Lego has officially revealed its 2021 lineup of Speed Champions sets. The latest crop features a healthy mix of big-ticket road vehicles and racing cars. With everything from a Koenigsegg Jesko to the Ford Bronco R racer that competed at Baja, we’d wager that Lego fanatics will be happy campers with these new offerings.

This Koenigsegg Jesko set features everything you will know and love about Speed Champions. With only 280 pieces, it shapes every nook and cranny of the Jesko with great accuracy and detail. And coming in at around $27.84, it won’t break the bank either.

Next up comes the Toyota GR supra, which packs 299 pieces. This Lego set does a great job of capturing the factory yellow paintwork and appears to have a removable roof. Much like the Koenigsegg, it comes in at around $27.84 – all of these prices have been converted from the initial figures listed in Great British Pounds.

The last set featuring only one car is the McLaren Elva with 263 pieces. Aside from the lower number of pieces, the Elva bears one of the more unique shapes on the road – just as it does in the real world. The set comes in at a price point of $27.84.
Gallery: SRT Top Fuel Dragster and 1970 Dodge Challenger
The penultimate set features Dodge’s exploits at the drag strip with an SRT Top Fuel Dragster and a 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A. With 627 pieces to work with, the dragster features a high level of detail, and the Challenger is no slouch either. However, the added detail and piece count does come at a slightly higher $83.47 price tag.

Last but not least is the set that models the Ford GT Heritage Edition and Ford Bronco R. While the GT features aerodynamic appendages to keep it stuck to the road, the Bronco R racer comes with a removable roof and all of the desert racing accoutrement that you could imagine for a Lego set. The Blue Oval best hits set will come with 660 pieces, and set you back around $70.

76906: 1970 Ferrari 512 M
Настоящая классика автогонок! Автомобиль, вышедший всего в двадцати пяти экземплярах и созданный специально в противовес Порше 917. Как всегда, исполнение в этой серии просто невероятное по своей красоте, любви к деталям и качеству. Видим уже ставшую стандартной ширину в 8 штырьков и множество наклеек, которые делают стандартные кубики именно гоночной машиной.

76907: Lotus Evija
Только взгляните на этот стильный, электрический гиперкар от британской фирмы «Лотус». Лотус входит в состав концерна «Geely». Авто вышло в 2019 году и стало первой новой машиной этой марки за 11 лет!
Эвиджа настоящий монстр электромашин, обладает собственным мощным мотором на каждом колесе! Если у вас есть 1 700 000 фунтов стерлингов, то я рекомендую подумать.

76908: Lamborghini Countach
Каждый, кто хоть раз играл в последние версии ГТА без труда узнает эту рабочую лошадку. Я много времени прокатался на этой машинке с огромным удовольствием, и в тайне могу лишь позавидовать всем 1997 владельцам настоящей Ламбо (именно столько машин вышло с завода).
Очень классно сделана у модели задняя часть: стильные выхлопные трубы и потрясные фонари. Остальное, конечно выглядит местами даже слабовато, из-за простенького цвета. Добавлю к минусам не прорисованные, стандартные ноги минифигурки. Деталей: 262 шт, цена: 20 $ (от 1750 до 2000 рублей в магазинах РФ)
76909: Mercedes-AMG F1 W12 E Performance & Mercedes-AMG Project One
Любители Мерседесов ликуют, технологические шедевры этой немецкой марки получили свой сдвоенный набор! (не первый!). Более того, один из водителей этих технологически совершенных машин девушка!
Обращают на себя внимание стильный и очень подробный дизайн, и красивая, но простенькая цветовая гамма. Деталей: 564 шт, цена: 35 $ (примерно от 3000 до 3500 рублей в магазинах РФ)
76910: Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro and Aston Martin Vantage GT3
Хоть я и не фанат машинок из конструктора Лего, да и городской тематики вообще – просто невозможно не влюбиться в эту серию. Великолепные машины и очень красивые фигурки.
Каждый год модельный ряд увеличивается и собирает всё больше известнейших марок и фирм: тойота, додж, форд, мини купер итд. Теперь нам представили два Астон Мартина! Опытные любители датской фирмы LEGO вспомнят, что уже была коллекционка с машиной агента 007, Джеймса Бонда, и будут правы. Какой бы брэнд не хотел стать частью семьи конструкторов?
Перед нами два современных спорткара для автогонок и профессионального гоночного спорта. Цвета подобраны на мой вкус не очень классно, но зато соответствуют реальным автомобилям.

76900: Koenigsegg Jesko / Кёнингсегг Джеско
Должен сознаться, до написания статьи ничего не знал о шведской фирме Кёнингсегг (Malefik Bricks познавательный), а оказалось эта компания производит люксовые гиперкары высочайшего качества! Забавно, но в компании всего 24 сотрудника, и образована она в 1994 году.
Что касается мегакара (именно так называют в народе эту махину с установкой в 1600 лошадиных сил) из конструктора, то на мой взгляд он совершенно не удался. Взгляните на картинку машины на коробке и найдите 10 отличий. Кстати оригинальная Джеско будет стоить в среднем 3 млн $ без учёта налогов, и всего их будет около 125 шт. Деталей: 280 шт, цена: 20 $.
76901: Toyota GR Supra / Тойота Супра GR
76902: McLaren Elva / МакЛарен Элва
В самом конце 2020 года я уже писал про эту машину. Тогда нам показали маленький полибэг (№30343) этого так называемого спидстера – автомобиля без верха и боковых стёкол. Любопытно, но и лобовое стекло тут тоже отсутствует. Теперь перед нами полная версия этого эксклюзивного гиперкара за 140 млн рублей. Чтож, возможно это единственная возможность обладать Элвой для большинства жителей Земли. А для кого-то и этот авто дорогой. Деталей: 263 шт, цена: 20 $.
76903: Chevrolet Corvette C8.R Race Car and 1968 Chevrolet Corvette
Классика vs спорт. Один из моих любимых каналов – это Discovery, я очень часто в свободное время смотрю передачи, и могу смело заявить – в Америке настоящий культ автомобиля. И желательно, чтобы это был местный автопром. Хранить раритетные машины в гараже, продавать за пятизначные суммы и бесконечно их улучшать. Что может быть лучше?
Что касается набора, то тут просто высший класс. Потрясающие машины в великолепной детализации. Деталей: 512 шт, цена: 40 $.
76904: Mopar Dodge//SRT Top Fuel Dragster and 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A
76905: Ford GT Heritage Edition and Bronco R
Машины меняются, а суть наборов (шаблон/рыба) нет. Снова американская классика, снова половое равноправие, и снова прекрасный набор чудесной серии. Вообще, чем больше смотрю на наборы этой серии, тем больше они мне нравятся (но покупать я их, конечно не буду). Высочайшая детализация, красивейшие минифигурки и продуманный дизайн с выбором цвета. Вот она лицензия животворящая. + 5 к дороговизне. Деталей: 660 шт, цена: 50 $
31117: Space Shuttle Adventure / Приключения космического шаттла
Абсолютно не плавно переходим к наборам «Creator 3 in 1». И начинаем нетерпеливо их рассматривать, тем более, что получились они просто высший класс, особенно один, но о нём ниже. Итак. Снова шаттл. Невероятно, но факт. Сколько их уже было? Пожалуй, я бы уже начал ругаться, но вдруг увидел ЕГО. Флаг моей любимой и родной Российской Федерации *Всем встать! Звучит Гимн*. Очень мне интересно почему именно такой дизайн? Порассуждаем в комментариях?
31119: Ferris Wheel / Колесо обозрения
Что касается набора, то он снова высший класс – все три модели великолепные, и представляют парковую тематику. Если купить набор три раза и собрать все три аттракциона, то можно существенно расширить развлекательную часть своего Лего Города. Не могу нарадоваться сегодняшними наборами, но что дальше? Деталей: 1002 шт, цена: 90 $.
31120: Medieval Castle / Средневековый Замок
Lego анонсировала 5 новых наборов для сборки культовых спортивных автомобилей в линейке Speed Champions 2022 года. Всего с помощью наборов можно собрать семь легендарных суперкаров.
Один из самых интересных комплектов — Lamborghini Countach из 262 деталей. Особая прелесть в том, что полученная после сборки игрушка полностью соответствует детскому восприятию и отлично передает угловатые формы реального Countach.
Набор для сборки Ferrari 512M позволяет познакомить ребенка с легендой гонок на выносливость с двигателем V12. Комплект состоит из 291 детали и отлично передает брутальный клиновидный силуэт болида.
Завершает список наборов для сборки одного автомобиля первый британский электрический суперкар Lotus Evija из 247 деталей.
Электрический Lotus вышел не очень похожим, но это не совсем проблема Lego. Его впечатляющие вентиляционные отверстия невозможно воспроизвести точно с помощью кубиков. Задняя часть болида с уникальными воздушными туннелями и фонарями удалась дизайнерам Lego лучше.
В дополнение к наборам с одной машиной есть два больших набора по две машины в каждом.
Первый — это комплект из 592 деталей, из которых можно собрать Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro и Vantage GT3. Немного сложно передать с помощью кубиков изогнутые линии этих автомобилей, но результат все равно достоин восхищения.
Еще один набор из 564 кирпичиков позволяет потренироваться с детьми в сборке Mercedes-AMG One и гоночного автомобиля W12 семикратного чемпиона мира Формулы-1 Льюиса Хэмилтона. В официальном описании водитель не упомянут, но номер 44 на борту позволяет понять, чей болид.
Модель Mercedes-AMG One в передаче Lego действительно выглядит как крутой суперкар, но угловатые блоки не совсем точно повторяют линии.
Наборы из одной машины будут продаваться по цене $19,99, а из двух — за $39,99. Выпуск всех пяти наборов запланирован на март 2022 года.
The full LEGO Speed Champions 2022 line up featuring Mercedes-AMG, Lotus, Aston Martin, Ferrari and Lamborghini. With everything from F1 and Historic Le Mans racers to the supercars of the 80s and modern electric hypercars, there's something for every fan.
The big release for the LEGO Speed Champions line has moved around the last couple of years, and this time we're here in early February welcoming 5 new sets to the range for sale as of March 1, 2022. We had a big announcment of the first four sets - solo Ferrari, Lotus and Lamborghini models with an Aston Martin double pack, followed by the Mercedes-AMG F1 and Project One set shortly afterward, so we've got everything here that we know about for 2022. Interestingly, we saw 6 sets last year - based on the LEGO store being out of stock of everything except the Ford Bronco R/Ford GT double pack, we're thinking that set might be sticking with us a while longer.
Let's jump into the new sets:

Against last year's American car heavy Dodge and Chevrolet muscle twin packs, we've come back to Europe - with British, Italian and German brands bringing their race and hypercars. The 8 wide style continues, letting the cars be more detailed and ever closer to the die cast benchmark whilst still maintaining the buildability. LEGO have really focused on handling some of the bigger complaints, with printed pieces and brick-built headlight and taillight combinations used to address some of the fans biggest concerns with the model designs. We've also got a new 2x3 angled bow with additional cutouts that allows the team to provide decoration details to get away from stickered detail.
1970 Ferrari 512 M (76906)
The historic 1970 Ferrari 512 M Le Mans racer - picking up where the Porsche 917K left off, this model represents Ferrari's racing heritage with a super clean design.
Notably, the lead designer for Speed Champions compared this new 512 M to the Porsche 917K in the pit lane set 75876 from 2016 and the comparison is night and day, there's a lot more length to the model, and the vents on the arches are able to be reflected in built detail.
Lotus Evija (76907)
The all-electric hypercar Lotus Evija in 8 wide Speed Champions form. The historic dark green and yellow Lotus racing livery suits the car and its defining rear light intake vents have made it over to this set. It's great to see the Lotus brand in LEGO.
It's the first time LEGO have released any sets with the Lotus brand, and they've certainly leant heavily on the brand's trademark green and yellow livery. The livery of this set isn't even one that's particularly associated with the Evija, with the box art featuring what appears to be a 3D render of the car in this colour scheme.
The trademark rear intakes inside the wraparound rear lights have been replicated in the model, but it's fair to level a criticism at this model that barring the Lotus badges, it would appear much like a generic supercar model. To be honest, this criticism would hold against the production Evija itself - so we'll reserve final judgement until we see the set itself. The box has a cool theme though, featuring Goodwood house, famed for hosting the Festival of Speed. We've seen Speed Champions sponsorship at Goodwood before, so it'll be interesting to see if there's more to come on this in 2022.
Some small notes on this one - the rear spoiler is actually an upside down dark green surfboard (first time LEGO have done this piece in this colour).
Lamborghini Countach (76908)
In full 80s finery the all-white Lamborghini Countach is probably one of the most requested Speed Champions models and we're finally seeing it - the custom rim plates really make this set.
This is probably one of the most requested additions to the Speed Champions line up, and for those Countach fans they're probably glad LEGO waited until the 8 wide format to complete this model. We've got brick-built head and taillight details, with an interesting arrangement with stickers underneath the headlights for the indicator details. As somewhat of a fan of the Countach it's slightly dissapointing they've gone for a mixture of early and late car details (the Countach started off as quite a simple design and grew many attachments over time - the box art shows a very 80s, late car with all of the styling additions).
Mercedes-AMG F1 W12 E Performance & Mercedes-AMG Project One (76909)
From Formula 1 to the road, the Mercedes-AMG F1 W12 and Project One share a powertrain design and represent some of the highest performance cars on the racetrack and street. We've wanted to see a 8 wide F1 car for a while now, and what better than Lewis Hamilton's 2021 championship car in all black.
The Project One hybrid hypercar is based on F1 technology and the car itself is presented in the grey and teal Petronas AMG F1 theme from previous years. We've got a low slung wide profile here, and the rear centre fin is a real focus of the model - reminiscent of the Porsche 919 and Audi R18 LMP1 sets. As with the other 2022 sets, we've got built headlights and taillights and lots of detail in front and rear splitters on the Project One.
The Speed Champions 2021 Mercedes-AMG W12 is crazy to the last attempt at an AMG F1 car - the wheels are far more accurate scales, and modern F1 cars are much longer than they were in 2014. There's a working HALO (as we saw in the Formula E Jaguar) and decorated Pirelli branded tyres with blue wet weather stripes. Pirelli insisted on the treaded tyres having the blue band for realism - LEGO would have preferred white to match the design. Comparing this set with the 2017 Mercedes-AMG F1 cars is night and day in terms of realism and detail.
Sticking with the F1 car, we've got the all-black livery rather than the more traditional Teal & Grey, and it's nice to see LEGO not go to the older livery just to have the sets match. There are some cool details with how the steering wheel is done, and along with the number 44 we've also got a 77 plate in the box for those Valterri Bottas fans. A bit of a shame that LEGO didn't go with a Lewis Hamilton minifigure with this set, but at least we have his number. This set looks to be a great build for LEGO fans, although that it's only available as part of this twin set is a bit of a shame.
Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro and Aston Martin Vantage GT3 (76910)
Aston Martin have a huge endurance racing program alongside their F1 team and finally seeing their brand on some Speed Champions sets brings us our GT3 and prototype hit.
Finally, and the first time we're seeing the brand in the Speed Champions range - we have two sets featuring Aston Martin. We've previously seen the Creator James Bond DB5, and we'd wondered if we were going to see the brand at 8 wide scale. In this twin pack, we've got a Vantage GT3 and the Valkyrie AMR Pro. We've got a lime green theme going on, with the gray Vantage GT3 featuring lime accents and the Valkyrie entirely in lime green with red accents. Both cars have printed headlights and there are a huge number of interesting design details, from the gaping intake on the front of the GT3 car to the undulating rear wing of the Valkyrie.
The Vantage GT3 is definitely traditional aston martin, with the complex full width rear light detail implemented across the back of the model. Having seen video of this model, it definitely looks like the sculpture around the cockpit and the narrowing at the top will be more appreciable in real life than in pictures. Continuing the theme, the Valkyrie AMR Pro is almost all sculpture, with two baseplates included to accomodate the huge space right in front of the cabin behind the front wheels.
The Valkyrie also features custom wheel covers to replicate the real car, and is built long to replicate the real thing. We're going to see a matching 5-wide polybag version of the Valkyrie AMR Pro, following in the line of the Lamborghini Huracan and McLaren Elva of having smaller replicas. It'll be interesting to see how the step up to 5-wide from 4 improves the detail - things are certainly looking good.
