Background [ edit ]

The Witch Doctor is the main antagonist in the summer 2011 storyline. Aldous Witch was a mild professor at Hero Factory, helping train new heroes, possibly including a young Preston Stormer. However, he envied the power of his student's Quaza cores and sought out to make that power his own. He traveled to Quatros on an expedition with a team of heroes led by Preston Stormer, and secretly continued his search for Quaza. Wondering where Aldous had gone, his teammates ventured through the jungle, where they found him attempting to implant himself with a makeshift quaza core. They stopped him, and probably saved his life due to how unstable Quaza is. Due to certain laws, Aldous should have been jailed, but the Hero Factory simply banished him from Quatros, due to who he was. Feeling betrayed, the professor grudgingly left Quatros. Somehow, he managed to return to Quatros and furthered his research. He soon was attacked by the wildlife and sent a distress call to the Hero Factory. He fled, and eventually stumbled across a temple and sought refuge inside. He ventured inside, and feeling safe continued his research. He explored the temple and took notes on the hieroglyphics. He wandered aimlessly, until he found an ancient relic in the form of a stone skull. The skull had odd readings, so naturally he could not resist taking it for research. He fashioned it to a staff, and tried to add quaza to it. His experiment went awry and he was transformed by the corrupted quaza into an evil and more powerful entity. Since the incident, he wrought havoc upon the planet, corrupting the wildlife and forcing them to mine quaza for him. Team member Rocka ventured to Quatros due to the previous distress call, to help the lost professor. He landed on Quatros only to be ambushed by Aldous, now under the alias as "Witch Doctor", in order to bait more heroes to Quatros. Alpha team traveled to Quatros to be immediately confronted by the Witch Doctor and his servants. Witch Doctor easily defeated the heroes, and he tried to steal their herocraft. The heroes managed to stop the Witch Doctor from taking their ship, causing the Witch Doctor to flee into the jungle. Witch Doctor's ultimate goal was to drain their hero cores and continue to destroy the planet. [1] He intended to drain the sources of Quaza on Quatros to make him even more powerful. This loss of quaza from the ecosystem would result in the destruction of the entire planet, since this material keeps it together. [2]

His Skull Staff carries two corrupted Quaza spikes, which allow him to control creatures of the planet, such as Fangz, Raw-Jaw, Scorpio and Waspix. [1]

This is it, heroes! Witch Doctor has a nasty plan for jungle planet Quatros – to steal the planet’s very life force – its Quaza! If he’s not stopped before it’s too late, the planet will break into pieces. Battle through his corrupted helpers, the beasts, to get to him! Beware of his mighty power staff!

Biography

Aldous Witch was once an instructor at Hero Factory, teaching Rookie Heroes about astronomy and architectural geology. Witch had always desired the Hero Core that Heroes wore on their chest. He then, sometime after the events of Ordeal of Fire, tried to supercharge himself in the Quaza Recharge Chamber only to be stopped by Preston Stormer. Mr. Makuro then banished Aldous from the Hero Factory for his actions. He then traveled to the jungle planet of Quatros, using the Hero disarm passwords to disable the force shields (around the planet), and began illegally mining for the dangerous mineral himself. He found himself in danger due to the planets animals, and sent a distress call to Hero Factory, though he later escaped to safety. While excavating, he wandered into an ancient temple which housed a stone skull and fashioned it onto a staff he found. When he added a sliver of Quaza, the staff not only amplified the power of the Quaza, but transformed him into the Witch Doctor.

Witch then started to enslave the planets wildlife by outfitting each of them with Quaza Spikes and ordering them to mine for Quaza. The Alpha 1 Team responded to his earlier distress call, after getting a report from Rocka. Witch confronted the heroes himself and revealed his true intentions to them. Furno attempted to strike him, but Witch pushed him back. He revealed that the Quaza made him powerful and with their ship, he could escape once he took the last of the Quaza and warped away and sent corrupted wildlife after the heroes, and began to battle them. Witch was yet again confronted by the heroes when Rocka used a warp device to reach his airship. Witch sent his animals at them again and engaged Rocka in combat. During the fight, Stormer stole his staff and Rocka easily defeated him. When the heroes noticed Witch's actions were destroying the planet, Furno quickly destroyed Witch's airship and released the Quaza into the planet's core. Witch was then taken to Makuhero City and imprisoned at the Hero Factory.

In the episode Breakout, Witch Doctor can be seen escaping the Villain Storage Facility during the mass Breakout. He has since been recaptured. [citation needed]

5* Imaginative construction toy

We have two grandsons aged 9 and 10 both of whom requested this item for Christmas. It is educational in the respect that it has to be constructed following informative instructions, durable in the respect that all pieces are solid but the figure will come apart if dropped or mistreated and entertaining particularly if you consider the imagination that has gone into developing these. One of our daughters always tries take over ( she's also a jigsaw fanatic) and build the Lego for her son but the two boys were quietly and happily entertaining themselves with this project. A great success and recommended (if you can locate one which is not easy!)
