Tip: Go and find the “Gold Brick Finder” Red Brick first. It’ll make it a lot easier to find all the other Gold Bricks when they are being pointed out to you with an on-screen arrow. Its location is revealed on the Red Bricks page linked to above, since there is no cheat code to get it faster.

Here’s a run down of some of the areas or levels you will receive Gold Bricks for:

Beat a level in Story Mode to get a Gold Brick. You get 1 for each of the 15 levels, so 15 Gold Bricks in all.
Satisfy a level’s True Avenger stud requirement during Story Mode or Free Play Mode. At 1 per level, that’s another 15 Gold Bricks in the 15 main Story levels. – Our “Lego Marvel’s Avengers Walkthrough” shows the stud requirements per level and how to finish all levels.
Collect all 10 Minikits from a level (can be done in Free Play mode) for a Gold Brick reward. That’s 15 Gold Bricks again. – Our “Lego Marvel’s Avengers Minikits Locations Guide” points you to them all.
Find each Stan Lee in Peril that’s hiding in a Story Mode level (15) or around the Manhattan open world hub & 7 smaller hubs (20). As thanks each one will give you a Gold Brick (right away or at the end of a level). There’s 35 Gold Bricks from them all. – Our “Lego Marvel’s Avengers Stan Lee in Peril Locations Guide” reveals them all.
It’s being said the remaining 170 Gold Bricks can be found in the open world hubs by completing puzzles in the main Manhattan hub and the 7 smaller hubs. All these locations are shown below.

The map above shows the locations of all secrets in the sixth part of Chronopolis (Medieval England and Nueva York). Visit the section for walkthroughs for each of these secrets. Gold bricks and people in peril were marked in red, while races and side quests are marked in blue.

Red Icons - gold bricks and Stan Lee in peril

red icons :

1. - (Stan Lee in peril): There is a pile of bricks behind the chairs. Clean it up and use the bricks to create a lever. Rotate the mechanism to free Stan Lee.

2. - (gold brick): Jump onto the pig and begin a joust against the knight. Your task is to throw him off his mount - do so to receive a gold brick in return.

3. - (gold brick): Switch to Doctor Strange and use the scissors to trim the sheep. Destroy the container on your right and the golden plating on your left and throw all items into the furnace. Switch to Thor and charge the generator on your left.

4. - (gold brick): The entrance to the tower is blocked by a plant. Use Doctor Strange to rewind time and move the chest into the direction of the second tower. Throw the chest down and fast forward the time for the plant until it develops bars. Descend to the ground floor and dig the bricks from the ground using Black Panther. Switch to Doctor Strange and use the lever to access the tower.

5. - (gold brick): There is a grated space on the roof and a generator on the balcony below. Switch to Thor and charge the generator to unlock the door to the room.

6. - (gold brick/race): Switch to an agile character (Hawkeye, Gamora, etc.) and complete the race in the given time to receive a gold brick.

7. - (gold brick): There are three tasks that are waiting for you once you get to the location. First, destroy the container next to the barn and switch to Black Panther in order to be able to follow the trail on the ground. Reach the end of the trail and dig out the bricks to build a pair of handles. Use Captain Marvel to rip the gate open and switch to Doctor Strange to move the ingredients to the pot. Do the same with the mushrooms found beyond the green vines (cut through them as Black Panther). Enter the storing space on your left and melt the ice to gain access to the meat.

8. - (gold brick): Your task is to rearrange the stones to create Stonehenge. Switch to Doctor Strange or any character equipped with telekinesis.

9. - (gold brick): Destroy the containers and use the bricks to build a platform. Switch to Captain America and throw your shield at the button in the stable to unlock it. There is a small device inside the stable - repair it as Captain America and transport it using Doctor Strange. Activate the platform for Captain America and throw the shield at the switch in order to unlock the next warehouse. You'll find a container - push it into the machine and switch to Doctor Strange to activate the whole installation and receive a gold brick.

Note - The sphere above allows you to begin a race. Choose a flying character and complete the race in the given time to receive a character token (Kang Minion)

10. - (gold brick): There are a few piles of bricks underwater. Dig a chest from the central one to receive a gold brick.

11. - (gold brick): You'll need to activate three symbols located on three walkways. The left walkway has a button in the middle. The central symbol is found at the seabed next to the central walkway. Use Ms. Marvel to get past the labyrinth. The third symbol (right walkway) is activated through a pressure plate located on the roof of the walkway.

12. - (gold brick): There is a vehicle not far from the locked shop. Switch to Dr. Strange and fast-forward the time for the car (rightmost setting), then use the switch found behind the car. Now, rewind the time (leftmost setting) and use the portal that leads to the locked shop. Use the platform as Dr. Strange and draw the required shape to unlock the main door.

13. - (gold brick): Switch to Black Widow and activate all levers found around the roof. Your actions will unlock a gold brick.

14. - (gold brick): Fly to the top of the skyscraper and switch to Black Panther in order to dig up bricks. Use the bricks to build the missing fragments of the pipe. Use the control panel to activate the sprinklers - one of the flowers will release a gold brick.

15. - (gold brick): There is a machine and a few golden containers on your right. Destroy the containers as Iron Man and create a platform for Captain America. Repair the machine and activate it. Finally, switch to Captain America and throw his shield at the red switch on the wall.

16. - (gold brick): Switch to Doctor Strange and land on the top of the catwalk. Start mind-controlling one of two characters and place him on the left button, while the other character has to compelled to enter the newly unlocked door and use the lever. The action disables electrical discharges in the middle of the catwalk found above. Make your way to the upper catwalk and start controlling any of the characters to move them left and activate the first switch.

Note - Remember that the bottom lever decides which part of the upper catwalk receives electrical energy. There are three icons on top of the lever that display what part of the upper catwalk is currently powered. Manipulate the levers in order to achieve a situation where all switches are on.

17. - (gold brick): Destroy the container and use the bricks to create a control panel. Activate it to disable the grate. The gold brick is on the other side of the ventilation shaft - switch to Ms. Marvel to access it.

18. - (gold brick): Close the dumpster and load the trash to the second container. Now, repair the hologram in the middle of the turn and activate the switch when the indicator is in the green field. Destroy the golden casing next to the belt and use Thor to charge the generator. Finally, approach the levitating bench, destroy the container on your right and build a handle from the nearby bricks.

19. - (Stan Lee in peril): Stan Lee can be found below the city level. The entrance to the tunnel is marked by icon number 19. Open the container and use the bricks to build a sculpture. Charge it as Iron Fist and take care of the incoming opponents. Destroy the golden cage to free Stan Lee.

Blue icons - side quests and races

1. - (side quest): Talk with Morbius to begin the quest. Your task is to activate four levers that will free Morbius. Start by taking care of the guard on your right. Remake the pile of bricks into the first lever. Switch to Black Panther and follow the trail to find the second lever. Continue following the trail to find the third lever and switch to Doctor Strange. Place the hero on the platform found on the first floor and draw the right shape to unlock the cage and receive a character token (Morbius).

2. - (side quest): Talk with Cap-Wolf and accept the mission. Your task is to talk to various inhabitants of Chronopolis marked on your minimap. Complete the objective to receive a character token (Cap-Wolf).

3. - (side quest): Talk with Black Knight. Follow the hero and eliminate incoming opponents. Your reward is a character token (Black Knight/Sir Percy).

4. - (side quest): Talk with King Arthur Pendragon. Follow him through a number of locations and eliminate all encountered opponents. The quest is rewarded with a character token (King Arthur Pendragon).

5. - (side quest): Talk with Merlin and accept the mission. Your task is to gather ten vials marked on your minimap. The quest is rewarded with a character token (Merlin)

6. - (side quest): Talk with Greenskyn Smashtroll and accept the mission. Your task is to help the people of Medieval England. Dr. Strange can arrange the barrels, while the man can be dug out by Black Panther. The quest is rewarded with a character token (Greenskyn Smashtroll).

7. - (race): Complete the race in the given time using any boat to be rewarded with a character token (Mummy Bodyguard).

8. - (boss): Defeat Sentry 459 and knock out Tinkerer to receive a character token (Tinkerer)

9. - (side quest): Talk with Agent Phil Coulson and accept the mission. Your task is to search for SHIELD agents found marked on your minimap. Complete the mission to receive a character token (Agent Coulson).

10. - (side quest): Talk to Captain America 2099 and accept her mission. Your task is to defend her from incoming opponents. Complete the quest to receive a character token (Captain America 2099)

11. - (side quest): Talk with Quake and begin the mission. Your task is to make a photograph of each of the five zones - Lemuria, Egypt, Hydra Empire, Hala, and Old West. Perform all photos and return to Quake to receive a character token (Quake).

12. - (side quest): Talk to Agent Venom and embark on a search for a few people marked on your minimap. The mission yields a character token (Agent Venom).

13. - (race): Finish the race in the given time using a motorcycle to receive a character token (Vormund).

14. - (race): Complete the race in the given time using a web-swinging character (Spider-Man) to receive a character token (Spider-UK).

15. - (side quest): Talk with Spider-Ham and accept his mission. Your task is to follow the character and eliminate all encountered opponents. The mission is rewarded with a character token (Spider-Ham)

1 � Destroy all flying targets using a cannon.

2 � Destroy all flying targets using a cannon.

3 � The goal is simple - you must fix an engine. Use character with fire beam (e.g. Iron Man mark 42) to destroy all objects blocking the rotors. After that switch into Thor and recharge a bettery to uncover a gold brick.

4 � Stand at the beach, destroying all bushes growing there. Switch your character into Sandman and go through the sand to reach a greenhouse with gold brick hidden inside.

5 � Destroy all obstacles blocking the way to the crate with gold brick. Shoot at the silver statue on the left, using Iron Man's rocket attack. Now use Magneto magnetic abilities to take off a metalic bolt from the switch. Turn it on to obtain a gold brick.

6 � Destroy Wolverine's silver statue with rocket attack (Iron Man should be a good choice for this quest).

7 � Use a computer located on the billboard to make a connection between two power points (click on the arrows twice).

8 � Rescue four people from the building, extinguishing all fires. You will find them on every floor (at the roof too).

9 � Your goal is to restore a power supply in the building. Use Thor's electrical powers to recharge three batteries: one is on the roof, second is hidden on the right side of the building (between bushes) and the third one can be found near the water.

10 � For this quest you should choose a big character - like Hulk or Kingpin. Now just use two basketballs to destroy both goals, throwing at them.

11 � Approach to the crate with gold brick and turn right, climbing on the fence. Stand on the switch using a big character and quickly change your hero into a flying character. Now just return to the box and grab a gold brick.

12 � Gold brick is closed in the sewer pipe. Stand on it and turn your character back, so you can approach to the hole digged in the ground. Use Wolverine to dig into the sand, then switch into Sandman and go through the dirt and pick up a gold brick.

13 � Destroy seven red cars in the designated time - the easies way to accomplish that is to use a Hulk.

14 � Use an entrance to the underground to enter the building standing on the right (that's the one with car park). Go to the top floor and toss Captain America's shield at the switch. Now descent to the lowest floor and pick up a gold brick (you must kill all enemies and destroy a yellow container first).

15 � Use fire beam to cut your way through the golden gate, then switch your character into Wolverine. Use claw switch to unlock a gold brick - it will show up on the top floor of the building.

16 � Go to the top floor of the building and use invisibility skill (e.g. Black Widow's). Pass through the cameras and switch nearby computer on. The gate leading to the gold brick will become open.

17 � Descent to the underground, using an entrance on the north-east. Change yourself into Mr. Fantastic and pass through the manhole, located on the left. Now use a computer to open the passage to the gold brick.

18 � Enter the building, using a narrow passage hidden near to the train station. Destroy two silver ventilators to clean your way to the gold brick.

19 � Destroy all four bushes surrounding the fountain, trying to fit into the designated time.

20 � Use Wolverine smell sense to uncover a digging spot, so you can dig it. Now just follow the trace, using your claws on every sand mound.

21 � Destroy a mailbox, standing on the east side of the building and switch to Mr. Fantastic. Pass through the manhole to enter the shop - gold brick is hiden there.

22 � Fly to the top of the building and use a computer. Choose any flying character and stand on the switches located below in the order showed by first computer.

23 � Use a character with invisibility skill (e.g. Black Widow) to pull a lever on the wall. Now make your way through the platforms and poles to finally reach the top floor, where a gold brick is hidden.

24 � Stand on the platform above the road and shoot all targets. The easiest way to do that is to use a character with a beam attack.

25 � Fly to the roof of the building as Thor and throw your hammer at two fragile elements of the wall. Now recharge the battery and pick up a gold brick.

26 � Melt all ice blocks floating on the pool using a fire beam. Turn to Mr. Fantastic to pass through the manhole and recover a gold brick.

27 � Choose Wolverine and destroy a plant. Excavate a digging spot and use a smell sense to track a trail - now follow it, digging up several sand mounds. Finally destroy a contener standing at the end of the trail and get a gold brick.

28 � Use a character with telekinesis skills (like Jean Grey) to clean the windows - you need to use a sponge.

29 � Destroy all boxes using rocket attack (like Iron Man's) then use Spider-Man's spider sense to uncover a crate with gold brick.

30 � To receive a gold brick, just destroy four monuments surrounding an obelisk. Two of them are made from silver (so rocket attack will be accurate) and two other are made from gold (use fire beam).

31 � Use Ant-Man shrink ability and pass through a maze. Stand on every switch to unlock a box with a gold brick.

32 � Descent to the underground, using any fitting entrance (they are on both sides of the building). Switch into a big character and pry open a door, using green handles. Now go downstairs and defeat 20 octobots in the designated time.

33 � Use Ant-Man shrink ability to pass through the maze - remember to stand on both rear switches!

34 � Use a switch to take control over the car with a huge hammer attached. Destroy all other vehicles to receive a gold brick.

35 � Your goal is to rescue all four citizens stucked on the bridge. On the right you will find a car, who needs Spider-Man's attention (use spider-web). Solve this problem and switch into a big character (like Hulk) to move a car located on the left side. Now use Storm wind ability to extinguish the fire covering third vehicle. The last injured can be found above, stucked on the span - put out the fire to finish the task.

36 � Extinguish 10 fires to receive a gold brick. Notice that new flames will show up during your work.

37 � Race through all checkpoints in the designated time to receive a gold brick. The easiest way to do that is to use a flying character (like Iron Man).

38 � Charge battery with Thor, so you can enter the building. Then use Magneto magnetic powers to take off a blockade from the machine.

39 � Climb on the roof of the building and switch into a character with invisibility power (e.g. Black Widow). Now pass through cameras and use a switch.

40 � To receive this gold brick, you must destroy all 10 superhero statues standing arround the building. Three of them are accesible only for Mr. Fantastic - you must pass through the wentilation shift, which can be found on the wall.

41 � Destroy Stan Lee's golden statue using fire beam. Remember to melt a base part too!

42 � Charge both batteries with electricity and enter the building.

43 � Melt golden padlock using fire beam, then enter the shop.

44 � Use any big character to break two walls standing at the end of the building. After that, stand on every button, trying to fit into the designated time.

45 � Warning! This gold brick will pop up on the map after completing the event [41] from the Events Map!

Stand on the top of the building and use a computer with any intelligent character (e.g. Mr. Fantastic). Now cut the energy off, clicking on the arrows.

46 � Go to the point [47] and use an invisibility power. Jump through the platforms and poles, heading to the point [46]. Being on that place, just pick up a gold brick.

47 � That's the starting location for quest [46].

48 � Fly to the tower as Iron Man and use three computers to solve three simple riddles (cut off the electricity, connect machine to the power source and memo game).

49 � Fly to the roof and choose a character with telekinetic abilities (like Jean Grey). Move violet bricks to the buttons located at the end of the maze.

50 � Stand vis-a-vis to the gold brick and then turn around, going to the opposite part of the roof. Melt gold wall with a fire beam and switch to Venom. Move through the pool and pick up a gold brick.

51 � Descent to the underground, using stairs located near to the Daily Bugle. Go to the go-cart hall and use a switch to take control over the vehicle. Destroy all other toys to receive a gold brick.

52 � Go to the highlighted area and defeat the droid:

Break silver cover using rocket attack (e.g. Iron Man's),
Slice golden shield using fire beam (Human Torch),
Throw a rock at the chest of the giant droid (Hulk).

53 � Use a switch on the right and then choose a Ant-Man character. Use shrink ability to pass through all three mazes and receive a gold brick as a reward.

54 � Fly to the top of the building as Iron Man (Mark 42) and destroy all four fans - both silver and gold. After that jump on the buttons hidden in the damaged ventilator holes.

55 � Use a computer to take control over the boat and destroy all other ships. Remember to stay within the designated area, or you will automatically lose!

Gold Bricks is a kind of reward, granted for spectacular acts of heroism. You can obtain them through:

ending mission from the main campaign (15);
ending Deadpool's bonus mission (11);
rescuing Stan Lee in Peril (50);
becoming True Believer (26);
collecting every minikit on the stage (15);
completing specific quest in the New York city area (48);
winning a race in New York city (21);
taking picture as Spider-Man/Peter Parker (10);
solving riddle in New York (54).

During whole gameplay you can collect 250 Gold Bricks , which are required to unlock some of the Deadpool Bonus Missions (see Deadpool Bonus Mission chapter for more information). Remember that you need to collect all of the Gold Bricks to complete the game in 100%. If you missed some of them, just look to the appropriate parts of this guide (we think that map showed above is especially helpful in this case).
