utapau Troopers from 2014

user uploaded image

Finally we come to the first battlepack with only armybuildable clones!

In theory you should be able to have 660 of these before you have more clones than the whole of the 212th attack battalion, but really I'd think Kenobi's entire corps uses that colour scheme because I really hope that out of the 40 odd thousand clones under his command, it's not just the same 600 man formation he uses for literally everything lmao

Anyway, the octuptarra droid is also among the few properly good side-builds we've gotten, the only major flaws are that it's somewhat oversized, and of course that its lasers have been replaced by flickfire missiles, but these are relatively easily fixable.

Overall great pack, only drawbacks are a slightly flawed vehicle, and of course it was among the first sets to start the long trend of stud shooters being the only armament in battlepacks, a stupid thing I'm glad we're past

75035 Kashyyyk Troopers from 2014

user uploaded image

The ones on here who know my clone collection well probably gasped in shock when they saw that my beloved 212th battlepack was NOT first!

Thing is, back in 2014, it WAS, but it was then overtaken when the "Kashyyyk trooper" became an actual canon design thanks to battlefront II, because you see, this battlepack now also has equally army-buildable figures to the 212th one (if you choose to believe the Kashyyyk trooper design was not just limited to 40 men out of a 40000 man formation), and it also has just a slightly better vehicle in my opinion, because while this one also has silly guns, it IS completely size accurate!

Anyway, that's all of the battlepacks ranked, let me know what you thought if you actually got all the way through lol

My most favorite would 8014 and 7655, such great helmet molds I wish I had more of.

I always wanted the jedi battle pack though, probably will never get it though because retired lego sets cost a lot more than they used to it seems like

That set was hated on a lot so maybe you can find it cheap?

Yeah maybe, I’ve been focused on getting all the dc stuff I missed though and rounding out that collection, because lego dc is pretty much dead

Clone Troopers can't be wrong in any set.

This was a pretty good list! I think each entry was well justified, even if I disagree. I came up with my own ranking based off it:

(LOATHE that cannon build, it’s just upsetting to the eyes. The designs of the clones are pretty good but not ones I can see needing multiples of and I’m not a big fan of their colours. The droids are good but I’d prefer them having the battlepack to themselves, this is a bad half-measure)

(The build and plain clone are great! However, the sand-green clone doesn’t really do it for me and there are way better droideka designs. It’s alright but the new minifig pack outclasses it by virtue of having two plain clones and a better looking third clone)

(Personally I think the walker’s pretty fun. Despite their non-canon status, I like the designs of the clones and I’m glad to have them in my army. It’s oddity and lack of versatility holds it back though)

(Look, it has it’s problems but I’m always happy seeing two plain clones! Besides, I think the build’s neat and the Jedi-whilst not great for army building-are nice to have in a cheap set and great for spare pieces-especially Mundi’s robes which make for great generic Jedi robes. I’ll always love it)

(Really solid battlepack! I don’t think I’d have much use for Kashyyyk clones outside of… Kashyyyk-which holds it back for me as I prefer versatility-but it’s still great with solid-looking clones and a nice vehicle)

(Gah, the ranking gets hard here. Sure the bomb squad troops are unnecessary in such high numbers but I think the variety here makes it great for diversifying an army with clones that can still make sense in myriad situations-especially that ARF trooper. Lovely. Oh, and that speeder is clean! So much nostalgia for this set)

(One of my most wanted sets. The clones look amazing and iconic-not to mention the wonderful Octuparra droid. Utterly fantastic!)
