The Mini Huggies (also known as Huggy Buddies) are toys that were produced by Playtime Co. specifically for the Wack-a-Wuggy mini-game. They are mini versions of Huggy Wuggy.

Appearance
Similar to Huggy Wuggy, the Mini Huggies are long legged, furry entities that come in a variety of fur colors such as green, red, blue, and yellow. Their hands appear to have straps of Velcro on them, allowing them to grip onto objects. They also have four fingers and thumbs but they are fused together in a glove-like fashion leaving them unable to move individually. They appear much shorter than Huggy Wuggy, with them looking human-sized (when the Player gets jumpscared). Like all other Huggy Wuggy-type toys, they have large eyes with black, dilated pupils and large bright red lips, with rows of small teeth when aggressive.
Mechanics
The Mini Huggies make an appearance during the Wack-a-Wuggy game and is the only time they can attack the player. There are 18 holes in the walls during the game, and when it starts, the player will hear them crawling to make their way to the player through the holes. The player must hit them with their GrabPack in order to make them retreat. If they start to make a low growling sound, start shaking, and are leaning out of the tunnels, the player must quickly make them retreat by hitting them with their GrabPack or they'll fly towards the player and jumpscare them, causing a game over. The Mini Huggies presumably kill the player by breaking their neck, unlike Huggy who simply devours the player.
Story
Chapter 2: Fly in a Web
The Mini Huggies act as gaming mechanics for the Wack-a-Wuggy game. Having detached from their strings that were once used to pull them back if they got too close to the children as heard by Mommy Long Legs before Wack-a-Wuggy starts. The Mini Huggies are now tasked to exit their holes to kill the player.

The player will receive a game over if they had failed to push the Mini Huggies back into their respective holes on time. If the player succeeds in the game, the Mini Huggies will retreat back into their holes and stay immobile. When all of them are, the player has beaten the game and are free to leave the area.
A few minutes after the player leaves the area, faint noises of clanking sounds and screams of Mini Huggies can be heard, where they are killed by Mommy Long Legs for not succeeding in the killing of the player. Near the end of the game, if the player heads back to the Wack-a-Wuggy game area, all 18 of the Mini Wuggies are gone. The player can spot the corpses of the Mini Huggies sticking to the ceiling of the Game Station, covered in Mommy Long Leg's webs, although only three of the 18 Mini Huggies are present, and on of the yellow Mini Huggies is missing. The whereabouts of the other fifteen are unknown.
Personality
Although the Mini Huggies don't have a canon personality, it is presumed that they are being controlled by Mommy Long Legs in an attempt to do something regarding The Player. Evidence to prove that Mommy Long Legs is controlling these little toys is the fact in Chapter 2 Trailer she grabs a really small Wuggy, though this particular one seems to be a toy instead of a big Wuggy. They also are much more skittish as simply a smack from the GrabPack is enough to cause them to run off, but they are still malevolent, crawling towards the player in a large group to overwhelm and kill them. They are also known to be obedient as seen in Huggy Wuggy and Kissy Missy’s behavior towards tasks.

Хагги Вагги, или Хаги Ваги (англ. Huggy Wuggy), — персонаж компьютерной игры Poppy Playtime, первый эпизод которой компания MOB Games выпустила 12 октября 2021 года. Сейчас десятки младших школьников по всему миру играют в Poppy Playtime в новом режиме «Роблокса».
По сюжету игры Хагги Вагги — антагонист, который охотится за игроком, бывшим сотрудником фабрики игрушек Playtime Co. Лучше всего огромное антропоморфное существо с синим мехом умеет обниматься (отсюда и название Huggy — от англ. to hug, то есть «обнимать»). Причем сперва он был добродушен, но из-за катастрофы на фабрике стал монстром.
Игра, как и многие другие инди-хорроры (низкобюджетные игры в жанре ужасов. — Прим. ред.), быстро стала популярной у летсплееров и стримеров. Аудитории особенно понравился не сюжет хоррора, а сам монстр Хагги Вагги. В сети стали появляться арты и клипы с персонажем. Иногда в работах фанатов появляется женская версия Хагги Вагги с розовым мехом — Кисси Мисси. Хотя ее изображение и встречается в оригинальной игре, ее самой там нет. Впрочем, это не мешает поклонникам Poppy Playtime фантазировать на тему взаимоотношений Хагги Вагги и Кисси Мисси: в сообществе принято считать, что эти персонажи состоят в романтических отношениях.
«У нас пропал синий Хагги Вагги»
Хагги Вагги стал героем не только изображений и видео внутри сообщества, но и десятков мемов, включая один, который стал самым популярным. В его основу легла фраза «У нас пропал синий Хагги Вагги. О нет, Хагги Вагги, нет, брат, нет. Он сгорел, почернел».
Мем появился благодаря ютуберу Скорти, который опубликовал видео «Хагги Вагги умер и стал призраком». Блогер играл в мод, позволяющий загрузить в игру GTA V модель Хагги Вагги, к тому же разных цветов. Один из персонажей — классический синий Хагги Вагги — погиб на костре. Фраза, впоследствии превратившаяся в мем, была реакцией на эту смерть.
Неизвестный тиктокер обрезал оригинальное видео Скорти и исказил голос ютубера. В итоге звук приобрел популярность в отрыве от фэндома (фанатского сообщества. — Прим. ред.) Poppy Playtime — он выражает отчаяние и крайнюю степень огорчения.
Почему Хагги Вагги нравится детям
Хагги Вагги настолько популярен, что во всех мировых маркетплейсах тут же появились линейки игрушек разного качества, часто в комплекте с ними идут теряющие популярность поп-иты. Средняя цена на игрушку на Ozon сейчас около 500 рублей (но есть Хагги и по четыре тысячи!), а вместе с ними на рынок «полетели» чашки, рюкзаки с принтами, антистресс-сквиши и все остальное, что могут попросить школьники у родителей, когда у них появляется «герой сезона».
Поиск по релевантному запросу забит результатами формата «как сделать Хагги Вагги из носка», «как сделать Хагги Вагги из бумаги», «как сделать движущегося Хагги Вагги» и так далее (запросы выдают уже 5 миллионов результатов и более). Причем, если судить по «Гугл.Трендам», Россия идет не в ногу с мировым поиском: там интерес к Хагги уже угасает, а у нас, наоборот, пока постоянно растет (не будем спрашивать, при чем здесь тикток).
Подобная ситуация уже происходила с монстрами из другого хоррора, Five Nights at Freddy's, где главными антагонистами были жутковатые движущиеся куклы, похожие на животных. Популярность у детей стала причиной выхода многочисленных продолжений серии, сопровождающихся и появлением новых игрушек.
Стоит ли отказывать ребенку в покупке Хагги Вагги или другого подобного монстра? С точки зрения психологов, в детском интересе к «страшным» игрушкам нет ничего плохого.
Игровой терапевт и детский психолог Александр Покрышкин замечает: «Для детей любая выбранная игрушка — это форма выражения каких-то чувств. Например, родители задаются вопросом: нужно ли иметь в детском наборе такой предмет, как игрушечный унитаз? Я думаю, ничего плохого в этом нет. При помощи этой игрушки дети осваивают вопросы, связанные с гигиеной. Трехлетнему ребенку, который еще недавно пользовался горшком, трудно найти слова и выразить, допустим, свой страх провалиться в унитаз. И игра с кукольной сантехникой — это его возможность отрефлексировать свою тревогу. Так же и с негативными персонажами: ребенок таким образом проживает определенные чувства».
