Lego star wars the skywalker saga cheat engine

Обновлено: 27.04.2024

The Star Wars saga is probably one of the most important pieces of pop culture to date. This compendium of all nine movies merged into a LEGO game was highly anticipated, to say the least. And what they’ve been able to achieve here is unprecedented nonetheless. So you know what that means, it’s time for our settings guide to take center stage. I’ve played through the game, felt the nostalgia pump up from within, and created this Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga best settings guide.

Before you head deeper into the guide, don’t forget to check out our guide on How to unlock Boba Fett in Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga.

How’s the Optimization for Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga?

Now I’m happy to report that Lego’s take on the Skywalker Saga isn’t just a cheap game to bank on your nostalgia for the series.

I’ve felt a sense of passion behind its levels, sound quality, and commitment to the source material. It’s carefully crafted to keep the long-time fans of the series satisfied. However, it doesn’t mean it’s a flawless game. Yes, there were optimization issues during my playthrough.

Stuttering, FPS drops, and some performance issues keep Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga from being an almost perfect title. However, these are issues that can be fixed with future title updates for the game.

However, until that happens, I don’t see why you shouldn’t experience this masterpiece of a game. So, we’re going to list the Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga’s best settings and a few fixes that can help you achieve a smooth experience.

You get initial impressions from our review on LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Saga from here too.

Best Graphics Settings for Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga

Best Graphics Settings for Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga

Best Graphics Settings

Now that you’ve confirmed if your system can run Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga, it’s time to jump straight into its best graphics settings. These settings are tuned to give you the best performance and stutter-free experience without compromising visual quality.

Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga Best Video Settings

Video Settings

Screen Resolution: Your Monitor’s Native Resolution

Set the Screen Resolution setting to the native resolution of your display. Using your native resolution will ensure that the game’s visuals will have proper detail without any blurriness. In case you’re running the game on a very resource-limited PC, you could scale down your resolution. However, doing this will significantly lower your visual fidelity in exchange for higher FPS.

Fullscreen Monitor Index: Select your Main Display

In Fullscreen Monitor Index, simply select the primary monitor that you want the game to be displayed on. This setting will only be available if you have a multi-monitor setup.

Windowed Mode: Off

It’s important to run Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga in fullscreen for the best FPS. So, using windowed mode will negatively impact your performance. best leave it off.

Borderless: Off

Borderless is a somewhat better display mode than Windowed mode. It helps you minimize and return to the game quicker in case you’re working on any other application while playing. However, to favor performance, the fullscreen mode is what we’ll use.

Vertical Sync: Off

As in every game, we’ll keep vertical sync disabled to avoid capping Lego Star War’s FPS to your monitor’s max refresh rate. Plus, V-sync also introduces input lag and stuttering which ruins the whole experience.

Shadow Quality: Low

Shadow Quality is one of the most taxing graphics settings in Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga. It produces one of the finest shadows in a Lego game, but the hit-on performance is not justified. Switching Shadow Quality to low helps reduce the load on GPU while also keeping a decent amount of shadow effects.

Anti Aliasing: Temporal AA

Temporal AA is the best Anti Aliasing option in Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga. It’s both cost-effective and outputs the best Anti AIliasing effect that successfully minimizes jagged edges in the textures.

Ambient Occlusion: Low

Turning Ambient Occlusion to Low game me a boost of 3-5 FPS depending on the environment. Plus, during regular fast-paced gameplay, I didn’t notice any visual degradation whatsoever.

Screen Space Reflections: Low

Screen Space Reflections (SSR) is also one of the most taxing graphics setting in Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga. Best leave it at low to enjoy the game at higher FPS at the cost of reflection quality. If you have a decent PC, I’ll recommend bumping this setting to medium.

Image Sharpening: Off

There’s no need for additional image sharpening in Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga as textures are already crisp as it is. One weird thing I’ve experienced is that using texture sharpening actually costs performance. It’s strange since it doesn’t cost any additional resources in other games. Makes me think there might be more to the Image Sharpening setting than meets the eye.

HDR Output: Disable

There’s no need to enable HDR, even if you’re running the game on a high-end PC. The reason for it is that it reduces FPS and doesn’t work as intended (at least at launch).

Now, these were the best settings you should be using in Lego Starwars Skywalker Saga for maximum performance. Now that we’ve got these out of the way, why don’t you start the game and experience the better FPS now?

Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga Best Tips and Tricks

Best Tips & Tricks for Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga

Best Tips & Tricks

Now that we’ve covered all the Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga’s best graphics settings, let’s tweak some other settings. These settings are great for improving your overall experience with the game. From the quality of life changes to major changes in gameplay mechanics, we’ve got it all listed right here. So without further ado, here are the top tips & tricks for Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga.

Turn on Fall Recovery Option

You know about studs in Lego Star Wars franchise right? They’re the in-game currency you buy characters, extras, and gold bricks with. Now Studs are already hard to get as it is, but collecting them becomes cumbersome when you keep losing them every time you die by falling.

By turning on the Fall Recovery Option, you won’t lose studs if you accidentally step off the edge. This will greatly speed up your stud collection process and won’t make you lose your cool if you fall off.

Setting Location: Gameplay Options

Disable Hints Popup

Hints are great don’t get me wrong. A gamer who’s just starting up the game from a fresh save should know the controls through these tutorials. However, hints slowly become a nuisance when they keep displaying repetitive information.

In my case, I saw the same hints when I restarted my game. To solve this issue and reduce screen clutter, I set the Hints option to “Off”. Since I already know how to play the game, hints were simply unnecessary for me hence disabling is a great move here. However, if you’re a new player, you can set hints to “New only” to only see a hint once.

Setting Location: Gameplay Options

Change the Size of Subtitles and Dialog Box

Subtitles are a great way to properly understand the audio in LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Saga. However, the default value for subtitles in the game is quite large. It covers a significant bottom area of your screen which ruins the gaming experience.

Simply switch the Subtitles Size to either small or default for the best size. While you’re doing this, also set the dialog box size settings to large. This properly displays subtitles in the designated area with the proper size.

Setting Location: Audio Options

Put the Minimap on Rotate

Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga has amazing levels filled with a glorious landscape that demands exploration. But, you need to have your trusty minimap on point if you plan on getting lost in exploration. In settings, set minimap to rotate so it shows you the accurate direction no matter where you’re facing. This helps you easily find your way to next objective.

Setting Location: Display Options

Show Map Icons of Current Floor Only

As explained previously, your map is extremely important in your travels across the LEGO Star Wars. However, too much clutter of icons on the map can make it harder to read. If you’re exploring a building or a multi-level area, by default, your map will show icons of interest for all levels at once. This is unproductive as you can get confused figuring out which floor that item you see on the minimap belongs to.

To make the reading mini-map simpler, simply change the Map Icon Visibility setting to “Current Floor Only.” This makes a ton of difference in your exploration as it’ll tell you where exactly each item is without you worrying about floor level.

Setting Location: Display Options

Enable Plug Guide Arrow

After picking up a battery or energy cell in Skywalker Saga, have you ever wondered where to put it? Players end up wasting several minutes trying to find the right area to put the energy sources in.

The Plug Arrow settings help in this regard. It displays relevant icons according to the power source you’re carrying. This way, you’ll exactly know where to insert the power sources like batteries into.

Fix Stuttering, FPS Drops, Lag in Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga

However, to make your experience perfect, we’ll also need to solve other performance issues plaguing the game. Follow along with each step to solve different FPS drops, stuttering, and lag issues in Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga.

Install Latest Windows Updates

Windows Updates for Stalk

Windows Update

Windows updates play a crucial part in a game’s performance. The latest Windows updates contain performance fixes and features to help boost your PC.

To update your Windows, simply:

  1. Open Window’s Search, type “Windows Updates” and click on the first result.
  2. Once you’re in Windows Update settings, click on the “check for update” button.
  3. After some time, you’ll be notified whether there are any updates available for your Windows.
  4. If there are updates, simply download and install them then reboot the PC. Otherwise, skip to the next step.

Update Your Graphics Card Drivers

Whether you’re using an Nvidia GPU or an AMD one, updating your GPU drivers is crucial. Each driver update comes packed with the latest performance updates and bug fixes.

To update your Nvidia drivers, simply download and install Geforce Experience and follow the steps below:

  1. Open Geforce Experience from the Desktop
  2. Go to the driver’s section.
  3. If there’s a driver update, you’ll see a download button. Simply click on it to start the driver updating process.
  4. Once drivers are downloaded, click on “Express Install” to install them
  5. Now after installation, simply reboot to complete the updating process.

To update your AMD drivers, simply download and install AMD Radeon Software and follow the steps below:

  1. Open the AMD Radeon Settings from the desktop.
  2. Once you open the app, check the right side of the application and there will be a driver updating section. Click on the “Check for Update” button.
  3. If there are updates available, it’ll prompt you to download them.
  4. Once downloaded, click on install to begin the AMD Radeon Driver Updating utility. Go through the update wizard and finish the updating process.
  5. After everything is done, simply reboot to complete the updating process.

Set the Game to High Priority

Setting Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga to high priority is one of the best ways to achieve consistent performance. Simply follow the steps below to do it:

  1. Launch the game then minimize it by pressing Alt+Tab.
  2. Open task manage by either right-clicking on the taskbar or selecting “task manager” from the context menu. Or, you could simply press CTRL+ Shift + Esc.
  3. Click on the main process of Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga and right-click on it. Select the go to details option to locate the core process.
  4. Once you’re on the core process, right-click on it, go to set priority, and select “High”.

And there you go. Now Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga has higher priority access to system resources.

Enable Game Mode

Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga Game Mode

Game Mode Settings

Game Mode is a great gaming-centric feature baked into the windows itself. It helps prioritize resources for the game when it detects them. It also helps close or limits the resources towards unnecessary apps running in the background.

To enable Game Mode, all you have to do is:

  1. Open Window’s Search and type “Game Mode” in it. Open the first link.
  2. Once you’re in Game Mode Settings, toggle the game mode on.

And that’s it. Now Game Mode is enabled and all you have to do is launch Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga to experience its effect on performance.

Use Launch Options to Force Fullscreen Mode

In the graphics settings above, I’ve mentioned that running the game in Windowed or Borderless will negatively affect your FPS. So, here’s how you can always start the game in Fullscreen mode to improve performance and fix FPS drops or stuttering issues:

  1. Open Steam and go to your games library.
  2. Here, locate Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga, right-click on it and go to properties.
  3. Once you’re in properties, open the General tab and find the Launch Options.
  4. Here, type the command ” -Fullscreen” (without quotes) to run the game on fullscreen mode whenever you launch it.

It has helped tremendously with stuttering, lag, and FPS drops issues for people. Even if you aren’t running into issues, you should still benefit from running the game on fullscreen mode.

Run The Game as Administrator

Running Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga as admin can solve several performance issues. For starters, any application that might be messing with your game won’t be able to affect it anymore. And, the system will prioritize your game by assigning it dedicated resources. To do this, simply:

  1. Locate the Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga game files through steam.
  2. Once inside, right-click on the main executable and select properties.
  3. In properties, switch to the compatibility tab and check on the setting,” run the application with administrative privileges.”
  4. After you’re done, apply the setting then close the property window.

Your game will always run with admin privileges and it’ll hopefully solve your performance issues.

Disable Your Antivirus

Antivirus may protect us from external threats, but in rare cases, it becomes an internal threat itself. Several antiviruses are known to cause problems with game files. Some antivirus even removes game files that they even find slightly at risk. It disrupts the gaming experience and must be stopped.

Check if you’re gaming is running better by temporarily disabling your antivirus. If your game does perform better, simply add an exception into the antivirus of your game’s install folder.

Now your antivirus won’t fiddle with your game files anymore.

May High Performance be With You

That wraps up our Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga best settings guide. From taking in-game graphics settings to solving critical performance issues, all methods are tried, tested, and working.

If you think there’s a method we missed, do let us know in the comments below. If you’re having any issues with the game and like to chat with us, feel free to do that too down below. Best of luck and have fun playing one of the best Star Wars games to date.

Questions & Answers

It’s apparently not available in the in-game settings. However, you can still use fullscreen by either hitting Alt+Enter when the game’s running to using the launch option “-fullscreen” in the game.

It takes about twenty hours to complete all 9 movies with content in Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga.

Yes, Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga supports split-screen of up to two players. However, it’s also true that playing split-screen, your FPS will reduce as your PC is loading two scenes simultaneously.

Hey, thanks for this! Could it be possible to have an option to modify the FOV on this game somehow as well? Checked the ini files and there isn't an option there so maybe someone knowledgeable in this like you can help? Shame on the devs for changing a decade old camera angle without options to customize them.

Tried the game this morning and loving the new engine I've always thought the lego games have great graphics in their own way and I can't wait to see how they use this engine. Tested the table briefly and all seems working so thanks! I notice the game has upgrade points so I'm going to see about that later (looks like they mostly give more shield, faster building and more firepower).

Game itself is super fun as usual, and is following the movies nice and close. Alas, I got to go out for the day so I have to wait till I get home to play more with my awesome little daughter

Had some good fun with LEGO The Hobbit, LEGO The Lord of the Rings and others in the series. Enough to make me wanna map out some stuff in the Engine using the Nintendo Switch build for LEGO The Incredibles.

Something like this:

Image

Image

Image

I wanna learn how the CHEAT system works (and other internals), as I know from the other two titles I've played (that are x86) you can enable these cheats way ahead of time, so you don't have to play maps over and over for 100% completion. But actually play it one time right from the beginning and do everything possible in that map Enabling from Cheat Engine, that is, not through some console or in-game menu. I know they can be enabled later on or, in some older titles, by supplying the right cheat string.

Will then move it to LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga. Purely educational, intention isn't to make a quick and dirty cheat table, but more to understand how the NTT Engine works.

If it's of any use, if you go to this instruction: "49 8B 83 * * 00 00 48 8B 5C 24".
It does access(r11) the CheatCollectables, which also includes all its values. At +20, you'll see the name "CheatCollectables", so you can differentiate it from the rest. And then at +140, there's the values of it.
Also I don't remember exactly, but inside one of the pointers and then +8 --> +8, there was the names of some variables of it.

^ Yeah, something like that. And you can flip them with ORs of powers of 2. So setting a ptr to 0xFFFFFFFF.. I think it should be a qword.. will activate all. Fun fact, in The Incredibles binary I found the devs didn't discard the cheat strings from previous games. Looks like they just keep piling them up, like some collection

How strange, the brick cheat/hack wasnt working for me so I tried the find the value myself and couldn't find it as a regular value of anything so instead I found the cost of upgrading something (it cost 10,000 studs and 4 bricks) and just changed the cost to 10,000 studs and -99999 bricks which then rather nicely refunded me a ton of bricks for upgrading

I'm guessing the game calculates the amount of bricks from a table and doesn't simply hold the value in memory or something :/

Having fun with the game though, more so now I have lots of nice upgrades

Big +1 on this! The ability to modify the FOV is a necessity for me, I cannot play without getting severe motion sickness

LEGO Star Wars have five capital ships that players need to take control of while playing the game. Players capture Capital ships from their owners, and once captured, these capital ships become the player’s battle stations. Conquering these capital ships can be tricky as the player needs a considerable amount of studs. The player needs a minimum of 2 million studs and a maximum of 5 million studs to conquer any of these capital ships. The other way to take control over these capital ships is through completing various quests and side quests.

Unlocking Capital Ships In LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga

Just like nine dynamic classes in the game, there are five capital ships in total, and the prerequisites for conquering or unlocking each of these capital ships require different steps. In this guide, we will discuss how the player can unlock each one of these capital ships. Let’s get started! Also, if you are still unlocking characters in the game, you might want to take a look at our LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Saga Characters unlock guide and get all 380 of them.

Death Star Capital Ship

Deathstar

Death Star is probably the most iconic capital ship in the Skywalker Saga. The first step towards unlocking this capital ship is that the player needs to complete the entire 4th episode of “A New Hope” campaign.

Once the player has achieved that, he has to make his way to the Federal District in Coruscant. The player then has to talk to the Rebel Engineer present at the Great Temple hanger in Yavin 4.

The Rebel Engineer will assign a side quest, “Operation Stardust,” to the player. The player needs to finish this side quest, and once all these steps are done, the player can finally go to the ships tab in a holoprojector to take control of the Death Star. The Death Star is bought for 5 million studs. While you’re at it, consider reading our LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Saga Studs x10 Cheat Code guide and acquire the capital ships quickly in the game.

Death Star II Capital Ship

Lego Star Wars Deathstar II

Deathstar II

The Death Star II is the successor of the above Death Star capital ship in the Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga. To Acquire the Death Star II, the player needs to reach the 6th episode of the “Return of the Jedi” campaign. Once the 6th episode is done, the player needs to pave his way to the Ewok Village. The Ewok Village is located on the Endor.

After the player has reached his destination, he must talk to the Ewok engineer and start the side quest “Doom Ball III.” After the player successfully completes the side quest, the player needs a Holoprojector to purchase the Death Star II finally.

The Death Star II costs two million studs to the player who has completed his initial target. If you don’t have enough studs, then read our Lego Star Wars Studs Farming guide and earn up to 100k studs per run in the game. Also, read our Skywalker Saga Crossplay guide and learn more about it.

Executor Capital Ship

Executor

The Executor is a personal flagship of the Darth Vader, and the process of unlocking this capital ship is very different from the Death Star and Death Star II. The player himself needs to take over this capital ship even before it is available for purchase. No quests need to be fulfilled to take control over Executor.

The player must go to Tatooine or Bespin space to participate in several battles in the space area by the time the Executor spawns. The player has to defend all the enemies surrounding this capital ship and then take charge of the ship by boarding it.

Once boarded, the player still has to fight each and every enemy until they all are dead and the ship becomes his own. That’s when the player can purchase the Executor from the ship menu.

The Executor costs the maximum amount of studs that, is 5 million. Read our Lego Star War Skywalker Saga Glitches guide and exploit some of the hilarious glitches in the game. Also, here is a Lego Skywalker Saga Co-op Guide for when you want to play with friends.

Steadfast Capital Ship

Lego Star Wars Steadfast

Steadfast

Steadfast is a Kylo Ren’s Flagship and also a Star Destroyer of the First Order. Steadfast is another beneficial capital ship for the LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Saga Battleships guide.

The player must travel to the Jakku space or Passana space. The player has to fight all the enemies in the surrounding space. Once the outer defenses are destroyed, the player can take control of the ship by boarding it.

After boarding the ship, one by one, the player starts taking down all the enemies. There is a set of instructions provided there too. By completing all the instructions, the player can take all control of the ship and then purchase it for 3 million studs from the ship menu. While Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga Cheat Codes unlock some of the rear items in the game, capital ships are not one of these.

Trade Federation Battleship

Trade Federation Ship

The Trade Federation Battleship is the most iconic capital ship of the Clone Wars time. It is also seen in the films around Naboo and Geonosis. Just like Executor and Steadfast, the player can take control of this capital ship by fighting different space battles.

The player has to head towards Geonosis and Naboo space area. The player has to then participate in all the space battles and destroy all the ship’s defenses. By boarding the Trade Federation Battleship, the player takes control of the ship and defeats all the enemies.

After clearing out the entire ship, the player can purchase the Trade Federation Battleship for 3 million studs from the ship’s menu.

Summoning Capital Ships In LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga

After the players have captured, unlocked, and purchased all the capital ships, they can summon them now in any space region they want. The player has to open up the ship menu while being in the space and select which capital ship should be summoned.

One player can summon only one capital ship at a time, not more than that. Capital ships are the major assets for any player in the LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Saga Battleships. They hide many secrets for the player.

The player can easily unlock any capital ship they have charged control of and explore the interior of any of their capital ship. Exploring capital ships can help the player find some collectibles onboard and have a little fun during the game.

With that, we conclude the Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga Capital Ships guide! Make sure to tell us your opinion! While you’re at it, consider reading our Lego Skywalker Saga Datacard Location Guide.
