Сюжет
Над Готэм-Сити летит самолет, загруженный взрывчаткой. Пилоты просят авиадиспетчеров дать добро на пролет борта в воздушном пространстве города. Самолет захватывает Джокер и его подручные, которых он освободил из тюрем. Джокер установил под энергетическим центром города супербомбу и угрожает ее взорвать. В этом случае Готэм со всем его населением провалится в тектоническую пропасть, располагающуюся под ним. Комиссар Джим Гордон пытается задействовать Бэт-сигнал, но Бэтмен не доступен. Джокер требует прибытия мэра, его пожелание выполняется, но вместо мэра появляется замаскированный Бэтмен.
